Should You Play Shadow in 2024? 

Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) has the unique distinction of being the only game where Maria is playable. Its worth playing for that alone tbh

I would play shadow the hedgehog (2005). I don’t care if it’s a careless game or not. I love playing it because it’s fun.

I would say you gave this game a fair shake overall.

If there's one thing I'd say about the "slipperiness" in the game's control. There are numerous ways to stop Shadow. Releasing the Stick, Pulling in the opposite direction to do the Skid Stop, or my favorite way-- Strafing with the R Trigger which also gives Shadow a decent jog if you wanna do flips

I'm glad you played with this mod. Around the beginning of this year, I started replaying 3D Sonic games, starting with the first adventure game, and 2-3 weeks ago I replayed all the levels of Shadow the Hedgehog Reloaded. And the most interesting ones for me were achieved at rank B or A (and believe me, getting rank A with this mod is probably even more difficult than in Unleashed). Despite some levels that can only be described as a chore due to the labyrinthine level design with a bunch of monotonous rooms, some other levels in my opinion are an excellent showcase of the adventure formula with a great sense of epicness, speed and flow (the best for me are Air fleet, GUN Fortress, Lava Shelter). I really like the fluid controls in the game, the character never suddenly changes direction or suddenly breaks away, everything is very natural and smooth and every movement uses physics. This game has better momentum than any other 3D Sonic game, I swear. It's such a shame that they scrapped it and replaced it with the completely wooden Sonic 06 controls.

Here’s a few Minecraft Story Mode what ifs I can think of. 1. What if The old order of the stone actually did kill the ender dragon and didn’t use the command block? 2. What if Jesse and Friends weren’t allowed to use Armor? 3. What if Petra or Gabriel died from Wither Sickness? 4. What if the potion wasn’t stolen by Axel and the wither storm was never summoned? 5. What if Jesse lost his/her Memories? 6. What if Olivia and Axel actually went through the portal with the rest of the team? 7. What if Petra and Lukas weren’t chipped, but instead Jesse and Ivor? 8. What if Olivia had Wither Sickness?

You can actually use Super Shadow with a mod I think and yes for PS2, it actually allows you to fire infinite Chaos Spears exactly like in the last fight and you can go up & down, there's a video on it and no, Super Shadow can be used endlessly compared to the normal fight & there's no activation needed. I dont have a proper system or access to the mod or whatever it is to know how he does in all levels of the game but I'm guessing really good.

Glad to see the fan perception of this game turning around, while i wouldn't call it a masterpiece this game is essencially just team chaotix with guns, it's never deserved the infamy it seems to maintain because the game was never BAD like most sonic fans seem to think, it's C tier at worst. Hell i'd even be down for a remaster basic dolphin enhancements like upscaling to 1080P textures & increasing the render distance show what the game could look like without being held down by 6th gen hardware ( Digital dimension is the prime example of this it's so foggy and low res on gamecube they must have clearly been struggling to make it reach 30FPS but it looks so good on dolphin )
