As far as the kids and toddlers I wish they could have just added accidental magic actions. Like leave a toddler alone to long and he turns the babysitter into a chair.

I feel like we've all been sort of generally disappointed in the recent packs, and it sort of makes me wonder if they overloaded their plate. I mean it's great getting content so frequently but with it being so lackluster it's almost not worth it. And we're supposedly getting another expansion before 2019 is out. I hope that whatever they add in next is amazing and so full and that's the reason they haven't focused on or done very well on these last few packs because I think they're sort of at the end of the sims community putting up with it and certainly we're hearing much more complaints from game changers. Idk.

I love playing with the toddlers and kids! It’s sad because I rarely see kids roaming the streets and I never meet a toddler (not counting my own) so I can’t have a “Toddler Play Date” unless I make another family with a toddler and go meet them. I’ve noticed a lot of the townies live alone or have very mixed families ... that are mostly young adult - adults. As I’ve said, love your channel, girl! 💯💖❤️❤️💖

every time i'm considering buying a pack, i always always always come to plumbella and watch every single video she's got about packs in general and the specific pack(s) i'm thinking of buying. genuinely, there's no opinion on the sims i trust more than jesse. she knows her frickety frackety shit when it comes to the sims.

If you watched the deep dive stream, one of the gurus mentioned "We built some houses for the... lilsimsies of the world" implying that this time, they intentionally designed the houses really poorly so that people can renovate them. So I personally give them a pass this time, lol.

Ok, I've basically been a lurker for a few months now, but this video has prompted me to make a comment. THANK YOU for being one of the most genuine, funny, and open Simmers out there on YT. From what I've seen thus far (and I can't by any means claim to have watched from Day 1), you admit what you like and don't like, you don't overwhelm yourself with popular challenges, and you have some really creative short series that I love following. The build and buy is so charming and interesting this time around, I'm impressed. Your critique is justified concerning the windows. The 2 worlds are great but glimmerbrook is somewhat lazy. How could they trade off open world and high poly meshes and textures and then only add 1-12 lots per world nowadays?! That is not okay. Either they should release a create a world tool after 5 years or make the worlds bigger. But other then that Realm of Magic seems nice. Although they could add cooler/ more dangerous charms to spice the game up a bit, in a patch :)

I really liked your commentary on the splitting up into two worlds. I like that glimmerbrook can be completely playable without magic. However, I would’ve loved if they included another floating island in the magic world and had 3 lots. That would’ve been perfect. I always enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work!

I honestly think they do a lackluster job on the houses on purpose because they know that people love to renovate them to suit their individual sims.

The Sims 4 child issue is a self fulfilling prophecy. I don't use children BECAUSE EA screwed kids over. You can't make a starter family because there are no starter houses that a full family can fit in, any house big enough is too expensive. The only 3 room home a starter sim can afford is an apartment! I miss my large families EA. I PLAYED WITH CHILDREN EA!

The sims team better make an update soon that brings bonehilda back because they already have the skeleton mesh thing from jungle adventure sooo #JUSTICEFORBONEHILDABRINGHERBACK

I miss being able to customize my worlds like in Sims 2 & 3. If we still had that function of being able to add on more lots to a world then EA putting in their few lots might not be much of a big deal.

There's no way I can say I don't like this pack, especially with the cross-pack compatibility 🤣 I play purely vanilla on console(don't even have the updated basegame) so I could totally consider this as a first pack to get💕

Im so glad you mentioned bonehilda even if just as an aftercomment. I can't see any other pack they would add her in? Fairies doesnt really make sense, neither does werewolves, shes much more of a vampire of wizard kind of pack addition. I worry she maybe will not be making any appearances in the sims 4, which is unfortunate as she adds so much magic to a household.

I loved playing as a fairy in sims 3, especially because you could have a toddler fairy levitating her toys around it was so CUTE I miss it

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion but I am not a fan of the furniture(maybe because I don't like at all art nouveau).But they fit well with the pack.

I would argue that the sims community doesn't play with kids because there isn't as much gameplay associated with kids. There are so many things kids can't do, which makes them less fun to play with.

A note on the "Windows for different wall heights" There is a CC-Creator SimsationalDesigns also known as Peacemaker who consistently creates 'Add-ons' for Build mode that addresses that issue, so I wouldn't be surprised if he did a CC pack for this Game pack. He also creates absolutely beautiful CC furniture, wallpapers, flooring, etc.

I can deal with bad houses, because at the end of the day we have the gallery with tons of amazing creators, and i also love creating my own stuff. that's not a deal breaker for me.

I have to turn on closed captioning sometimes to figure out what you're saying (accent for my ears, difference of word usage from US to GB) and I just have to say, watching CC try and and guess what it is your saying is a crack up all in itself ('porn Hilda'...LOL). I will clearly hear words that it TOTALLY messes up. It's just a whole 'nother reason to come watch your videos. Congrats on finishing your Masters and getting your own place. You're doing so well and i'm sure your family is so proud of you. I may be 39, but I still remember those early college years and the struggles (and I only went for a BS, never got a chance to go for my Masters). I hope it's all downhill for you from here on out. I have to say, i'm not a huge occult person, but I am very excited for Realm of Magic. I don't know what I really expected, but so far what i've seen in videos isn't really what I was looking for (again, not sure exactly what I was looking for, but the build items, while nice, just don't scream "witches and wizards" to me and that's really what i'm interested in) but regardless, I will be buying it tomorrow. :) I feel like the GP are usually worth the $20 price tag, and i'm a penny pincher, but I don't mind paying for this one full price right out of the gate. Re: Windows...feels a bit lazy to me. I know it's a lot of work involved for meshes, but when the first set of windows are done, without actually ever having built a mesh myself (but having lots of design experience) usually you can build off of the first item to drastically cut your time down, so i'm going to assume the same is true for meshing/designing windows. (OMG will my comment ever end?!) Re: EA Houses...I think they just do it on purpose now. I have always wondered why they didn't just get a few Game Changers to make the houses to go in the games, but then there would be nothing to complain about and nothing to renovate and make better, so there's that.

“The Sims 4 really nails supernaturals” Where? You said it yourself. Both worlds are style over content. You can’t properly live there or have townies. Sims 3: Moonlight Falls 31 RESIDENTIAL lots and 23 COMMERCIAL lots = Over 50 lots; a lot of supernaturals, townies and brooms that actually serve as a means of transport. I’m not just disappointed with EA, but I’m also starting to get really disappointed with you tubers and simmers. It seems like they lost all sense of logic and turn a blind eye to this game’s faults because they make money off it. I wish they would actually use their influence to throw harsh criticism so that we could actually get a better game. The talk about small worlds to make the game run smoothly is also bull crap. I don’t have a computer with top specs but Sims 3 runs smoothly with all expansion packs installed and Sims 4 does too. Today’s computers are not 2008 computers. We don’t need to go from 50 lots per town to 5 in order to have a playable game. I actually think it’s quite insulting.

Idk about everyone else but I absolutely LOVE playing with my kids. I raise them with all five traits of responsibility, empathy, conflict resolution, emotional, and manners. I just like the challenge and plus I find playing with them as an adult is fulfilling (they learn quickly and just are unique amongst others;) like I raised this perfect child right😭😂😂
