I answered this question once when it was asked in a group. I told them that your client should pay for the service. I also told them to just pass out your cards and connect with people. When I started my 360 business, I did that once and it was the worst experience ever. I was there for 12 hrs and made less than $100. I tell everyone who want to do that is that’s the quickest way to not be taken seriously. Most people look at you like you are begging them for money. Now, I am insulted when someone ask me to do that.

We had an event on Saturday where the host paid for prints but wanted to charge guests $10 per photo. The guests were visibly upset since they had already paid a lot to attend the event and expected the photo booth to be free. This led to an awkward situation because they assumed we were the ones trying to charge them, not the host.
