"Should You Go First" is an intermediate level harp solo by Anne Crosby Gaudet. The piece was inspired by a poem of the same name by Albert Rowswell (1884-1955). The quiet, introspective mood shines with heartfelt expression in the A aeolian mode.

Hi Anne, are all your harps cherry please? I have to admit, I thought you had a walnut harp as well. Is that right, or are all your harps in cherry wood?

The fall colors are glorious here in Nova Scotia at the end of October. I imagine this will be one of the last outdoor videos that I will be able to do before it's too cold. This piece will be featured on my new album, Remembrance which releases on all your favorite music streaming platforms on November 1.

wonderful Anne, Fall is beautiful right now in the Pacific Northwest also. This is such a soft melody, Peaceful, Thank you for these songs lately, I love the poetry aspect also.

Such beautiful music, as always! I've been wondering, in comparing your two Dusty harps, do the advantages of each model over the other basically come down to the FH34 being smaller, lighter, and more easily transportable and the FH36 having a bigger sound, or is there more to it than that (not necessarily getting into staveback vs square back)?

I love both of my Dusty harps! It’s nice to have the slightly smaller and more transportable FH 34, however what drew me to that harp was the tone. I just love how it sings, it’s so much fun to play.
