Costco is a magical place, where you magically go in for one or two things, then you say " fuck yeah I want 4 lbs of bacon for $13.99" and 45 minutes later you cash out and your receipt is over 300 bucks...I love it. My wallet however does not always appreciate it. Their steaks are next level though.
When most people go grocery shopping, the first place they go is to the produce section to collect the fruit and vegetables. These guys first stop is a damn fridge! hahaha
"I'll take a refrigerator, micowave, carrots, BBQ tongs, pressure cooker, 400 pounds of meat, 7,263 eggs, 500 pounds of bacon, and that couch...yeah, that should do for now - I'll be back in 3 days to stock up again".....
Without sponsorship or really decent career/work it's near impossible to pay for all this food long term. I wonder how Eddie Hall managed on car mechanic salary before the stardom ;) He lives in a cheap part of UK but nevermind the mortgage - his food bill was more than entire family - plus supplements, juicy juice etc. Respect.
I never understood why people hate grocery shopping. I love it. I always love to know I have complete control over everything I eat. It also is a time which helps to keep me mindful of my life and what I am doing.
So you set a refrigerator down without concerns to the Sealed System. Always a good chance for the compressor oil to run into the evaporator coils & then SOL as you just fucked up a brand new fridge
I was so confused on why all the other shoppers where so small pushing around the shopping carts. But then I realized that the shopping carts are not regular size, they just seem like that when being pushed around by these two giant men.
I'm glad I can always come to the comments to find hundreds of doctors and nutrition experts. I know RU-vid has anyone's back. and then the appliance specialist I mean RU-vid has it all. so many qualified people judging a video of professionals lol
now I know why the girl who got zombie pranked by her brothers said there was gonna be a bloodbath att CostCo's, they seem to have it all xD (I'm from Sweden so the comment kinda went over my head at the time)
Has there ever been a reason said why they wouldn't just go to a butcher and buy a cow/half cow at a time? seems like it'd be worth it with how much meat they're getting
No problem. We shot interview podcasts with Stan, Thor, Ed Coan, Mike O'Hearn, and Dana Linn Bailey. We'll have all of them up just as soon as I can edit them!
Eh it depends on where you live but you actually have to pay a membership to shop at costco. Basically if you run a small business or whatever that's where you shop. They even have a hotdog and a refillable drink for only a $1.50.
foods are cheap..that common in america..but all that electrical appliances refrigerator and microwave for less than $850 thats ridiculous cheap..where im from refrigerator and microwave alone cost about $1000++
Guys do recall that they bought a small fridge. It's not a full size fridge. Therefore it won't cost $1000+. An $850 is pretty high, especially when talking about feeding a handful of ppl. Not bad considering they also got several appliances and a ton of ground meat.
you could save a whole bunch of money if you buy a whole cow or steer and have it butchered yourself and just freeze it at home. I have a whole steer here at home, got almost 800 pounds of beef out of it and paid about $1.63 a pound including the butchering of the steer.
i came up with a fun little diet trick that i alternate with monster mash and its relatively simple i cook my beef in a pan with butter or avocado oil and when thats drained (down the sink or packed to reuse) i dump baked navy beans into the pan and they come in a can with tomato sauce/ketchup sort of consistency. i find this incredibly easy to go down, and its easy to consume alot of it i use a third of a packet of 2 pounds/1kg of ground beef and a simple 425g can of baked beans in tomato sauce and you can cook that pretty hard without it fucking up. then i might add a bit of ketchup out of a bottle at the end or eat as is and thats the easiest 80+g of protein per meal i've ever created, and that fiber with the beef couldnt hurt, and its an extra 16g of protein per can and its not even slightly filling really. so hopefully this little idea could help somebody. you could easily cook in bulk and have 3 in 3-6 in hours its really that easy to get down. and thats like 250g of protein in only 3 meals
0:59 4x World's Strongest Man? Am I missing something? I thought he was Iceland's Strongest Man but to my knowledge he hasn't won WSM yet. Is that right?
Yeah I don't know how people or whatever can be so calm and normal a out people doing that shit. I always cover up when going to Costco I can't deal with the stares just feels hella weird!
$850 US for all of that. God, I go and get one night's dinner and a handful of random stuff from the supermarket here in New Zealand and generally walk out $50 lighter.
They prob tested the fridge to see if it was gd for tossing. Because after loading ALL that weight on top of it that thin coat of aluminum is definitely dented.
nande230231 the largest animals always eat plant-based. This has several reasons... But I promise, if these two giants, and also giants like thor and Brian Shaw would change to a plant based diet, they would feel so much better. Digesting that amount of meat is a big challenge for our body. And if you say you can’t eat 10k+ calories... yes you can, you can easily. The keyword is smoothies and shakes. You can mix up easily a 3-4K shake in a volume of 2-3l and you will be able to eat again after maybe an hour or two, because the digesting is so fast. Also you don’t need 10k calories plant based, because it’s more efficient. You need much less. Look up Patrik baboumian, he is also a vegan strongman. First he was vegetarian for years, weighing about 110kg(242lb) he’s 175cm tall. After he changed to a vegan diet he went up to 140kg, which he wasn’t able before, because he couldn’t consume that much meat in a day and his metabolism was slowed from all the dairy products. He also made 3 world records as a vegan.
Thing is, when you consume this much food, your put insane stress on your metabolism. The aging and inflammatory processes in your body goes into overdrive.
Vaettra - This is true. And why Thor always says that eating this much is one of the hardest things. Luckily this is only in periods and not a whole year deal.
Jon Bjarnason Every top level strongman says it. Because its true. Look up Brian Shaw's video about eating 10k + kcals per day. He too says that eating is the hardest part. Pudz said the same thing too. Anyone who needs 10k+ kcal per day of food will agree that its hell.
nick, just saying that there's a reason many huge athletes look older than they are, and die young. Oxheart is also a known killer among steroid users.
Just out of curiosity, why did they need the hardware? I can understand the food of course, but the fridge, rice cookers, and microwave? Doesn't he have at least two of those at home already?
