What’s your favorite weapon ?

What truly sells me to the carbine is not the 2 second shorter reload speed but the increased mobility while reloading and aiming

Lots of people think that the carbine and the pistols reload speed is the same. But thats only true if theirs a fifer boosting both people using those two weapons. But without a fifer the reload speed of both the pistol and carbine aren't the same. The reload speed of the pistol is 6.7s and the carbines reload speed is 7.7s, however with fifer they both become the same which is 5.36s. To me this gun is good for when you need to bail, like say your playing on a endless map like "Hougomont" and everybody except you die again'st the zombies forcing you to bail and run laps around the map while killing them. This gun is gonna be very good for that, because once you take care of all the runners, then you can easily kill all the non-runners with the carbine while running laps around base, because the gun hardly slows you down when you need to reload. Also in hardcore, I swear that even though headshot damage is removed, that somehow I'm still able to instakill some of them by shooting them in the head with it.

As a carbine user, I like using it as my average. If i’m feeling silly enough tho…. I might use the *Pike.*

Carbine + heavy saber is op, the carbine reloads faster and the walkspeed is faster while reloading, you can even shove zombies to save your teamates from gwtting eaten, 3 zombies eating your teamate? Shove and they all get stunned and its alot better than using the saber to save them, the heavy saber basically replaces the bayonet, not only that but the it does better than the saber

The Carbine is a good weapon. It's been called trash just because it doesn't have a bayonet. However, with the arrival of the Heavy Sabre, you can use the Carbine while still maintaining the synergy with the Officer.

Look best thing about it is that if u are in a situation where lots of zombies are after u with the carbine u have the ability to shove them and run fast and even shoving and then slashing with the sword.

carbine is the 2nd fastest weapon to reload and you can shove zombies with it and it acts like a blunderbuss so ye, you should buy it

The reload time between Carbine and Pistol has a difference, but its by around 0.5 seconds, with the C arbine having 6.7 seconds and Pistol having 6.2 seconds.

my favorite is the nock gun, pike or the carbine (ill tell you why the nock is actually worth it) yea you might think its bad and all. but. you can skip your reload. you dont need to fully reload your weapon when you have as much shots as you like. you either unequip your gun and equip it again or left click it while you are reloading your shots. (idk how to do it on mobile im not a mobile player.)

nice video, now here are some things I disagree with. “Some people say the pistol is better than the carbine” who? personally I’ve never heard anyone say this (scratch that, officer fanboy has entered the chat), though if you can show a video where someone does indeed say that, I’d like to have a chat with them. (this isn’t really something wrong with the video itself, but it seems you just… didn’t read the wiki at all? you do know the stats for each weapon are listed IN DETAIL right? you didn’t have to test the stats of the weapon, but it’s not really a big deal and I guess it is good you did your own testing) “shamblers only have 50 health” sort of. the health of shamblers actual fluctuates depending on a variety of circumstances, such as what wave you’re on, how far you are in an objective map, what objective map you’re playing on etc. “just like the musket, the carbine takes 2 shots to kill zappers” again, this is only partially true. Like shamblers, zappers health changes depending on the map, wave and gamemode. “You need a lot of kills to use the charge ability with the officer class” once again, This is only partially true. Charge can be gained by killing zombies, yes, but it’s also gained by just hitting them. Couple that with the fact that headshots will give you more charge, and it actually doesn’t take nearly as long as you may think. I also think the way you portray the charge ability argument is a bit strange. Instead of coming up with an argument where you explain how the carbine’s abilities could be more beneficial than having the charge ability, you just… say you’ll never get enough charge to use it??? what the hell?????? Sir, you mentioned how you prefer to pick off bombers to support your team (very admirable btw), so may I ask… what happens when a zombie gets in your face? What so you do? That’s right, you pull out your melee weapon, which, on the officer class, BUILDS CHARGE. (The 25 second cooldown is annoying though). I do however agree with you on the fact that the carbine isn’t a bad gun. The carbine is a great gun, but is generally rendered obsolete on say 50% of maps. “The nock gun is a bad gun” Aaaaand I retract my last statement. Overall, the carbine is a great gun, but ultimately outclassed. I’d love to see it get a few buffs, cause as of now it’s just the awkward middle-ground of the pistol and musket, and I’d like to see that changed. (Edit: the extra accuracy is great too. Use the pistol on shorter maps.)

As a enjoyer of officer I can say that is a very underrated weapon

I play with carbine when the map is bad for pike and I’d rather a better pistol and hand axe over a Sabre than the charge ability from playing officer, it is kinda fun

Honestly i dont use both the carbine and musket usually because Blunderbuss is somehow more effective in waves or objective so i replace my line infantry musket into Piker if im bored

this video was 3 months ago but fuck it. In the new major update, the Carbine has an ability called "Shovel" as the pickaxe and axe have, which means the Carbine became more useful for holding the horde longer and saving teammate from ambushed. Edit: Imagine you are reloading your gun and see your teammate got grabbed by the horde, all you need to do is shovel them and continue reloading, plus all the guns in gnb have a reloadcheckpoint.

Yes you should, no bayonet yes but faster reload + shove is goated, the new heavy saber is basically a bayonet anyway, even does an officer charge the same. Get carbine it’s rlly good and pair it with heavy saber

It Dosnt really matter what weapon you get the stats aren’t always true so it’s better to just unlock weapons for the sake of it an use them when you want to

I like the carbine more due to the musket not feeling right and idk why.

Carbine I think is best because now it has a shove ability making it good for runners because you might not expect them and it’s easier to hit them when they’re still. And I know you might be saying “axe can shove too🤓.” But answer this can you shoot the axe? No And carbine has better damage as well. And the axe you have to press the button twice to shove so you can counter a zapper’s axe So the carbine is better to shove if a runner is really close. And it’s reload got buffed and now it has the same reload as pistol. And before the update I didn’t really care about carbine but now I think it’s the best weapon I now main line infantry.

Hypothetical situation why the carbine is better than officer: you are the last player left in endless and there is a huge horde of the final zombies left. If there are runners you can one tap them and they’re down, and for the rest you can just mow them down with the carbine from a distance or while running from the horde because they can’t hit you due to the carbine not slowing you down when you are reloading. In this situation, Carbine is better than playing officer because you aren’t risking letting yourself get grabbed or accidentally hitting a bomber with your Sabre but you’re also decently fast with your gun so you’re practically untouchable from all zombie types in the game minus runners ofc. TLDR; playing carbine is like playing solo as an officer, it allows for far range and close range attacks with great defense without added worries such as reload speeds and reload slowing down your walk speed, making for the perfect zombie evasion build

OFFICER GAMING in most maps accuracy doesn’t really matter because the map portions are pretty small, only catacombs de paris really matters
