Its definitely the Honda Jet that you guys are getting. I love flying and what an amazing life you guys have to be surrounded by these nice aircrafts. Stay safe and thank you for sharing
Piper Turbo I believe could be a more sustainable investment. I support the boys and family. If they even know how many people enjoy the fun of taking chances and rolling the wheels. Onward 🌈
The BBJ is based at my local airport in a huge private hangar. It flies to KSJC to pick up the owner/passengers and following the business trip, stops at KSJC to drop off passengers, then flies back to its base airport. I was always curious what the interior looked like and would never have had a chance to see it if it wasn't for this video. So thanks for the interior tour!
Glad you had a chance to hit NBAA, it won't be your last visit for sure. I was there as well. I fly a Falcon 7X (out of Denver) that's getting an upgrade in June so I was chatting with the team at Dassault as well as a gander at all of the eye-candy. Your reviews are great. Your Lucid expose' contributed to my decision to purchase an Air GT.
I would guess the only company taking ILO's right now is Honda jet on the new Honda Jet 2600 or the Echelon. Single pilot 2625 mile range. Estimated to come in at around 12 to 14 million dollars. It was reported they already have 350 ILO's. This would my choice as well. CA to HI. Nice
Haha I know right at first I liked his vids and I keep finding myself watching them but whyyyy do u keep investing money into planes and not training to actually be a good pilot hats off to Owen and the crew super cool bunch of guys but not a fan of you sir you whinge a lot why buy a jet if u are just going to complain everyone knows there not cheap u don’t see videos of people doing it cause no one wants to see a sook sook about his little $13000 jet bill that’s nothing considering what it can do and the safety of it so think yourself lucky to even be able to do what you do will never be as good as Cletus or Dave though
Very impressive to go to a show like this and purchase a new business jet! You guys were so struck over the Honda jet, so I'll bet that's the one you purchased. But my favorite one that you featured is the Praetor 600. Very nice bird! 😊
*I’d take the ACJ. At least you’d know it wasn’t going to fall apart on you while flying! And I’m pretty sure Airbus Doesn’t assassinate whistle blowers!* 😂
i fly a M350. it’s the best SEP for me. but w/b is not suitable for 6 PAX and +1,5H fuel. BUT, FL250, 200kt TAS, Weather Radar, Anti Ice boots etc, makes is sooo much more capable for serius transport missions than the most planes in the same price catagory. i love her
Hopefully I can catch you guys in Billings soon, whether its in a Bonanza, the 501, or a new Honda Jet. Sadly I was in school last time you guys came by.
I’m glad you guys are so confident in the Bonanza to take a Single Engine non-Turbo over the Sierras. Not Me, although I’ve done some Mountain Flying over many of the various SoCal Mountains. Circled over Big Bear Airport as I watched a loaded older Airplane go down out of the Airport their. Hardest day of my flying days in the 90’s.
I attended my first NBAA at Burbank in I believe 1974. I was already a subscriber to BCA magazine and yes everyone was there, Gulfstream, Dassault, Lear, Aero Commander, Beech, Piper, Cessna, Mooney and even such little known brands as the Meyers Interceptor 400 as it was known and which I had the pleasure of flying about 15 years later at Burbank. Two were produced one was still flyable. The big change is avionics, perhaps too much of it. I think I have mentioned My panel is almost 50 years old and original to my bird. I have 3,000 hours and almost all of it hand flown, even my 50 hours or so in Vickers Viscounts when I owned a rock group transportation business.
OK, so here is my observation, take it or leave it. You guys need to slow down, and enjoy and savor the cool planes you already have, at last count, the Cessna 182 with the larger engine, the Bonanza, and of course the Citation Jet. Three awesome planes that you ought to take advantage of, by taking the time to learn how to fly each of them, and enjoy the fruits of your labor with RU-vid. Stop being passengers and get on it! Get all the ratings, PVT, IFR, CPL, ME, and build up some time and experience like Owen has done as well as Tommy (Gear Down) . Just saying, you guys are lucky! Happy Holidays!
If your Citation is too old and problematic, maybe look at the Eclipse 550. It's about half weight of Phenom 100, same as visionjet but has two engines and it goes. FL410. And I think it has the best fuel economy of any jet. Unfortunately pratt and whitney increased the price of the engines absurdly to 911k$ a piece but maybe if the engines have life enough left for personal use. I think it's an overlooked aircraft, if only pratt and whitney didn't sabotage it. Eclipse should make their own engines. They originally targeted half a million as the price for the entire plane. PW is the problem.
Dude, your videos are so inspiring. I love how you’re chasing after your dreams! I love the vids and I’m thinking the jet you signed for was possibly a Honda Jet first and second guess would possibly be a CJ3
Great memories of my one and only NBAA show visit at San Antonio back in 97 (I still have the tshirt!). We then visited Renton and met with the new BBJ team trying to sell them our Psion based 'Point of No Return' and Runway Obstacle calculator. You guys suddenly made me feel old.... 🤣
No matter what others say about you guys being rich kids and spoiled, you guys worked for it. So keep pumping out the content and making entertaining content ❤
Ever since I saw it on a flight magazine in 2005, the Hondajet has been my dream plane and will probably always be. I found it to be so beautiful, eye catching, and unique and just enough range for what I would want to do, especially that new Echelon. Hopefully one day I'll hit all six numbers on the lottery 😅
I personally would buy the Praetor 600, and the last jet I was looking at purchasing was a Falcon 7X, so it says a lot in terms of all of the features it has, the range, and new options that become available. Haven't signed an LOI or anything, but maybe in a year or two.
My sister got to fly on one of these BBJs just because she was nice to a customer where she was working at in So. America. Free ride home to California AND he got a limo to drive her from Burbank to home... All because she snuck him some pancakes!
I enjoyed the video. I liked the video (which I often forget to do) primarily because you said "Please click the Like Button because it really helps with the RU-vid algorithm..." Somewhere along the line some idiot said, "Please smash the Like Button..." I can't stand it. It was refreshing to have a reason for doing it. I know, it's weird and petty but to each their own. Great video.
Hmmm ... I'm thinking of something like, uh, Barter Kings .... ya know ... start off with a cheap Bonanza, do a few trades and upgrades, and in 5 years you get to take delivery of a new ... HondaJet Echelon? (I'm guessing it's no longer the 2600?) You're gonna love the 120 gals/hr it guzzles, tho.
I can already guess, you guys put down an LOI on the Hondajet coming out in 2028!! My favourite Plane is the Praetor, though you guys zoomed past it, barely showed us content in there.
Brotherman i just sat here and binge watch all of your videos dont even know how i got to your videos. ... but i gotta say man, yall make that look so fun and makes me want to buy a bonanza..!
Seems you were quite excited for the Phenom 100 and honestly I think it's a better plane then the Honda jet. I know a few people who have had brake issues with the Honda jet. They feel smaller and the phenom kepps many of my customers happy. Non jet, the Malibu is awesome.
The Malibu. If I remember correctly, the early Malibu’s had a lot of engine problems…like they failed. I had one friend that had 3 failures in one. Sexy looking airplane and very comfortable…until the engine fails.
My guess young man is the Piper Turbo...reason being Piper. This one kicks the can for a long walk. I truly enjoy your content. Fabulous times with genuine intent. Onward 🌈 to your true likes and dislikes
