Actually colleges look at you needing a level math as a requirement if u want to do science, related engineering or physics then maths is a must plus a level physics involves a level maths

This video is so helpful , I personally think physics calculation part is more good than maths . Because most questions are repetitive they have similar idea but different scenario if you understand stem of question then you can do it …

i think they're like the indian equivalent of "12th standard" exams, basically your grades and subject choices determine what you can do at uni and whether u get into uni
tbh, i don't think its necessary, lol i actually dropped it after AS, have a video on that, but its pretty useful to have if u want to keep ur options open
