I think the Sigma EF-M trio brings the picture- and video-quality of the Canon M50 to another level. When working with adapted lenses, there tend to be problems with sharpness, auto focus and vignetting. When I compare my Canon M50 pictures with my EF-M Sigma lenses, I can hardly tell the difference between those and my Canon R6 pictures with my RF lenses.
Can you add the lenses in the description? Also great editing. Very Casey neistat inspired! However I would have liked to hear some feedback from you during the video shoot on how it was working with the M50 and which lenses and settings you had overlayed in the corner of each shot. I’m looking forward to more of your M50 videos.
I had my m50 since last year and I'm still loving it. Honestly I don't get a major reason to "upgrade " because the upgrade are not really upgrades 🙄🤷🏽♂️
I have a canon 6D and M100 and want to condense the two. I mainly do photography and was pretty impressed by the shots. How would you compare this to the older FF canon models?
So since the 6d is a full frame you would be sacrificing a little bit of the depth of field. The Canon m50 is a really good apsc size mirror less camera from Canon and it's compact. I would def recommend. With the adapter you can use your full frame lens too! It's all about you use the gear after all. Would def recommend if you dont wanna break the budget.
@@JradkunPnoy thanks for the reply. Any comparisons against something new like the RP? The m50 a whole lot cheaper and feel like I can do what I want with it but don’t want to lose native full frame.
@@GabeSanchez the rp are nice and sharp. But honestly it's comparable. Only difference is the full frame light capability(low light). Otherwise if you use native Canon m50 apsc lens. They are about comparable when it comes to sharpness (especially with sigma lens) . The only real difference is depth of field and overall low light capability because of sensor size.
Hi Love the video! Do you know if the meike 85mm works with the m50 and a normal adapter and not the speedbooster adapter? if you can respond as soon as possible that will be much appreciated. thank you!
Yes it should work with the normal adapter as long as it's got auto focus on the adapter. If not you might not be able to autofocus and just use manual focuse. The spedbooster only does is improve the focal range and gives it more light comparable to a full frame.
@@JradkunPnoy Thank you so much for the reply. The reply.. the problem i have when I use the 85mm meike lens with my canon m50 is it says push and hold the lens switch in direction then rotate to unlock. by any chance do you know how to rectify this? thank you for your time.
@@hollyheron3580 I’m having the exact same issue. Where u able to fix this problem? If so it would be very appreciated if you could respond with the answer of how to fix this issue
So I shot it with auto eye tracking focus. And honestly. Its about 75% success rate it'll be focus. Images are not as sharp compared to using a native m mount lens. But you do get a benefit from having that almost full frame look with the speedbooster.
Bro can you chek my video what I upload about the canon m50 mark 2 + Meike adapter + Meike 85 mm f1.8 … I can’t dissapare the message of > Push and hold the lens switch in 🔼 direction and then rotate the lens to enable shooting< please can you help me ????
