Having worked with primary kids for over 31 years, I've seen the damage these phones have done. We had 10 year olds up skirting girls with their phones, and we had bullying on line. I am really behind this ban. A simple nokia with just a facility to ring or text should be the only device for 13 year olds up - as they become more independent and need to contact parents. We wouldn't let children access porn sites on tvs or top shelf in shops, nor do they have access to cigarettes and alcohol. Tik tok and influencers on all these social media sites are horrific.
