I like the program, but this method is insanely tedious if my goal is to extract many small clips from the source file. How about adding an "A ---> B" clip-function?
Sir Im facing a technical problem . After export completed , the exported video shows only audio clip , no video only black sreen is showing .please help me sir to solve this problem.

The video is in very low resolution and it looks very blurry. You should make videos in HD (Translated from Spanish to English by the Google translator)
It was a quick tutorial for a question on the forum intentionally using the default Shotcut layout and window size. This operation is simple; you do not need to see a lot of detail for it.
I have troubles while exporting videos. If i try to export in .mp4, or avi and so on it exports only audio and not video! Both if the audio track is inside the video track and if the audio track is out of the video track. The only format that works is WMV but for some works .mp4 is essential. Have you any tip?
It is because you are in the Project tab of the player instead of Source. You can also extract sub-clip of a clip on the Timeline after selecting it or to Copy from Timeline to Source.
Hi, i'm having truoble in exporting the video. so i click in the button export and then it doesn't let me do anything, an export help tab comes and then it says that it should be like that, but it also says you can reset it from the left. BUT WHERE IS THAT!!!! (Be more specific) i want to upload a video to RU-vid but it is a MLT file and you can't upload it with that file

@@ShotcutApp this does not work. I click the clip. I press the "copy" button. I go to the Source window where it is indeed marked in red. When I press export and export from source it exports the beginning of the video, 20 minutes ago in the project, except sped up x4 (the individual clip I selected which I'm trying to export is sped up x4)
There is a bug in this area that requires restarting the app (not reinstall). Learn to open things in the Source player and use Timeline toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts to add shots to the timeline.
The Text filter has a bunch of presets for various simple animations. You need to use Keyframes for more advanced and custom animations. Also, you can now make a Text clip (File > Open Other) and then add various filters possibly with keyframes to achieve various effects. Of course, more capabilities will be added over time.
