A friend of mine has purchased one of these setups and we are going out to the 600/1000 yard range tomorrow to set it up and try it out. It is going to be a good learning experience for me and (hopefully) I will get the opportunity to use it a little and to see how "usable/practical" it seems to be for me before I actually sink nearly $1000 into buying one myself. (That kinda money may be a little crazy, but, HEY, you can't take it with you when you leave this life, RIGHT?) I would like to have something like this to use at ranges beyond 300 yards as spotting shots at longer distances can get to be tough, ESPECIALLY during the warmer times of the year when the mirage can make it extremely difficult no matter HOW GOOD the optics are on your spotting scope!
I’m planning on getting back into service rifle competitions and noticed that the closest (120miles) ranges is utilizing your system. Having been away from the sport for so long, should I pass on purchasing a spotting scope and stand ? Thank you for any advice you can share.
Rene Ramirez a spotting scope is great for reading mirage, but an electronic target will provide so much more value for practicing, being able to record and score every shot, measure groups, save strings for later, without needing to worry about the paper target. I don’t use a spotting scope for F class since I just zoom out on my rifle scope to read mirage on every shot.
DEAR ADAM, HOW TO PROTECT THE SENSORS FROM THE BULLET?? AND DOES YOUR SHOTMARKER GİVE TO US İNFORMATİON AT 2000 MT? İF İT İS NOT, CAN WE STRENGTHEN İT WİTH ANY SYSTEMS? CAN WE GET PRİNT? AND THE OTHER QUESTİON ; DATA OF YOUR SOFTWARE FROM AT LEAST 5 TARGETS AND SHOOTING RESULTS CAN BE DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN AT THE SAME TIME? WELL THE LAST QUESTİON; CAN THE SOFTWARE SIGN THE SHOOT NUMBER OF SHOOTS AT LEAST 10 SHOOTS FOR EACH TARGET IT SHOWS ON THE SCREEN? ı HAVE MORE QUESTİONS ON MY MİND, THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWERS NOW..
I think the only way to protect sensor is place them under the target. You can refer to the solution at: www.vinashoot.com or ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PfhQnRFvbbY.html
