Thank you very much. It did leave me with one Q: say I have a 30 sec clip like yours that I want to run at double the speed or manipulate its time in such a way that eventually what I want to finally have is 15 seconds - 7.5 seconds counting up to the 15 sec and than moving back - based on what you showed - easy peasy. but how do i not "trim the time-remaped video" to have a real time of only 15 sec ? and not the original 30?

I haven't used Shotcut for over a year (busy with other projects) so I'm a bit rusty. One possiblity would be to export the clip to one of the "LOSSLESS" video formats, then import this and speed it up 2x.

Why go to all the trouble of adding a narrative and then drown it with distracting noise. If I really don't want to hear what you have to say i can always mute the video, or to make it more 'challenging' I could sit by a busy road. Please, PLEASE STOP adding this unnecessary, distracting noise to otherwise helpful videos.
