I picked mine up just over a week ago. Best car I've ever driven. I keep finding excuses to go out for a drive. Sporty, fast, aggressive and feels like you're really in a supercar. Absolutely LOVE it
Did you have to pay the mark up price? I went over the weekend decided to get one, but one dealer offered at 20k and the second 10k above msrp. no way!! I walk away. imagine paying 75k in Los Angeles area.
I think the reason why Toyota is coming with a manual is because of the high demand for a manual from the car community and also to compete with their rival the new Nissan Z.
AMD, After joint ventures with Subaru and BMW, I suspect that many, many Toyota sports car fans are breathing a sigh of relief that the genuine Toyota GR Corolla is on the way to this market. Hopefully there will be more 'in-house' performance models coming in the future. As far as reliability is concerned, let's give the Supra another few years before we reach a final conclusion. 😁
Atleat the 86 is actually 50 toyota 50 Subaru. Toyota transmissions, Toyota fuel ejection system, then the 86 has a lot more Toyota tuning thay the brz doesn't have and lacks
Immature/Ghetto people will wreck the 2023 GR Corolla the day got it in the Fall 2022. It will be only 6500 will be produces. I will preorder it in August.
@@imports4lifetoyotalexus98 What????? What do you mean by ghetto?????? If it's what I think you're referring too you have the wrong channel. Everything I see and hear from AMD is respect and love. I think we need to keep that same vibe...
The good news is the b58 has been around since 2015. It's apparently one of the better bmw engines that has been made in production numbers. It's also been picked apart by Toyota to find any flaws they could. I have faith it's a great i6.
@@Mrpancake72 this. People don’t know that Toyota engineers took apart this B58 and ran their battery of tests on many of its parts. A BMW engine with Toyota’s reliability blessing? Yes please.
I have a 2022 - 3.0 premium (with red interior - Turbulence gray) and love it. The air buffering Is my my bigges concern. Above 40-50mph, you can't drive with window down. Ohh. And my iPhone fly out from the wireless charger every by single accelaration :D I had a BMW Z4 coupe e86 before. So I have no problem with the 99% BMW part. (and laughing at the JDM funboys, who never even owned a Supra, or any good car) This is a good car, that's the only thing matters. F the rest...
Wow, finally an unbiased and honest review of the Supra. I’ve had my '21' for a year now as a weekend car but could easily drive it everyday. Sports cars are never perfect cars, there will always be compromises. They are not made to be big and luxurious and hold 2 weeks of luggage. Its the perfect size for me. I’m older and it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. I can get an honest 35 mpg on the freeway, then drive like a bat out of hell. As you pointed out, this car would never exist had there not been a collaboration. The BMW engine is epic. At only 5000 units per year there will always be limited money in development to have everything you want, it just doesn’t make sense from a business aspect. That being said, I cringe every time I think of the Committee that approved 9 fake vents on a sports car, that at least half could have easily been functional, when some everyday cars have real ones. And we’re 4 model years into it, and they haven’t addressed the wind buffeting, ugly steering wheel that should be flat bottomed and thicker, the way too dim infotainment screen, the outdated infotainment, and maybe change the shifter knob to a real sports car look. How about updating the front and rear ends? If they want to compete with the new Z they have to do better. That being said, I love it, there is nothing on the market right now in this price range that I’d rather have. But the new Z has me wondering….
In a BMW the big old school 'radio preset' keys can be programmed to just about anything. It will be like that in the Supra as well. For instance you can program a key for a radio station but also to start the navigation system to navigate back home. Can also be used for all kind of vehicle settings and more.
Way too "Boy Racer" (fake vents etc.). Unfortunately it will fall apart, within a few years as all BMW's do and yes I speak from experience. BMW's uses a self destructing plastic and bio-degradable wiring that is special only to BMW.
Avoid this vehicle if you're a Toyota fan...is a 100 % german Z4 car with all the problems that follows it. The truth is Toyota didn't wanted to spend money to produce a real Supra MK5.. "It's just a 7 year contract with BMW" Nothing else.. And better no Supra...from this thing.. Choose instead Lexus for sports reliable car.
It's not a Supra to me, it essentially followed the Chrysler Crossfire recipe, which was a Mercedes SLK320 with a different body built at a German subcontractor. The Supra is a BMW Z4 with a different body built at a Austrian subcontractor. Same mechanicals and even the interior, Toyota did the exterior, "tuned" the suspension, and that's about it. I understand the reasoning for it, it wouldn't have existed otherwise, but I wished they at least used their own engine. I think their sales numbers would be much higher if there was more Supra in this "Supra".
IMO, even if this was 100℅ Toyota, almost nobody would buy it. It would be too expensive for most. Exactly what happened to the MK4. So it doesn't really matter.
@@damilolaakanni Have you seen the current auto market? Plenty of people are buying expensive vehicles these days, and the Supra isn't even at that level. I know plenty of potential buyers who bought something else after they realized what the "Supra" was, even more expensive vehicles from other brands.
@@gpaje That might be slightly coping. How many people are buying a r35 brand new from the factory? The r35's sell like shit from factory, at least in the states, and especially in recent years. Most people bought r35's used, if they can afford one at all, and if they can find a clean example of one. Granted, the r35 has not changed much for more than a decade since being released. If you think a $100k+ hypothetical MKV '3JZ' in house inline 6 from Toyota would sell, you're delusional, especially in the states, and especially when $100k+ brings you into a whole new realm of competition within the price range.
How ridiculous is it that a multi-billion dollar company like Toyota could not come out with a legitimate successor to the Mark 4? I would not buy one of these, no way no how. Modern BMWs are a money pit and the reliability of this car is still a huge question to be answered. If you want to BMW body BMW. If you want Japanese ingenuity, and that is a thing, it would have been so much better if they just made it themselves. They've got a lot of good stuff invested in Lexus performance cars that could have easily been crossed over to this vehicle. This was the lazy way out for Toyota and the lazy way of buying into a Supra that really isn't. Here's hoping that the Nissan z is everything it should be and that it teaches Toyota to build their own cars by out selling the hell out of it.
Hope you enjoyed driving the Supra for a week. I agree, having a Supra in the line up is better than not having one. Definitely not for the Camrolla crowd, who aren't enthusiasts per se. But yeah, I think I would be fine with a GR86 as GR Corollas are going to be unobtanium for most buyers.
What a great review. I have owned three MK3 Supras myself and I agree, that is my favorite generation. I miss those cars. I wish Toyota would add the classic Supra Targa Top back in the new Supra's. Maybe they will. AMD, you are truly the best!!
I had a 1988 MK3 turbo 5spd from 1990 to 2000, loved that car! Lost the head gasket at about 160k miles (overheated pretty badly). I was still on the original clutch even! (throw out bearing was getting noisy). Was a very reliable car, only issues I ever really had was starter replacement (what a bitch it is to do one), and clutch master cylinder. That was mostly my only failures until I lost the engine (that was mostly my fault, should had done the head gasket/studs upgrade at 90 or 100k... Replaced it in 2000 with a '99 Camry which I am still driving now at 335k miles, runs and drives perfect, only have done normal preventative maintenance items mostly! No major or odd failures, a few suspension / front end parts due to the high miles, 3 radiators, both cooling fan motors 3 or 4 valve cover gasket replacements, overhauled the throttle body / IAC, 2x all done myself in my driveway, very easy car to work on... I would never own a BMW product or design, or almost any European car really (besides maybe a old 126 chassis Mercedes tank, especially if it has the straight 6 gas, over the V8)... But I would really like to have another MK3 turbo stick, especially if it has a MK4 engine swap done well in it...
I sure enjoy your reviews of these vehicle, which I have no interest or would buy. But your video is so educational and informative, I watch them all just the same. Always looking forward to your next video and the shop progress. Keep up the good work and THANKS FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS IN THESE VIDEOS.
@@naveenthemachine I’m a Z car’s fan. I believe Toyota did some tuning to the engine and suspension too otherwise why would they bother but I could be wrong. ☮️
Sorry AMD! Out of all the videos you made this is the one I'm going to disagree. I love the car but I'm not digging the BMW motor in the car. I'm not a fan on German engineering at all. I don't think they will last like a true Toyota Motor would as a daily driver. If they do last, it's because people won't drive it as much like a daily driver would in my opinion. If I could afford the car, I wouldn't buy it at all. It's a beautiful car don't get me wrong but just not hyped on that BMW motor or any German Motors.
This is my opinion too. I was going to comment about how Amd talks Toyota reliability and all that. But rips so hard into the TRD Camry for giving a nice driving and fun/happy car without sacrificing all that makes Toyota great. But then this: Oh, all the stuff that makes TRD camry bad makes this car great without all the Toyota aspects? Yes, it drives like a Supra and is fun. But a Supra was good for more than just its drive. I have a joke TRD is more of a Supra than the Supra.
Hi! Honestly the old Supra that was 100% made by Toyota was not reliable compared to other toyota models of the time. This is a car segment that reliability is not high on the list if it is even on the list. The TRD Camry lacks significantly in the same way the corolla apex lacks. If Toyota comes up with a Camry that is similar to what the corolla GR is, then we’re talking. The corolla GR shares only some body structure and some interior things with the normal corolla. And that’s what they should’ve done with the Camry TRD. Something you might not know is that I pre ordered a Camry TRD when they were announced and didn’t buy it because of how it was. The Camry TRD does not drive like the Supra. even though they actually make somewhat close power figures. Many will say many things about the Supra until they drive one.
@@TheCarCareNut Yes, I bet it drives great and all like you say AMD but how about long term though? Do you honestly believe that BMW motors will last? Are they reliable like Toyota motors? I wouldn't take that gamble there. I would rather buy the TRD Camry over the Supra (if it was a toyota motors would probably buy it). I understand the TRD Camry are basically add-ons with exhaust, suspension making the car look better than the regular trim but we all know those cars will last. It's not like your going to race it or take it out to the track or something. Our neighbor had a BMW X5, bought it brand new and had too many problems so what did they do? Got rid of it and got a new 2022 Camry. I always hear bad things especially BMW and shoot, if you buy any of the BMW models eve. The extra warranty is so damn expensive because of repairs. Like I said, Supra is nice I like the exterior and interior but not underneath the good because it's a BMW motor which scares me in the long run. AMD I'm not trying to argue with you or anything like that but just don't trust BMW or any German engineering
@@jessebuenrostro2080 As a Toyota tech and a BMW owner at one point. Toyotas are easier to live with but BMWs are not as bad as what people say. I had a 328i and two 335i’s. They weren’t terribly unreliable and problems are actually predictable, all 3 needed a water pump and VCG at the exact same mileage and that aside the cars ran flawlessly. One had this weird electrical problem that only required a new battery. Can’t skimp on maintenance on those cars, Toyotas will handle that better.
After 28 years as a Euro Trash Tech I think I can say..... BMW builds NICE cars and Toyota builds GOOD cars. Someone once said, " if you breed a man with a dog you lower the standards of the dog and raise the standards of the man"....... The Supra is an odd mix and I hope it doesn't damage Toyota's reputation in the long run.
Your so right Ron, I am in the automotive service business myself. Electronics specifically, I deal with everything from Rolls Royce/Bentley to Kia (trying to think what's a cheap crap car these days, can't say that for the past 10 years about Kia anymore! LoL)... Worst things I have to deal with is any and all European cars. They are only good cars while they are under warranty. I always tell people you want one, lease one and give it back at the end of the lease then lease another car if you want another Euro car... I have had the same Toyota Camry for 21 years with 335k miles on it and only have had to do normal maintenance and minor things every car needs now and then (radiators, cooling fan motors, tie rod ends, bushings, valve cover gasket) that's about it and most I do myself in my driveway and I am done in a hour or less. Original starter, alternator, master cylinder, calipers, wheel bearings, exhaust system, engine sensors, ECU, and so on. No joke but 2 keys actually wore out and had to be replaced but not the car, engine or transmission! LoL... Keys are non electronic, no chips, so you can imagine how cheap that was at Lowe's to have keys cut!!! My '99 Camry is still nearly as quiet on the road as a Lexus LS430 I recently drove for a while... Can't beat it with a stick! Since a compression test I did last year showed all 4cyl are equal and still right at normal spec I am going to get it painted again! Dam paint and keys are the weak part of the car! 😂😂😂
26:36 When the Supera was being developed, Toyota sent some 200,000+ engineering changes back to BMW as they did not meet Toyota's durability and reliability requirements. It really ticked BMW off and they'll likely never collaborate again. The BMW Z4 would be the only BMW I would ever consider buying thanks to Toyota!
No- 2021+ burn oil BADLY (1 qt every 700-1,000 miles) and Toyota doesn't know how to work on BMW vehicles. Toyota Corporate promised a TSB to address by March 2022 and that never happened. They have 1-2 techs given a 3 day training course per dealership and they have mostly academic knowledge. They rarely work on the vehicles, know little about them and it suffers from the same problems as any other BMW. Getting service on this vehicle is a nightmare in present day, including scheduling availability limited to that 1 tech- imagine this 5-10 years from now when they aren't selling it (it's gone in a few years). To add further insult to injury, the ECU is still locked on these 2 years later despite being a "tuner's car". I have a friend with a '22 that's burning oil.
Interesting review of the newest generation of Supra. Alas I am still disappointed, if I wanted a BMW. I had two earlier generations of Supra and the Toyota straight six was fantastic in its performance and reliability. Not convinced about that for BMW.
@@andybub45 who is wanting a car with 150k miles? This is a high performance vehicle that is not expected to be driven for such a silly amount of miles. FWIW, the B58 engine from BMW is superb. With the changes Toyota have made, maybe it will last for that silly mileage you cite.
Toyota was always going to release a manual transmission - for low volume cars like this you need some "big news" to goose sales as the years go on and sales drop. This next part is speculation... Toyota is reworking the manual transmission that is going into this car because the BMW manual is a rubbery bratwurst and they wanted to get it right. Would be happy to hear if you know anything counter to my ~wild speculation~.
Everything you said is correct on the A90 Supra and why I bought one is the 9 year old kid / car guy 👦 inside me feels when driving the Supra gives you smile on your face and yes I agree it's " epic !!! " Great 👍 review.
Toyota and BMW still haven't addressed the throttle hesitation issues on their cars (Supra and Z4). It's a serious safety concern, a few people on the forum complained of situations where they went to pull out into traffic and the throttle pedal was unresponsive for about 3sec, or the car just outright stalled.
Same problem on my 2017 Lexus ES 350; solved in my 2019 Lexus ES 300h Hybrid. Is hybrid the difference?? If so, nothing but hybrids here on out for me. EV not an option, too much baggage.
I've experience this multiple times with the Supra. The throttle response delay comes at very inconvenient times and it happens at random. I've seen some fixes for this but the fixes make the accelerator way too sensitive especially if your running bolt on +Tune.
Wait do you mean when you are accelerating from fully stopped or? Are you maybe experiencing turbo lag? Have you tried downshifting when you need immediate torque?
@@robbyskyline Quoted from the forum: "Every morning I slowly back out of my garage (there is like a 5% grade) in reverse and sometimes I lose throttle response. As if there is a huge lag or something like that. If I step on it the rpm will go up but the car won't move couple secs and will then jump. It almost feels like the engine is going to stall when the lag is there. And today is the first time it actually stalled. I've started it again, drove to the first traffic light on my way and the throttle had that weird 2-3 seconds lag again."
Striking in an over-styled, fussy way. Someone dug too deep in the bag of design cues, not all of which complement each other but have to distinguish it from the bmw shape. Seems like too much compromise!
Hello AMD. As per your advice for coolant replacement on my Corolla, I found the drain on the driver side as you said. When I measured the amount that came out, only about 3.5 quarts of the 6.9 actually drained out. Is that good enough for the replacement? If not what should I do, since I don't want to open a can of worms removing things. In a side note I am impressed with how Toyota brilliantly designed the radiator drain and made a hole through the front core support as well as in the splash shield for easy drainage
I owned a 2020 Supra. The hud would toggle on and off randomly on it's own even though the settings still showed it was off, the alarm would go off continuously if the key fob battery was low, and at approximately 19,000 miles the driver side door controls stopped working. The mirrors would not unfold and you couldn't roll up or down the windows. These issues, plus a few others, happened more than once. Three different Toyota dealerships could not verify the issue even though I had video, or would tell me everything worked even though I would drive away from the dealership with the problems still an issue. It was a great car mechanically that was plagued by BMW problems. The car is worth it if the issues were fixed.
Your videos are 👍🏾👍🏾. As an owner of this car, I love this car. Is it perfect? No but which car is but for the price point, no other car will make you feel the way this one does. Who cares about all the BMW? I actually prefer it over the Toyota and I've owned many Toyotas/Lexuses also. For the reliability, we shall see but I got the 7 year extended warranty so yea but to all the negativity about the car (which comes mostly from the guys that haven't even driven one), to each his own I guess 🤙🏽
I beg to differ that the Supra is not a great daily. I’ve been daily driving my supra, 22k miles. The Supra has ample room and a big rear trunk space thanks to the hatchback design.
AMD. Greetings again from the UK. Just to say that I have only just watched the video because it is you doing it and i love your videos and your honesty, integrity and expert engineering knowledge . At my age of 58 sporty does not interest me and even if I could afford the Supra which I cannot it would be too loud and too hard for me in terms of the ride quality. I fully acknowledge that the Supra has its place as a track car and play thing rather than a daily driver. I am very much looking forward to more reviews and updates regarding progress with the shop / your new business. The Lord Bless you and keep you and your family.
We aren’t gonna address that Toyota only provided a 4 day class when the vehicle launched? That they expect a Toyota tech to understand the ins and out of how a bmw works. That you can’t look up trouble codes without ITSA or diagrams. The leaking rear diff issues. How techs (who are usually 1 or 2 guys per shop) are grossly undertrained for the vehicle? I was excited for the vehicle when it launched. It’s been nothing but a head ache. I feel sorry for people that purchased the vehicle and hope that a Toyota tech can fix their bmw.
@@TheCarCareNut I have. They are never any help (with the Supra at least) haha. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy your channel. Learned a few things myself, actually. I appreciate the insight of a technician, speaking to the masses. My only gripe is if I were a potential consumer of this vehicle. I would hate to not know there is a good chance the Supra tech(s) at the dealer(s). Are grossly undertrained. I get it. We work(ed) on the brand and don’t want to bash on it. I personally love the brand, just hate we don’t have the ease of resources for the Supra as we do with Toyotas. Keep up the good work though! Congratulations on the new shop. Very exciting. Best wishes as a shop owner.
I think they offer the turbo 4 because in some countries you pay very high taxes for engines greater than 2 liters. I think Japan is one of those countries.
BMW makes great I6 until the plastic parts break and the o-rings become brittle plastic. It’s only 3 years. Give it a couple more and you will be replacing $12 parts that require $1200 labour to access them. After warranty is up of course…

That transmission shifts PERFECT! That what you want, crisp and quick shifts. Can you get it to chirp between gears? Love the powertrain, but I'm not crazy about the styling.
Awesome video as always, thanks for making them! I totally agree with you, beautiful car and fun to drive. That BMW Supra unfortunately will bring Toyota's quality scores down as a company. If I bought one, I'd buy the Toyota extended warranty 110% because it will be expensive (and unreliable) to repair just like a BMW. I compared the Z4 extended warranty to the Supra's, a little while ago. Here in Canada BMW charges about $2,200 more for same warranty then Toyota. After all 90% of all parts on the car are stamped/stickered physically and say BMW not Toyota. : 0 )
I absolutely love your videos. I’ve been watching you for a few months. I bought a Toyota Corolla XLE and I want to take great care of it. I thank you for all your advice. So when are you going to sell some shirts. I would love to dress up in a car care nut shirt when I’m putting oil in my car.
Ty mate enjoyed seeing the 2022 Supra, very lovely looking car and seems to be one that you would enjoy so much on a beautiful sunny day. Keep Safe Keep Strong Mate🦘🦘🚗🚗
I never thought I'd see the day that Toyota would ask for a powertrain from BMW. I'm not saying the BMW inline 6 is poorly engineered and I know it was to lower development costs, but imagine Nissan using a powertrain from Mercedes in the Z.
the b58 is about as close to a modern 2jz as you can get. It's a solid engine that can produce lots of power. Transmission is very sound too as the ZF 8 speed is used in many cars outside of bmw.
9yr old, 😂🤣, ur so funny! Any room for a larger battery (more reserve capacity)? What about a higher amp alternator? Love this car but DEFINITELY not my pay grade. I saw this in the 🎥 video when u were showing us ur new shop! 😁👍
Been seeing more used Supras for sale online ever since Toyota announced a manual and GR Corolla versions. Almost tempted to buy one but with Nissan already testing a Nismo version their Z, think I will wait.
It’s just a BMW, because Toyotas not interested in spending money to develop a sports car, heck even their Toyota 86 is just a Subaru BRZ. They are focused more on SUV’s than anything else.
It makes no sense, Toyota would have spend millions if not billions developing a brand new all Toyota sports car that they would have to sell at a big price. I understand why Toyota did what they did.
Excellent review man. Twice now I’ve rented the same 3.0 Supra on Turo and it’s exactly like you said. I can’t help but smile and find excuses to go driving this car. Went way over the mileage limit for my reservation but I didn’t give af.
Nice vehicle for "track type driving," but like you said it's not made for long distance driving. Also, I wouldn't even try to drive it on a snowy day or even the next two weeks after that! It's not made for that! I don't hate the car, probably if I drove one, I'd want to buy it "Right Now!" Anyway, thank you for the in depth explanation. Hopefully this car will last many good years and not have the Euro curse of high maintenance problems!
The different engine sounds based on Sport mode or other modes are at least in part piped-in (through the audio system) sound. At least I think so (piping engine sound into the cabin is very common in plenty of other cars.)

Thanks for the review AMD! When can we expect to hear details on the oil consumption for early 2021 models? I keep hearing rumors of piston ring replacement, but that sounds fairly involved compared to what you described? Thanks!
Mine too! I had a '88 turbo 5spd, from 1990 - 2000, loved that car! Not the fastest thing around by today's standards, but so reliable and comfortable, reasonably quick and good handling, ergonomically well laid out. Would like to find another one with maybe a MK4 engine swap done correctly would be just about the perfect car I suspect!
Just picked up a 22 Supra. Spectacular car. Very pleased. Those radio presets are there for a reason it turns out. You can use them to save shortcuts for the settings menu.

Another great video. I couldn't agree with you more. The wife took my 21 LC Heritage as her daily, so I get to drive her 21 Supra 3.0 a lot more now. Life is good.
My friend stop calling this car a Toyota. It has nothing to do with the previous original Japanese predecessors. Too much praise for a coupe Z4 model. It's not a bad car but nothing special either!
Hello there's a lot of discussion regarding the high voltage harness that provides power to rear wheels of the 2020-22 rav 4 hybrids corrodes prematurely and results in costly repairs of 6-7 thousand. Some dealers honor the hybrid warranty others do not .
I can see the value of the 4-cylinder version. The B58 is a great engine, but the B48 is most likely to be more affordable to service and might be more reliable overall long-term.
My inner 9-year old rejoiced when he heard of the resurrection of the Supra a few years ago!!! But no manual shifter??? That’s a crime, call 911!! I can’t wait for the GR Corolla !!
I wouldn't buy a Supra based on it being a BMW. It doesn't share the reliability that authentic Toyota's do. Nor are the parts as affordable. My inner 9 year old would be happier with a C8 Corvette.
Can i be honest there is to many bad things on this car the Toyota corolla modles are far better even the sports model is better the interior i don't like the boot scoop as we call it in Australia is rubbish the out side of the car i don't like the sound is good but i heard talking about a double clutch is no good other car makers have that and there so much problems with it that's why i stuck with Toyota i don't think I would buy one if i had the money i will stick with the corolla model there is to wrong with this should have a standard boot scoop and front scoop and get rid of those mag wheels as well i respect what have to about all Toyota's by the way how is your new shop going i like to see what you have done now in making the way you want it
It seems Supra is made as right side steering wheel and adapted for left side. Radio buttons wrong oriented, buttons and holder around gearbox also. Thank you AMD.
the i4 maybe makes no sense for you that live in a tax free country. In other parts of the world it is really expensive to own cars 250+HP. We would pay between 2500-3000€ per year for the i6 Supra; even prices are way higher here, B48 starts from 60k now. By the way, i own a B48 version that with simple mods has same performance of the B58 model so it is not bad at all
Awesome AMD. There is the Supra I thought was yours😀. Yes, it is definitely a BMW Z4 under the body. Even the sound chime is totally bmw. Just wondering, is the reliability still there since engine, drivetrain the whole chassis, electronics etc. are all bmw? Only time will tell. I had 3 bmw’s mainly the E39’s, but I was in the bmw community and I know by 100k miles, things start to break. I know from all three I had and my friends that has various models through the years. Like I said Only time will tell. Thank you AMD, Cool review!
