Great presentation.. I wish I myself had been properly treated for short stature as a child.. Because it bothered me so much, my doctor at the time in 1996 when I was 15 years old agreed to send me to a pediatric endo who found low thyroid as I found out later (because he was more talking to my mother than me) and borderline low growth hormone but treated neither 😢 I do remember him saying that I fell out of the mid parental range of my parents though so that should have been more than a clue something was off.. So the endo apparently sent the high TSH results to my family doctor who also didn’t do anything and I found out later at age 18 when I finally was able to start thyroid meds.. I was a little overweight before taking thyroid meds and had delayed puberty but managed to make it 5’ feet tall and have dealt with rude comments about my height all my life and have felt less attractive because of being so short especially because it was due to a health condition that could have easily been treated early on🤦🏼♀️
