This car doesn't seem too bad, unfortunately nobody will buy it because of the badge. I personally wish I didn't care but as a car guy I just couldn't bring myself to own this...
deadkemper yeah except this car is nowhere as exciting as the stinger. Brands like Kia and Vauxhall really need to do something special to have the "want" factor.
It does look lovely put a Volvo or VW badge on it and it'll sell by the shedload. You don't see many of these insignias on the road as it's a stunning looking car.
I would love to see you doing a video on the new focus estate in st-line trim with the slightly detuned 1.5 liter 3 pot from the fiesta st. Could be a sweet spot between space, size on the road and pace. I also think it comes with Michelin PS4s.
35k. Wow. But saying that.. at-least Vauxhall are continuing the GSI name. It was cool back in the day but no so much now. Not my cuppa but I’m sure someone out there will wake up one day and think to themselves.. “‘Nah, I won’t test drive that slightly used 335d touring M sport today, I’ll just go and buy this brand spankers Insignia GSI instead.” Great video though Sid. Enjoying the channel.
I have very little interest in Vauxhall’s (unless it’s a vxr) but have to admit I do like the recent stuff. I have spent time in a 2015 Astra as a passenger it was pretty refined
Yes but a "opel" country tourer. Fully loaded with the 260hp petrol engine. A volvo v90cc has slightly better comfort but way more expensive. I love the great chassi and the great interior.
Estate cars are cool. This one looks good for a daily driver. However, why can't you get the 2-litre petrol turbo or the V6 you can get in the Buick version?
I sat in one...i swear vauxhall have done it...they made a great car, the finish is better than my passat alltrak and skoda superb i had...would i buy a new one..nope...but a second hand buy for £25k nearly new like this one was up for , yes i would, and i tried to
tried to buy this EXACT car from thurrock vauxhall, i recognise the plate.sold it last saturday..so that was that...I cannot find another 4x4 insignia so i gave up
Looks like a decent motor, in the right colour, wheels, spec, I would yes ok, but £34 k, I'm not so sure. Engines not so glamourous, emmissions generally to high for bik company car drivers.
Great video Sid, I always enjoy your stuff! As for the car, absolutely not! Couldn’t think of anything worse than a Vauxhall, just bland and boring cars.
I’ve been given the Insignia “hatch” as a hire car while mines being repaired. What a pile of dog s*** it is. The 1.5 turbo is seriously underpowered at 163bhp for such a heavy car. The manual gear box is lumpy, it rides like a boat in choppy water and the technology inside is frustrating! That touring is not good value for money. I’ll stick with my 245bhp TSI Octavia estate which is quicker, less money, 50L bigger boot and a far nicer interior oh and driving experience.
