I noticed the 1le suspension package which includes magnetic ride control is it worth getting ? Or just opting for MRC by itself ? Ill be getting a 2019 2ss 10speed auto im kinda waiting on the refresh fix...
Mag ride is totally worth it. I think the 1le is a great deal but if you plan to mod the suspension skip it but if you don't get it. The pieces work great together
@@MojaveKY the 1le is way more then mag ride and suspension. You also got the fat tires, duelmode exhaust, bigger brakes, a e-lsd and most importantly oil,trans and dif coolers. It's a HELL of a package
Hey I bought a Chevrolet Camaro 2016 ss with mag control. Now it’s time to change my shocks and I was wondering am I able to replace it with shocks without magnetic ride control?
I test drove both with MRC and without before I got my car. the difference is substantial. MRC is definitely the way to go for daily driving and cruising. The car without MRC was stiff in all modes and you could feel every bump and dip in the road. If you are only using the car for racing then MRC really isn't a option you would need.
I drove a Cadillac with magnetic ride control, and didn't notice a damn thing that makes it any better than the competitions suspensions. It's certainly nothing even remotely comparable to the S-class air ride that keeps the car level at all times on all surfaces. MRC is a clever gimmick to ensnare suckers into paying more money for bullshit.
The ferraris uses magnetic suspension too:) In my country just a Ferrari car cost WITHOUT any tax ,insurance,cert,and many hell more etcs the cheapest ferrari california around sgd900k++ with all bullshit required probably gonna be sgd$1.1m . Old model ferrari 458,599GTB,F12 etcs $sgd1.1M to $1.8M car cost without tax,cert,insurance,many more bullshit forced to pay and pay. A latest sgd$1.1M huracan use that magnetic suspension too.
1 stupid car 10years valid period in my country you can buy 3-6 cars in many other countries for life time. 1 Toyota altis = 2 porsche / 3 bmw / 3 audi / 3 benz overseas. 1 lambo = 3-4 lambor 1 ferrari = 3-5 ferrari 1 ND mx5 = 5 ND mx5 i could crash and crash and crash and crash and fuck it get a spare one parking in my estate in most other country without much thoughts on $ like options or super/hypercar since its lifetime in most country rather than 10years

MojaveKY for sure! been financially planning for a hot minute now and the only things i needed to hash out were my options, specifically the more expensive ones like this. ive been watching other videos as well to round out my opinion and from what ive seen it is worth it for those that choose to get it.
Once I saw it on the ZL1 I wanted it (and the ZL1). So when the 16 was announced with it as an option I was pumped ! Now I got to work on that ZL1, someday, someday
This explains nothing. Magnetic ride is advertised to 'read the road' and change behavior accordingly a gazillion times per second. If all it does is change stiffness with the mode driver selects, how is it better that a regular variable stiffness shocks, like ones I had in 2010 BMW 535i ???
