So let's talk about these guardian caps... I'm calling that they become "mandatory" for all Defensive players. Anything that makes it even a tiny bit harder for the QB to see downfield, or a receiver to find the ball in the air will become META. The more "field of view" taken up by an opponents helmet, the harder it is for all involved to complete the pass. If the helmets are all 3" wider it makes a difference in visibility. I bet completion rates drop a tiny bit too...

With the new kick return rules, I'd seriously consider Fields as a returner if for nothing else than to be able to throw a lateral to Patterson or CA3.
