Hey Brad! I'm pretty new to building 3D metal models - only have a few done so far, and moved on to one that's FAR too challenging for my current skill level (Metal Earth Drogon model from Game of Thrones - building the neck is kicking my butt). I'm looking forward to learning from you and picking your brain for tips on how to build models. I've got a TON of models I've bought, and I'm very much looking forward to working my way through them. Good luck with the move, and getting everything set up in the new house - and congrats on that - you should be proud!
Brad hope you are well and family hope move goes smoothly with not too many breakages. Would you do the airfix modelling as well as metal earth. All the best Ben Johnston from England
I have owned two houses. One in Maryland for about five years and one in California for over forty years. My best advice is to have everything checked out, wiring, incoming water pipes, sewer pipes, foundation, roof, insulation, etc. Make a plan to fix or upgrade everything that might need it in the future. The one regret I have with my current house is that I did not do this and have paid a lot more to have things fixed when they finally failed years later.
Hi Brad, great news about your new house, congratulations. Looks like you have your work cut out with the move, wish I could come help. I’m sure you’ll get there ok. Cheers from down under.
Hello Brad. Congrats on the new house! I too have shaky hands and find building these small models both challenging but also relaxing. It seems to help calm my shakiness down some as I learn to control my movements during the build. I'm a retired USAF guy so I know what's it like moving. The boxing, living out of boxes, and moving can be stressful. Just take it slow and easy as you move into your new home and unpack. Best of luck and will be waiting for your next video. Thanks!
Good luck Brad with your new venture in buying your own house. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason, and it is definitely your time to own your own house. There is nothing like owing your own home, as you can do whatever you want with it. I am sure things will work out for you. There is nothing wrong about being frugal and you should never need to be ashamed of, or apologise. After all, it is because of this, that you are able to buy your own house; well done! You SHOULD be very proud of yourself, despite your previous poor health; you pulled through and got yourself back into the full swing of life. I am always in awe of someone like you and in your own words “keep on keeping on”. I will be keeping a lookout on your progress. Take care.
