Even without Calamity, the deck now plays with and through bystials giving access to the lvl 10 synchro pool. With chaos angel during your opponent's main phase, your monsters need to be outed by backrow effects or they don't go anywhere. If Anti spell doesn't get hit, you could main it and under an optimal board, your opponent cannot out your cards except by trap effects.

Its easier to summon calamity with centurions than his own archetype shi like this is why I side deck lava golem/ kaiju

Doesn't seem necessary since Branded Fusion locks you and Tenpai cards revolve around activation during the battle phase. The only case you would need a branded engine is if you do not out them through the first battle phase, and end up in Main 2. With Tenpai's ability to deal 37k damage, I don't think that's an issue.

@@dudono1744 TCG Konami removed rares from core sets back in 2020. Rare prints are exclusive to side sets. Of course, the rares in core sets are bumped to super rare, OCG super rares are bumped to ultra rare and OCG ultras are bumped to secret rare. Secret rares in the OCG are higher rarity variants of super and ultra rare cards and they also have additional rarities in the OCG core sets so super and ultra rares in the OCG are priced significantly lower than TCG.

@@dudono1744 which irks me, players don't know this change and blindly buy boxes of core sets, hunting after chase cards to get an edge in a locals setting. Side sets tend to retain OCG style packs and rarities, Soulburning Volcano did this. But TCG Konami still occasionally shifts around rarities in those side sets. The deck builder set that had Neuvelles, Transcendrake, and VS (don't remember the proper name) shifted all of the VS cards up in rarity, making the archetype way over priced. The Rarity Collection is one of the few times where the set is of decent value to buy packs/boxes from. Even then, I suspect it just motivates TCG Konami to continue making good cards rare for years before finally releasing the abundance of prints which should have been present from their release.

Booster boxes price will crush, so picking boxes will be worthwhile in the long run. Yugioh, in general, is not worth buying because single prices have been outrageous for staples in the last few years. At least you buy a box you get 2 secret rares and 4 ultras guaranteed

The only time i remember recently a promo was added to the core set was with Virtual World but Valuable Book EX promos are typically imported in side sets.

yeah ashened itself is garbage. that doesnt stop veidos from being good
