Should You Have a 3rd Child? Here's the Honest Truth 

Why am I watching this? I don't have any kids or even a girlfriend.

Mine are 4 and 7 (girls❤️) and I never find they grow too fast, relieved to have gotten this far. I couldn't handle more than 2 but love seeing how every family has their perfect number.

I had a girl then a boy and *in the hospital* the nurse was like "perfect, you're done now!" I was so gobsmacked. I definitely want a third, haven't done it yet. Not sure if I want more than 3, but definitely want a third.

Me and my husband have been thinking about having a 3rd baby. And I was so anxious until I saw this video thank you 😊 I feel so much more calmer than I was before.

I got the SAME comment when we found out our 2nd was a girl (1st was a boy), someone at my church goes "oh, good!! You can be stop now!!" 😅🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Pregnant with my third child now. I’m like you, I don’t do pregnancy well. We are definitely done. My eldest two are 9 and 6 so we will have plenty of help!

I am considering a third because I think I will regret it if we will stick with two. But so many things are going through my mind. Me and lack of sleep don't go together haha and I still did not loose the pregnancy weight of nr 2. What about the car? How will I manage without a support system.... questions questions. Made me laugh too with the hcg levels 🤣 ...although I had no health issues I hated being pregnant generally felt rough and after 2 c-sections I also had a lot of pain at times and a rough ride at times. But we are having a 3rd and I’m actually realistically scared for the first time. With the other two we were sort of riding a wave and not fully in reality and after having two close together we got a massive reality check 😅 having said that, my third baby is already here in my heart and mind so I just have to suffer through 9 months and another c-section and I hope it’ll all work out well 😊 I came from a 3 and it’s a great number I think x

I am currently struggling with this question. I had grown-up knowing I wanted 3 kids. Life has, so far, thrown many surprises at me and I am now almost 33 with an 11yo and 5yo (both surprises). And I'm now at the point where if I'm having a 3rd it needs to happen now, but hubby has decided he's happy with just 2 and we're at an impasse. Unlike other moms, I love the big age gap between by kids because I can only handle one baby/toddler at a time as I also work full-time. Health issues are also pressing on me because I have bad pregnancies, but I do have a great support system around where we live. I'm just so torn because hubby is against a 3rd, even though he's always known I wanted 3, but I feel I will regret it forever if I don't complete my family.

I am really struggling with our third child as he is 9 days old, third boy. I have 6&3 years old. I did have postpartum depression with our second one. We don’t have a supportive system around us, my husband works full time and studies phd. I am in complete fear right now :(

I feel so conflicted. We have a 12 yr old daughter and 7 month old son. He was planned, we were finally ready with life circumstances. I'm strongly considering a third but really worry about the impact it could have on my eldest. She is used to a calm environment and bringing in this high needs colicky boy was so hard on her in the beginning. I also struggle with wondering having 2 so close if it would make her feel left out. I definitely thought I was done after 2 but I'm not so sure now.

Im 26 y/o & my husband is 30, we have two daughters 5 & 1 y/o. We ttc 4 months ago but we didn’t succeed. Now I’m glad I didn’t get pregnant 😅. In having so many overwhelming days with my girls and I already had the vasectomy talk with my husband. Which was on the same pg as me to stay with only 2 kids but after that talk I thinks he has doubts now. I also have doubts, i gave away all my 1y/o baby clothes, bassinet and newborn items, cuz i felt me seeing there her baby stuff made me want a 3rd baby. He said he would think about it and then he would talk to his dr about the idea. 🤪 why is it so simple and at the same time so hard 😩. I can’t make uo my mind I overthink things too much. And I think even though im putting pressure on my husband on why is not a really good idea to have a 3rd one he is doubting so much cuz maybe he does wants a 3rd one and maybe get the boy. 😲😲😲😲 😬😬😬😬

I'm glad I found this video! I'm mentally wrestling myself whether to try for a third or not. Ours is a bigger age gap between our two girls - they're 2 years and 5 months apart. We are still getting used to this transition, our youngest is now 16 months and her big sister loves her but also has phases where she's angry or jealous. It's hard thinking about having a third one when I'm not sure when/If at all our eldest will be 'content' about having to share our affection etc. Maybe we waited too long and that's why it's been a harder transition as she was almost 2 and a half when baby sister came. Idk. I still yearn for a third, though..

I have an 8 year old step daughter & 5.5 year old step son. I just had my first (biological) child a couple months ago. I want a 3-4 year age gap between kids so that they're more independent. I know I want at least 1 more... Sometimes 3 bio kids seems very appealing but I'm already taking care of so many kids & idk what we can afford yet so it's tough. 😅 Some people act like I'm very selfish for wanting 3 bios, they say that I gave up my ability to have more than 2 kids because I became a step mom and thus already have so many... I love them all but that feels like such an unfair attitude. I still have an ideal number in my heart, I don't see why I wouldn't deserve it just because I fell in love with someone who was already an awesome father. :/ I'm not intimidated about having 4 kids (2 step 2 bio) but I am intimidated about balancing 5. We'll figure it out!

I'm considering having baby nr 3 but so far my husband isn't on board. He feels we have everything because we have a boy and a girl 15 months apart, but I don't feel done. Both my pregnancy's were not the best experience and I feel I need to do it right one more time, we are just at a place after 5 years where we are ready, emotional and financial wise. Relate a lot to your video. Thank you for advising us! I’ve got so many thoughts about a 3rd. My children are also 18 months apart and my HCG levels were high both pregnancies causing me to be sick from 6 weeks until delivery. I can do that again, but I’ve got to think about doing that with a 4 year old and 2.5 year old and it doesn’t sound great. Then again, I definitely feel ready to “get it over with” as you said and have our last baby and close the baby chapter.

Hi can anyone help me..we have 2boys already..13&7..in my heart I still want a 3rd but there's this feeling inside that scares me..I also don't have a birth control..I'm scared that what if I get a surprise pregnant on 40's can I still take care of the baby.im 36 now BTW..and my husband is not a fan on ligation..my husband is very supportive in every aspect.

I just found out I was pregnant with a third, I was not expecting to be pregnant and not planning to have anymore. I feel so sad and almost feel guilty because my other two are age 6 and 4 and I just want to give them all of my attention I don't want to split it with another baby. I've been so sad, is this normal ? I've been heartbroken because of the age gap, like you said I'm worried it's going to be difficult to do things as a family 💔

I guess it can also depend on your financial situation. If you are rich, then by all means have as many as you absolutely desire! On the same hand if you are poor, again why not have more? You will most likely be getting government assistance. If you aren't rich or poor enough to qualify for assistance. Then you in the middle WILL notice that extra hit on your budget. Those in the middle anyway.

omg.. and Im here, 33 y/o, no kids yet and deciding whether to have one or not. I love freedom, spend money for myself, have me-time all the time and love to travel and sleep. I guess Im sadly not a candidate to even have one and cant get to my head how life would be with 3. Im stressed out of thinking about it

I don’t have a good support system other than my husband. We move a lot, military family, we live two hours from family now and yet no one has come over to help me… and I’m 6 month pregnant with my 3rd and my other two are 10 month apart…

A friend was like don't have a third baby, and this is after having a third baby herself. Felt a bit unfair, but yeh it's best to brush all comments aside

I have 2 kids, my youngest is 4 and so grown up. I thought I was done. I told myself I don't want to be pregnant again because it's so hard, and now the kids are older why would we start all over again. My husband told me last night he would phone the Dr about a vasectomy and I felt my heart stop. No! Wait, what?! I know we talked about it but I realised I'm not ready to say goodbye to my children that I haven't met yet.. I always said "3 is my maximum number of kids" so maybe I'm not done. I'm very torn. We have one of each currently, I think if we didn't we would have had a 3rd child already.

I get that all of the time oh you have a boy and a girl so your done.. you don’t need anymore. I didn’t want another baby at the time but I figured I would later on.
