I would love to see a multiplayer versus mode along with co-op. No base rushing because of hoard of zombies dividing you and opponent. And if you make too much racket the zombies slowly migrate to your base more than your opponent.
The campaign is not the best way to start playing the game. The campaign is very rough at the edges and you can lock yourself out of victory if you don't know what you are doing. You need to have a strong grasp on the game before you start playing the campaign, either from playing the survival mode first or watching how other people play. The game is really good still and despite its flaws I would recommend it strongly.
Oh yeah, if you don't particulary know what you are doing, your tech (and hero) choices can easily screw you over. (Farms for example are practically necessary for any 1000+ population mission) Especially if you want to play on higher difficulties (although you can switch difficulty anytime in the campaign)
It's just boring once you get the hang of it 😂 repetitive beyond imagination, after things started rolling (and everybody said I'd be starting having fun) it just fell down miserably and I left it 😂
It’s not worth $20. The building is tedious and not fun. Zombies sneak through and the lack of units is dull. The only good part is the upgrades research.
...I might consider buying if a save/load game option is added. I've heard too many stories of the AI not picking up a lone zombie who sneaks past all defenses and ends the game...forcing the player to start completely over, sometimes after dozens of hours of play. Repeating levels over, and over, and over is not my idea of fun. LOL!
danial you're not a youtuber so it doesn't really matter this game received so much fkn hate. it's all about the youtubers flooding content so they can move on to next game next day... DANIAL!
@@Paperclown and this is just a game man. If i didn't think the game was cool i wouldn't have played it to begin with. I still don't think its a bad game and i didn't know people hated it! It makes no sense. It is a good game but its not the game its me you know :(
@@danialtootian6385 i hate it because I played an old gog version before they retweaked campaign difficulty. way to fkn hard back then. after all night switched to steam version but that one included a call-home anti piracy measure that resets research to 0. found the current gog and by that time i'm like fk that i'm not playing that all over again.
@@Daniel-xv3nw I have been playing dota 2 warcraft 3 diablo 2 civilization stronghold and age of empire of YEARS. Now a kid like you comes and tells me what i like.
Buyer beware on Xbox one this game tends to freeze while playing and this game only auto saves so if it freezes you might lose a lot of progress when you have to restart and from I seen from website this hasn’t been fixed don’t get me wrong the gameplay is fun but losing a lot of progress after it freezes is no fun.
Cons: No Co-OP...how about the repetitive game play, weak campaign, lack of basic RTS staples, neglected story, lack of game mode diversification? It justified it price when it's on sale but a 9/10?
Cause it's not the RTS like Age of Empires etc. It's more like rouglike Rimworld. Every gameplay in every rts is more or less repetetive. The game is mostly focused on random survival mode, even creators told that campaign is afterthought to teach newcomers the ropes in the game. Also... What RTS staples? Im courious.
You think its a good thing that a couple of bad choices in the skill tree can make the game unbeatable?? That is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while, So why the hell should anyone want to try new playstyles or builds when you have to choose the exact type to win?? I was interested but you just killed it for me.
I just play survival. Love it. I pirated the game until it was released and then I bought it. Full price because they deserve it. Beating one of the maps makes you feel accomplished. Getting that random crate of food at the start feels rewarding and knowing it can all go to hell in 1 instant makes you be more focused.
The only con of this game is not the non-existent co-op mode but the hybrid keyboard shorcuts that you still have to click while building. Other than that its a pretty good rts game. Also you can't compare this to dark souls when you only play pepega 50% difficulty 😂
Thanks for the info. Great vid babe. Definitely going to check out more as I got a list on my shopping cart here and am trying to figure which are worth grabbing. This is one.
stand 10th of july 2023, I´ve played 816,1h total in They are Billions and only Escape from Tarkov and The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim have equaly or more hours and Minecraft is closing in.
The stress required to wield dark souls and tab is 24 , at least they have that in common. But yep, the "difficulty dark souls " is way too much overused when we consider that dark souls is not hard per say but rather exigent and here is the difference. Dark souls can be as difficult as much as easy and the same goes for tab . They are both exigent.🤔 In dark souls ,most of the time , the difficulty is created by the player.
iTS A MASSIVELY GREAT GAME. Ez one of the best in its year of release. EZ worth a buy :P and i hope the devs build a Series out of this but do take their time unlike EA
Congratulations on that. :) It's not easy and you always feel like you'll never make it, then you start to get the hang of it and pretty soon you are beating higher difficulty levels. I got to 700% and I'm struggling at that level. It helps to see some people like KenseiTV and see what they do to improve your own skills. Keep it up !
@@Damorann ive never really played higher difficulty survival mode. I choose to focus on the campaign and the costum made maps. In the end i beat the full campaign on (of im right, its ages ago) the 500% i think, or 300 if 500 doesnt exist and after that the first 6 levels on apocalyps mode and it became too hard. But i played a ton of costum made maps of the workshops i loved them
@@Damorann the ways of master kensei, I'm in awe of how he plays. I love this game but wish it had gotten more support from the devs, like dlcs, new maps, enemies, units etc.
I wish this would be on gamepass. Kinda like frost punk i want to play it but i know its not the kind of game im going to get very far in or want to play for long enough to justify a purchase.
sadly the thing with the campaign the tech stuff is sort of stupid, they should be more verity of how to play, but sadly notice every one who play seem to either have to go to the same play style or similiar ones
Darksouls is an extremely easy game, infact Its as easy as you want it to be. The difficulty slider is called "your level" if you put 99 in every skill it's extremely easy like a 1 or a 3 max. Don't put darksousl at 10
What I understand by " dark souls difficulty " is that the player is the one creating the difficulty. And dark souls is not that difficult. But rather exigent. And exigent doesn't automatically mean difficulty . But that s what is making the charm of dark souls, can either roll on the game or you can purposefully increase the challenge. By doing challenge run . That's where I see resemblance to a certain degree ,of course ' to dark souls when I see they are billions.
What? Dude, its trash, at least the campaign - the hero missions are a pixel hunt drag, and the no saves drove me mad, even on EASIEST difficulty, one mistake and sneaky zombie can trash your early-mid game of 10-20 minutes (after that you have good enough defenses and coverage so you only die to hordes), making you sink countless hours in, and watch the shitty, slow, repetitive play for god knows how long, i'm unemployed and i STILL don't have the time, patience and interest playing this shit after 30 hours and just reaching 10% in the campaign. And i'm no noob either, i loved clearing all of starcraft 2 on max difficulty, but this game is just a slow, boring grindfest with no saves that forces you to start over if you fuck up. Again, i love challenges, but NOT sinking hundreds and thousands of hours into an unpolished game for no frigging reason, and its a damn shame too, because on the surface i kinda liked it, its just the two main issues (no saves + the hero missions being a horrible, boring, long drag) ruin it for me completely.
This game sucks without cheating which I'm very upset I just wasted 30 dollars on this, they should at least have a creative mode or something for console
Dislike for exclusionary views on difficulty and endorsement of 'trap choices.' Helpful factual info, but not much to offer in the way of useful opinion or insight.
That's valid, but I see an even more fundamental oversight. No mention in this video of the absolute baboon decision by the devs to not allow in-game saves.
