Its been a year since i bought my jzx100 chaser so i thought it would be a good opportunity to talk about the good the bad and whether the car has lived up to the hype.

Wipers are an easy fix. Turn them on, when they're in the vertical position, turn them off. Now you can stand them up and away from the windscreen. 👍

I’ve owned a few Jap cars in my time and nothing has really felt as good a fit as the jzx. I think they’re only getting better with age

Hi, greeting from Moscow. In our country these model were very popular in 90's. The advice from the owners of such cars. It is necessary to install spacers under the hood, under the front arches, on the rear cups, in the trunk and preferably on the tunnel in the cabin. The car is 20+ years old. So the body will live longer, otherwise cracks will appear.

Hey mate I think so, it looks like they space the back of the bonnet up by 25mm. Something like this link store.partsshopmax.com/universal/HoodVent/HVSKB.html

Thanks mate! 14.1 from memory. I’ve got my fingers crossed for a 13 of some sort before I start on power mods. We’ll see what we can do Wednesday 👍🏼

Keen to see the drags on good tyres. Have you considered fitting a boost controller and doing a run on stock boost and then on about 12-13psi? The 1J stock will take it no problem 😊

Yep, it’s definitely on the list. I want to get a front mount too. It’s a bit of stuffing around but I want to test and evaluate mods individually to see what makes real world differences. Will be running it again once the manual is in then add and test dump pipe, boost intercooler as we go

With the beeping noise in reverse, you have to remove the tacho and there’s a little thingo on the back of it

It's a good, cool car, pretty solid. If you give it good maintenance, it will last forever. I own a Series 1 Tourer S 1JZ-GE VVT-i though not as powerful as the 1JZ-GTE. But I love it and I enjoy driving it.
