Rememer, the construction of the 14 has been greatly improved and simplified over the 13. If the back plate of the 14 is broken, it cost significantly less to repair than the 13. The 14 can be opened from the rear plate! I went from a Motorola Edge Plus to my first iPhone, the iphone 14.

I was going to get the 14 pro, but my carrier radically lowered the price of the 14, because of low sales, and I could no longer justify the way higher price. The 14 is light, fast chips, good cameras, and now great value at a discount…

I moved from Android back to Apple after being gone for a few years. Went with the base 14 for a number of reasons. Price being one. Yes it's $200, but I pay monthly and have other expenses I need to keep in check, so the lower the better. Also used that extra money towards a refurbed Apple Watch, I like the 6.1 size and my old S22 Ultra was way too big and heavy. I prefer the lighter model of the 14 much more. Now I would like to have the better camera system, but I only take pics of my pets and that's it. So it's not a huge deal for me. For me, all I needed was the 14. I'm not a power user, don't like big heavy phones, don't care about the island thing, can live with the slightly less powerful camera system, and I basically do no social media. I call and I text. So I'm pretty basic. So it works for me. Maybe I'll go with the pro for the 16 but I'm happy to just have an iPhone again.

I tend to adapt to how many cameras my phone has. I went from a Samsung S10 with triple cameras to an iPhone XR, then a Pixel 4a, both only have 1 rear camera. I think if I was phone shopping right now it would consider the 14 Plus. I have an inexpensive 6.7" Android phone as a back up and it's great for reading, social media, and YT.

upgraded from the 13 to the 14 plus. Feels way better in the camera department , snappier in general and the battery is definitely in different league! was not excited with the 13 but this one is amazing device!

I just swapped a 13 Pro Max for a 14. Not being a professional photographer, not caring about dynamic island, and not being a gamer, it was more than enough for me. I needed something smaller and lighter in my hand than the 13PM (which is a great phone, no complaints, just arthritis made it not an option for me). My phone is for making calls 😲, texting, and a few other apps. So the 14 is just right for me.

Hated the iPhone 14 pro. Hated how heavy was, hates the dynamic island, battery life sucked with AOD. Returned it and got the regular 14.

So I’ve always been a pro max user and I did get the 14 pro max but when the 14 plus came out and I felt how light it was I was hooked. I don’t miss the dynamic island and the battery life on the 14 plus has been phenomenal

excactly why I bought an 14 and I can confirm that everything you said in the video is spot on. I needed a phone which can make photos/recored videos, is responsive, has good build quality and a decent battery life. Aside from the dynamic island and the additional 48mpx camera, everyone who isn't a photographer or a movie maker or an tiktoker or an influencer in any sort(which whom i don't reccomend to buy an iphone pro for their job but a real camera) iphone 14 will suit you just fine.

I’m shopping around for a new phone because I need one but I heard many complaints on the 14 pro models. Mainly the battery life.. the Plus out of all phones got the battery upgrade rather than the pro’s.. I may get the plus model this next refresh but let’s see if they get me with the pro models.

I came from a iPhone 12 Pro Max and this cutie pie iPhone 14 in Blue is so light and the battery life is AMAZING. I’ve always had the bigger devices and I currently have a iPad mini if I want something bigger yet the iPhone 14 feels so cozy and easy to enjoy not to big and is a powerful device on its own despite its size. The plus is tempted yet pro max I would die for if it was in this rich blue otherwise I’m pretty satisfied coming again from a iPhone 12 Pro Max. Will definitely update if I switch out. Great video like always, but I really hate dynamic island ;) I preffer notch its cover more things from screen I dont really care extra features around d i apple can do same features around notch if they want to do. Im thinking to buy 14 from 14 pro dosent care pro features but Im sure I wont buy pro again.

As a pro Max user I’ve had the 11 pro max and 13 pro max but recently got a new iPhone 14 plus I could not get a iPhone 14 pro max due to it being out of stock really didn’t want to wait & hearing the rumors for the iPhone 15! I decided to just get it & I can honestly say this phone has been great especially with plus model I feel like I have a pro max model great phone! But I’m still excited for the 15 pro max release

If the 14 Pro Max had the lightweight build of the 14 Plus, then I would buy it. Now I’m not sure of what to do. Wait for the 15 Pro, and hope that they cut down the weight of that one. The premium look the added weight brings, isn’t worth it to me. Use lighter materials.

My iPhone 14 i got from my parents the 14 Pros were out of stock i got the last iPhone 14 left. It’s a great Phone it will sell better when apple releases the iPhone 15 and Pro. The 14 and 13 will basically work as a team against the 15 line up and might both sell better

totally agree to ur statement. i upgraded from ip12 to 14 just now. and i think for most users, they are more than enough and a good balance between price and value. also, i never think about buying a new phone rn cause it’s not a good time. but unfortunately, my iphone12 died because of water damage.

Had the 14pro for 4 days and returned it for the 14plus. The 14pro is waaaaaaayyy to heavy for my liking. Also the 14pro camera is not that much better than the 14+

I just upgraded to the 14 with 512gb storage from an 8 year old Samsung Neo S5. Not complaining.

The prices are too close, there needs to be at least a 300 price difference between Standard and Pro models otherwise people are just going to spend the extra 200$ for the Pro phones. That was my thinking anyway, I gave up my 12 mini for a 14 Pro. What I really wanted was 14 mini Pro, the 14 Pro was the closest thing I could come to that. For me that third camera that can zoom in from 3X is become so important to me

I noticed there are no significant upgrade form iphone 13 to iphone 14, with discounted price now, many suggest to buy iphone 13 than 14, but the noticable difference is 6gb ram compare to 4gb ram. We wont notice significant difference now, but how about 2-3 years from now? I wanted to buy phone that lasts for at least 3 years. If I buy iphone 13 which is already almost 2 years old from first release, will it still be a good investment for 3-4 years?

I have an iPhone 12 mini, I 'enrolled' in the auto-upgrade program when I got it thinking that I would never have to worry about having a phone that could not handle the most up-to-date apps thus eliminating stress. After much consideration and rethinking the financial implications, etc. I think it is best for me to simply keep this phone until it becomes obsolete as I did with my first iPhone, the 6 Plus. When I traded in my 6 Plus, Apple allowed me $50 for trade in. Currently, my 12 mini is worth $250 trade in. That was a factor in my decision to upgrade now or wait until it becomes obsolete. I hope this Comment makes sense. If anyone sees a valid reason for me to upgrade now, I would be in interested to hear your thoughts.

People should buy the iPhone 13 instead of the 14. Maybe then apple will stop selling the same phone with a new number slapped on. Oh, plus you’ll get to keep the SIM card slot on the iPhone 13.

I have the 14 plus in red with 128gb.

I also in 2024, went from an Android (Samsung A13, I believe) to the 14.

iPhones have great resell value and that’s what convinced me to go this route.

why would anyone buy dynamic island design on purpose. it is blocking content. Normal 15 version has notch to pushed to border atleast.
