WE NEVER KNOW WHERE THESE HURRICANES ARE GOING TO TRAVEL TO. WE LIVE ON TAMPA BAY IN CLEARWATER, FL..........AND WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF IT....LOOKS LIKE IT IS GOING TO GO RIGHT OVER US. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE PEOPLE AND EVACUATED TO CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN CENTRAL FLORIDA. TORNADOES ARE THE WORST. YOU GUYS STAY SAFE AND SOUND CAUSE I THINK THAT IT IS COMING YOUR WAY.........WE ARE STANDING STRONG.......
Hi there just to let you know that rabbits and gardens don't mix well. I have a rabbit that has free range of our small garden during the day, I also have 2 1/2 Foot high raised beds, my bunny can jump into these beds and was found snacking away on my plants. I have now had to put wire mesh up to 4 feet to keep him out of the beds. Thank you all for sharing your wonderful farm and lives with us.
We're in Western NC. We are okay. We were on the eastern edge of Helene's destructive path, so we had trees down everywhere and some flooding, but 35-40 minutes west and northwest of us the destruction was horrible. Flooding was worse than the wind. All the water Helene dumped flowed down from the mountain tops down into the hollers and it was just too much water for the creeks and rivers to handle all at once. It's going to be a long, slow process of recovery. We are praying for everyone affected by Helene and praying for Florida as Hurricane Milton barrels down on them.
Jason, you have The sharpest memory ever! This banter about what animal to get was hilarious! To me, chickens make most sense and most useful. Looking forward tothis garden patch!
Watching the replay from near College Station, TX. I've never had chickens but have had a few rabbits...all Flemish Giants. My Honey bunny I got as a baby who fit in the palm of my hand but by the time he stopped growing he was over 3ft. long and weighed 40 lbs! He was litter box trained and friendly as can be.
@@marygatdula2744. But one almost knocked down the Bay Bridge. I was there during 1989. Our little 3 story apt building was held up by the bigger buildings on either side.
@SuzanneWho Yes. That was the biggest and worst I'd ever experienced by far. It was super scary and a terrible, heart-wrenching several days! I certainly won't ever forget it.
@@marygatdula2744 Hate to say it but California is due for another big one. Those plates shifting and building up pressure has to go somewhere! Hope I’m totally wrong. 😎
Hi from western North Carolina! I am fine but so many are not. The devastation is unreal! Please 🙏 pray for those affected😢. So glad you and the animals were not affected!
Our primary residence is Vanderbilt Beach, Naples, FL. We are still in Exeter, New Hampshire at our Summer residence. Our friends in Florida in full distress. Pray for our SW Florida, thanks all!
@@faithrada We are scheduled to return a week from tomorrow. We have learned from Hurricane Ian, we might not be able to return as scheduled as we lost our car, our garage, our condo pool and we had a red sticker on our residence that prohibited entry. Fingers crossed and prayers that this is not an instant replay, as our condo is not fully back in business today from Ian, but dot want this ghoulish storm to hurt anyone, but it will. So sad, so sorry!
I'm always happy with anything you do. I love all of your critters and I love you both, MaryCarl and your Mom even though I rarely see her. Far as I'm concerned, everything you do is wonderful.💙🤗💙
Hey Brooke and Jason I would never tell you guys what your doing wrong because I wouldn't have a clue. I watch and learn every time CogHill Farms is on I have truly fallen in love with all of the animals at CogHill Farms. I can no longer pick out a favorite animal. Loretta cracks me up. Peaches well she will always have my heart.Moody is the puppy dog I never had. And Topper is just a handsome guy that does not do anything wrong . I Love his beard . Topper is Welcome here at my house anytime. Robyn
I just want to say from the bottom of my heart Thankyou for all the AWESOME CARE you guys give all the animals at CogHill Farms. LOVE you guys to the moon and back ❤❤❤❤❤🎉!!!!
Good evening from East Texas....I shot my age in golf today, which is 72....so a great day for me. I am blessed to be in good health at 72...praying for Hurricane victims in GA, TN, NC, and FL.That was one expensive goal post...just sayin...:(
Im having breaded shrimp with noodle salad. And you set it for me I am a true southerner and need to get back there because I can live without grilled cheese sandwiches.
I would love to see you get some sweet little bunnies! Prayers going out for everyone in the path of this hurricane, and for all those still suffering from the destruction in Georgia, NC, Tenn, and sadly Florida, previously.
All LIVES from CHF channels are great! Of course all pre-recorded videos are also great. That definitely has a lot to do with Brooke and Jason - they are THE VERY BEST! Their babies reflect their personalities - unless Peaches is in a 'mood', of course.
I called our Mayor about residents in our RV and Mobile Home Park not having transportation to Shelters. He was wonderful. He connect me with some help. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE MAYOR OF WINTER HAVEN, Fl. AND OUR WINTER HAVEN POLICE CHIEF MONROE FOR OFFERING TRANSPORTATION TO ANY LOCAL SHELTER. ITS SO REASSURING KNOWING WE ARE SO PROTECTED!!!
WE ARE IN CLEARWATER, FL. AND WE HAVE THE SAME SUPPORT FROM POLICE, FIREMEN, VOLUNTEERS AND UBER IS OFFERING FREE RIDES TO SHELTERS. WE ARE ALSO GOING TO HAVE THE WORST OF IT TONIGHT. I HOPE ALL ARE WELL AND SAFE. WE ARE STAYING AND NOT EVACUATING. I HAVE LIVED IN THIS HOUSE FOR SOMETHING LIKE 43 YEARS AND BEEN THRU ALL OF THE PREVIOUS HURRICANES WITH NO DAMAGE....WE ARE ON TAMPA BAY BUT ON A HILL WAY ABOVE SURGES.........OUR NEIGHBORS ACROSS THE STREET ARE C LEVEL THO AND WE ARE WATCHING OUT FOR THEM. PRAYING FOR ALL HERE AND IN N.C. AND ALL THE STATES AFFECTED BY HELEN. I HAVE ALWAYS HATED THE NAME MILTON....LOVE YOU ALL.
Hey Brooke I have part Flemish Giants living in a very large 300 by 300 by 300 chicken yard they get along great. The Flemish Giants are very docile and pet friendly and they have never dug out of there area. They are out all year long with the ten hens and one rooster I have. They are not destructive.
Fellow Hoosier, here, by the Dunes/Lake Michigan. We are at risk of tornadoes & snow-ice storms but Hurricanes, floods, mud slides seem especially scary. Cog Hill Farm is my hapoy place- sure need it today
Continuing prayers for All affected by Helene and, now, Milton 🙏🏾🙏🏽🙏 EVERY AMERICAN WILL BE AFFECTED BY THESE STORMS FOR YEARS... cotton, pecans, peaches, dairy, livestock.... Transport prices... So much more. 🙏🏾🙏🙏🏽 Amen
I've been thinking of your fencing problem. I went on Amazon and entered "fences without digging holes". Found several kinds of fences mostly metal that had built-in spikes. Also a post repair kit that anchors a post by propping it up from the surface . Also ark soldier thickened at Home Depot. I also remember my father putting down cement blocks that came with a hole shaped for a post. He built a boat house on a pile of rocks using that method. Since your fence is not going to have to be very strong (no giant bulls in the protege garden), I think one of these products might work for you.
Y’all are precious! Thank you for not bringing up politics. I love everyone. Don’t matter what party. I just love y’all’s love for the animals. I keep you running in the background so I don’t feel like I’m here all alone like I am. I’ve learned a few things & have a bunch of grins & even a couple of knee slappers. You’re such a good couple & you both are part of my life now. Keep it going! ☮️❤
We had a pet tortoise when I was little and we lived in CA. He would hibernate and we thought he ran away, but in the spring he would dig up out of the yard.
Charlotte , North Carolina praying hard for all those dealing with recovering from Helene. People who have lost everything are serving their brothers and inters. Wonderful to see that. God bless them.
Flemish babies are awesome! I adopted my 1st Flemish as a new baby. He fit in the palm of my hand. By the time he passed away he was 40 lbs. and over 3ft. long 😂
Hi from Leland, NC by way of Long Beach, NY. Have been watching for 2 years. I love your channel. Your channel and Arms family are 2 of my favorites along with the Morrow hill channels.
Love you guys. I am watching the replay tonight instead of live. As a Tennessee fan, we are suffering the same fate this week. You know we put the goal post in the river in Knoxville too. Oh well, we will be seeing each other soon.
It's amazing how phones and TVs have changed over the years. When I was growing up we had a rotary phone that sat on a table. Then we graduated to a push button hung on the wall.😂❤
Oh my goodness! I have family and friends, a lot of them, that either can’t or won’t leave! I have prayed so much, I just hope that they will listen to God!
I’m watching the replay. I’m from Portland, Oregon and I have been and am continuing to pray for all those affected by these horrific hurricanes. Y’all take care and be safe. ✝️🛐🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🛐✝️
I live in Tampa and hunkering down. We wont leave our fury family. Even if we wanted to we cant. Roads are congested and there is ZERO gas from here to Georgia.
I think Brook would absolutely fall in love with her Giant rabbit!!! I can see a palace and every wonderful thing to make that rabbit happy ! I can hardly wait . Come on Brook ,please get a Giant Flemish Rabbit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Prayers from Oregon for Florida and the east coast. Bunnies AND Silkies (one pair each.) Talking about the goalpost getting thrown in the river made me think of this song: The Four Lads: The New Years Eve we did the town The day we tore the goal post down We'll have these moments to remember
I saw cable for first time in ‘80 or 81 in Chicago area. I had one weekend of discovering this at my dad’s house with new wife. I was in house sitting. I binged on tv like never before. It burnt me out. I was 22ish.
You have proven to be entertaining and keep us our tension on you.I think you choose what you wish to live with rabbits or chickens.Or maybe both, but it's still your choice. We love to watch you anyway
I would hatch your own eggs if you don't mind having roosters.🐣🐓 I love watching your chickens it brings back soon many happy memories. We had chickens for 34 years until it became too much for us due to I'll health.x
Bonney Lake, Washington. Love ❤️ you both. I learn and laugh every day. I ran across a couple guys hatching Emu eggs. I think one was an Emu farmer. Check it out, seems like a lot of work. I say let Nugget sit (might try hatching a couple?). Praying 🙏 for all the people affected by the hurricanes. 🐇🐰🐔🐓🐣 First time commenting. Been watching since the little farm.
Praying for the people in Florida, the storm surge around Tampa will be horrible as it's below sea level. After this one I heard there is another one coming to the East Coast.
Switzerland here, but former Oklahoman. Really scared about Florida, as I watch two other youtubers that are right there and just can`t imagine another Helene damage situation. Continually thinking and praying for all of them.
Yes, please on the Fleming Rabbit! We may require a camera when you get the play-land set up with silkies, rabbits and you may want a tortoise as well for the playground!!!
You may want to double think Rabbits. Even dwarf rabbits when fully mature can jump 3 feet. You would have to re-fence everything higher than 42 inches.
I had rabbits and my oldest lived to 14 years! Love bunnies 🐰 🐰 🐰 I had 2 boys and a girl living together. She was SO mean and boxed the boys all the time. I gave her to a friend and the boys lived well together for 8 more years
Hi brooke my daughter had one. Every morning he would come down to the house, and watch TV with her . While having breakfast. Then do the same when she came home
My daughter's cat is a giant ginger. He lays across my lap in my LazyGirl and measures a yard long from nose to tail tip! He was 25#, but as he gets older, he lost a few. Still weighs a ton when he lays on my chest between my face and my laptop while in bed! Not the makings of a good window...
