Hi & Welcome to the channel, I own a car showroom in the southwest and today I want to show you around a Jaguar XF 2.2TD R-Sport Sportbrake that we have recently taken in to stock. Please remember to like & subscribe to the channel!
63mpg between Warrington and Leicester between 55-59 from Warrington to Exeter and 45mpg in mixed urban/motorway driving from my 2.2td. A brilliant workhorse and daily driver
Best mileage ive managed 62.7 A12 M25 Orpington Shirley to Croydon so claimed 62.8 plus is not a false claim by jaguar but it was very Conservative driving. So other claims on mpg are pretty much what I'm getting so no problems there. I've had mine 6 plus years and have no intention of getting rid of it still love driving it. The only thing i personally would have liked to see was a temperature gauge and a dip stick, you can tell a lot from these two, my only gripe otherwise an excellent car, I do the servicing myself really easy to work on so no complaints there either. The only problems I've experienced was a front passenger door lock and tailgate, but once sorted no problems. The longest drive in one day was an 827 mile trip to Middlesbrough and back. Excellent cruising car with little to no fatigue.
On the mainland, the XF seems more priced like the BMW 5 and Mercedes E. A fully spec'd XF is a bit pricey and underwhelming vs the other two. The new intererior is really nice, but engines are a bit dull mild hybrids or the V6. No lane keep assist. Harly anyone spec'd the ventilated seats so to get those you need to order a new one and delivery times seem infinite. I've never found a sportbrake on the road or even at the local dealership. Looks great in video, I'd love to have something distinguished from the many Passat, Superb, 5, E, Octavia, V90, C5, Mondeo and other wagons on the road here. Maybe I need to look at the latest Mondeo again...
I put them through for an MOT and address any of the advisories, get a service carried out and of course if there are some cosmetic issues that need addressing I’ll do that too 😎
