My eyes lit up when I saw your notification Billy and as usual you didn't disappoint. Well done on the 2 monsters and kissing the doggy, next time it's on the lips 😃 Thanks for sharing you session and the work you put in editing the vids, much appreciated.
Fantastic Billy! What a session, it`s the first time I`ve seen shore caught Hake. The thing that`s puzzling me is how are you managing to fish in a tee shirt at night in a Norwegian Winter? I`m putting it down to Adrenalin bringing on a state of euphoria because of all those big Hake being around! Great stuff, lets have some more!
When cleaning up the hake (called merluza here in Spain) heads for the stock pots etc at work, it never ceases to amaze me what they have got going on in their gobs Rows and rows of razors which if they graze you it can get infected quite easily. Not nasty, just very uncomfortable for a day or 2 Respect!
Brilliant video thanks Brother Billy! Congrats again on the 1k Subs! Nice brace of fish there - I bet they will taste great! Always a good Craic when you upload a video! Stay safe & well. 👍👍😁😁
A cracking night's fishing there Billy lad... 3 really nice fish, well done brother well done and congrats on on the 1000 sub's Great video as always mate...
Well done brother on a great night fishing, with 2 very nice hake . Congratulations on 1000 subs I am in Cornwall at the moment and had all most 2weeks of gale force winds. Did get 2hr mackerel trip with son and grandson got about 100 all filleted and frozen for baits for the winter. Better than nothing.
Thanks so much Stephen, yes a night to remember 😁. It's the way it goes sometimes , lots of effort , and all you get is a glass of very fishy lemon first aid 😀, that you had to make yourself. The next time you will get a big one , with all that nice bait. tight lines Brother 😁👍
Hi G man, any time. Do they make 3 piece travel kayaks 😁🤪. Did you see your man, who cought the Greenland shark from a yak up in Tromsø, he needed help ,the big girl😂🤣. thanks Graham, any time lots tackle ready to go 👍👌
Great Channel Billy, I hope it goes from strength to strength.. It's interesting that people are referencing you in their own videos. Keep it up mate and tight lines.
Well you have caught 2 different fish that I've never had (1) HAKE (2) HADDOCK, I've caught them in the trawlers nets but not on rod and line ...so good on you billy 🥃😊✌️☮️🎣🎣🎣🎣
@@Billyfishing_watch cheers buddy yeah I've had a go today had some great fun with the schoolie BASS both on baits and small lures good ol' Eddystone eels nothing bigger than 1./ 8 LBS but awesome fun 7 fish 🐟🐟🐟🐟 = lures 🐟🐟🐟 = King Ragworm and squid I was hoping for a plaice being nice and sunny 🌞 but no dice ☹️ but a grand day finished off with a pint 🍺😊✌️🎣🎣🎣
@@Billyfishing_watch I have bought an immaculate used 525 mag 2. Not used a multiplier for 40 years.. I am 65 :-). I love it. Sooo smooth to cast with.. Fixed spools just feel wrong now lol. very crude and you still get line tanges with loops jumping off the spool. Multipliers are a joy.. good for the soul..
Thanks Carl, I try a lot of different ways to cook them, but just frying them is best, they taste is somewhere between a chicken burger and a steak 🤣😂👌👍
Love it mate! This is one fish that's high on my bucket list and after my next trip to Norway in June I'm going to be planning one where Hake are high on the agenda but from a boat! I'm made up for you that after all your hard work you were rewarded with two cracking Hake plus the nice Haddock and Whiting 😉🇧🇻🇧🇻🇧🇻🎣👌
Hey Billy great videos and Ive convinced the missus to head towards Vaksdal in April or May and because Ive never been in Norway I was just wondering if you could help. would I have to be closer to the sea for your type of spinning or would I be likely to catch fish this far in the fjord. Ill be travelling light with a spinning rod and some lures.
Hi Alan, there is not all ways so much oxygen in the water far back in the southern fjords, so it would be best, to head out towards Bergen. There is some great fishing there. Tight lines Brother 👍😁
Haha I've just sold the house and I'm coming back to Wales 😁and I'm going to start a RU-vid channel so I'm looking for some help on editing? I'm going to buy a hero 9 gopro can you recommend anything brother 🙏
I use a GoPro too, the best advice I can give you is , find your style and the mood you like and go from there, it not easy ,hard work ,a 15min vid will take me about 10, to 15 hours to cut that's the magic right there
No probs, You can get that exact rod, but there many more like it, just let me know what price range you are thinking, and I will help find something 👌😁 , I'm fishing in Europe, you upderstand😁.
