If Justin Fields had a better completion percentage - he’s just over 60 - and a better TD-2-INT ratio - he’s 4:3 - then we wouldn’t be discussing this. He’s been in the league three years and by now you would really like to see 67 and 3. I mean, Brock Purdy is there with a passer rating over a 100 and one Super Bowl played after two years, and within a breath of another the year prior. Now naturally Fields is REALLY fast and that ironically works against him. But with Justin’s numbers I’m seeing a receiver who wants to be a quarterback and not the other way around.

That would make sense if he was a franchise qb. Big diffrence between lamar and feilds. Lamar can pass for more then 150 yrds a game. Actually play qb in 4th wuarter actually win games. Feilds hasnt done any of that. So back to the stupid comparisons like when feilds was in chicago

I thought Pittsburgh was going to be a serious organization, but they aren't. First, this is an organization the last 3 or 4 years where the starter couldn't play the entire season. But it's a good idea to make your backup QB a gimmick kick returner. Wilson will be 36 this season and statistically the odds are against him health-wise. Also, it's okay to be wise with your money and make sound decisions. But the Steelers are cheap. They do not pay their important skill players. It's okay to offer Wilson or Fields $12 million a year. It's okay to give a top 7 RB in the NFL $7 million. Being cheap has got the Steelers what? They have not won a playoff game since 2016. Finally, I hope Fields requests a trade. If he does kick return or WR for any plays this year his career as an NFL QB is over (look at Craig Carton just disrespecting Fields as a person). Which is probably what Steelers want so they can pay him as a kick returner and not a QB. If Steelers told Tomlin, you aren't winning playoff games but you are a great speaker. We will use you as our PR guy and not coach. Tomlin would tell them to f off. This is what they are doing to Fields. Next years draft class is not great, there are a lot of aging QBs in the NFL. I hope Fields sits the bench and serves this one year sentence as a Steeler. Some team will pay him something next year and actually use him as a QB not a gimmick player.

Love that everybody thinks Russ is good to go even though Russ had more talent 2 years ago on the Broncos then he does now on the Steelers. Does anybody remember what Russ did two years ago with a more talented roster, HE DID NOTHING LOL.
