The Carbon Cub was bone stock besides suspension... now it's time to dabble in making that engine put out a little more thrust. This propeller made a HUGE difference!

I have been re-watching old Cleetus episodes and came upon the race week vids that got George canned from his previous employer. I love George on this channel so much and it is amazing to see him happy, thriving and appreciated at McFarland Racing. This should be a lesson to everyone that if you receive a “no” from one place in life, don’t worry. There is a place out there that will value and respect your contribution. Keep moving forward, my friends. 🛫

@Rosko311
@Rosko311 Год назад
I didn't know that Jeremy fired George, I always thought George just quit to go work for Garrett. But its pretty obvious Jeremy & Laz are still mad about the whole situation. It's also kinda weird how Cooper disappeared about the same time George was hired & we don't ever see Cooper or Jeremy in any of the videos, & they don't participate in any of Cleetus's events. But I will say bringing George on board was 1 of the best decisions Garrett made.

That prop is a good fit for your airplane. Just remember, max climb on take off looks cool, but your setting your self up for disaster when (not if) you experience an engine failure on take off. Best to pop it off the ground and relax the climb out. Have fun, just don't set yourself up to fail.

I'm so proud of Cleetus. I started following when he pulled that lightning struck beautiful Corvette we know as Ruby from an auction, and he's done so much since then. Cars are a passive passion of mine, but aviation is 100% something I'm into so seeing cleet get a good ol' bush flight plane and fly it with absolute confidence is like having two of my passions collide head to head. I absolutely adore this channel.

@kiwidiesel
@kiwidiesel Год назад
Garrett, just keep in mind when you are doing a max performance take off like that where by you are hanging off the prop, your margin for error is very very small if your engine either coughs or quits completely. Your time available to push that nose down to prevent a wing stall is extremely limited. Flying is fun but it is a hard mistress if not paid due respect and margin for error.
