Mike and Mark Patey will be so proud of the ambassadorship that you guys are representing the flying community. Trent Palmer will love the storytelling of your video. And the Lawn Mower III at 22:07 is owned, maintained, and flown by a guy named Hal Stockman, he is a mechanical genius, especially with Rotax engines. You have to have some conversations with Hal. Hal is a madman! His engine hucked a rod on his way to Oshkosh a couple years ago and he put it down on a dirt road, had a friend fly his spare rotax out to him, he installed it, made it to Osh, competed in the STOL events, and then flew it home! Nothing but respect for him.

Bought a high performance rotax motor from Hal 5 years ago Had overheating problems with it sent it back to him he sent it back to me moreover eating problems he told me send that motor back and I'm sending you your money back class act guy Still stay in contact with him today and still buy parts from him And I would put him against anybody in competition

Ol' Cleetus is my favorite person to watch on RU-vid. He is living the car guys dream while giving back so much to the community, it's pretty amazing. Also, the hangar looks sick. Even with just the carbon cub and the c7 it looks pretty awesome. Edit: we need more Maddie on the channel! She is so sweet and chill and it's awesome to see y'all together. Up here inbthe north east they spray the logs to help the bark fall off mostly. After the bark is off the bugs dont bother them too much. Thats mostly white pine though

Logs are sprinkled to provide a method of reducing checking, sapwood stain, and decay. Sprinkling will not prevent certain insect attack, although it tends to be more effective than dry land storage. The very first drag strip I ever raced on was Carlyle Dragway. It started life as a crop duster air strip. Timing setup was mostly mobile. I might be able to make it out there to see this. My son just lives 10 miles from there.

The wrap looks great. Mirror the stripes on top of the wings would complete it. That was a paper mill and the feilds with the "swerves" were hay feilds. Those were wind rows of cut grass ready to be baled.

Cleetus, as somebody who lives to go fast, pilot to pilot, look at a Mooney! It’s the race car of the sky brother. All seriousness, it’s a great plane to cruise high speed on a single engine with killer fuel burn and can allow for Rip to tag along as he gets bigger. Been flying one for 4 years now and it’s a drag “car” of the sky. Fly safe brother!
