Hello from Germany. I drive an A-Class too. I really enjoyed this video .. watched it twice .. I love your accent which is very charming. The A-Class is underrated, in long term it’s better than one might expect. People quickly forget its a more than 8 years old construction.. keeping that in mind it aged very well to my mind. It’s very safe, is built with good materials and workmanship, drives very dynamic but still comfortable. It’s true that the A-Class has the smallest boot but I personally had no problems yet.

Defo worth the money. I've got a 2014 1.5 amg sport and I'm in love with it. Technically it's my 3rd card but would would recommend one to a younger driver if they had the extra cash to afford one 😁 They look amazing and if you opt for the amg sport model they look better than bmw 1 series or audi a3 of similar year
I used to drive an A180 as my first car and I loved it loads but recently upgraded to the A45 and its an absaloute dream car, very thirsty but its a 360 bhp so it's expected! Couldn't recommend a car any more, worth the money

Yeah depends really, there is a lot of variables that go into insurance not just age. I would do a mock quote on go compare for an a180 and see how much it comes too.
I’m 17, 18 in April and I hope to get a new A class on lease for 3 years at Christmas this year. Do you think it’s not a good first car or you should wait until your say 20 plus?
I think it depends on your budget and how confident you are. If your budget is tighter then I’d wait a few years as insurance can be tough, the best thing to do is a mock insurance quote online to see how much roughly it will be! Hope that helps! 🙌🏼

Hey bro I have seen you A3 video aswell and I am hesitating to buy one of these, I really like mercedes its my favorite car brand but I also like the A3, its damn good. What do you think, which one should I pick/choose? I am really curious what you think about!!
What do you mean by semi-automatic? A semi-automatic in my book is a gearbox in which you have to shift but there's no clutch for you to handle. The A class on the other hand has an automatically-shifting dual clutch transmission with shifting paddles. That's not a semi-automatic because you can drive it fully-automatic. Also, take good care of the leatherette in the interior (if it's Artico/MB-Tex - it looks like it). We had a car in the family with it for roughly 6 years and it held up very well. But it likes its leatherette care products.
@@Connor8ness Thanks. Though it looks as if our understandings of that term differ by a lot. With your definition, almost every car with a torque converter, CVT or DCT would be semi-automatic as it has paddles or another way to shift "manually" (e.g. with the shifting lever). But you don't have to shift, the system call do it all by itself. And that's my point.
It depends really, if your looking for excitement then I would choose the Audi because it is quicker :) The road noise is much better in the merc! Hope that helps!
Audi A3 or A class. I’d take the Audi. A class has a lot of tacky plastics and build quality is inferior to the Audi A3. You cannot really call the a class a proper mercedes when it’s lugging a Renault engine as the heart lol. The chassis balance is no good or the offset driving position in comparison to the Audi A3. I own none of these little cars but Audi is by far the pick of the bunch!
@@WillBrownCars I don’t think it was as bad as he describes it. Also they they improved the overall feel (quality) with the facelift. Most engines are completely engineered by Mercedes-Benz. Those who use Renault parts where optimized by Mercedes-Benz i.e. the software.
@@achppa1844 I only say that because they a 1 and a class are both the “beginner” car in their respected brands. And in my opinion look rather “ girly “
