Should you pull for Luocha, Fu Xuan, or Aventurine?

This is my prediction, next healing exclusive relic set will turn a portion of healing into shield when it exceed maximum health. That will help Luocha, it might even help healing over time like Natasha, Lynx, Huo Huo into shielding every turn. I never cope this hard before.

Like you mentioned this game loves the idea of "archetypes", aventurine fits perfectly on the FUA archetype and just gives good consistent sustain across the board. Luocha is the be all end all comfy sustain because of how many built in "saves" he has, while also having the strip and decent toughness damage. Fu just feels like the "CRIT" sustain with a BIS scenario on mono Quantum, she just makes everything more consistent. HH is the premium clease and battery unit, dot niche. They're all great overall and a massive upgrade vs 4*, I'd say pick the one that fits the archetype you're investing more on and the character you like most.

Here is my best argument for Luocha: As Acheron is so broken, to counter the meta, very soon we are going to see stages with mobs that have debuff immunity, this will immediately make Loucha viable because Buff removal is an incredibly underrated part of his kit. In addition just like debuff immunity is a meta so is buff removal, as shielding is a buff, this will also increase value of healers. these things along with his skill point efficiency and ease of use, I think still makes Luocha a top tier unit.

All luocha really needs is a DPS that has a talent that turns surplus heals into shields. That way your team will not get 1 shotted, while we're at it let's say once the shield is capped the incoming heal turns to energy in that way luocha also turns into a harmony unit

Fu Xuan has carried me so hard in this game, regardless of the other team members. I will pull on her eidolon every time she pops up until she is E6. I will die after she is E6 because my life will be complete.

Few reasons why I got luocha 1. Started in 2.0 (skipped black swan / dhil) 2. Lore, kit, husbando 3. Needed a better healer (abundance), my best 2 were e0 lynx and e0 bailu I still don’t know if my impatience will wait for fu Xuan but I wanna try skip aventurine (save me some $$) and just e0s1 jingliu (maybe e1s1, we’ll see)

I'm curious to what people's thoughts are about yangqing stocks going up with the introduction of a new limited banner shielder. While it's not as obvious of dr + topaz teams you can still get FUA value as well

I lost a 50/50 to Gepard back in the Black Swan patch. I haven't built him yet, been using Huo Huo and Lynx for now. Don't have Fu or Luo but I do have a Bailu unbuilt as well. Would you roll for Adventurine or just properly invest in Gepard?

I have loucha and huo huo and I get one shot often in su end game, thus why I'm getting aventurine (not fu xuan cuz I like aventurine cuz of character)

btw with removing debuffs its not just pela and luocha, luka E can do it also!

When field is active, it’s best to hold the ult. wait for it to disappear and ur back at 0/2. If the enemy gets a buff, use it, if luocha heals and u get 1/2, instantly trigger the ult.

i havent seen the whole video yet but I would assume that if you have huo huo, u should pull one of the preservation characters and just skip luocha. Pros and con of each character: Adventurine: pros -His shield gets buffed like crazy in simulated universe. -His shield can stack meaning you can adjust skill usage depending on enemies. -He does non negligible dmg from his abilities and gets a crap ton of crit rate when you stack DEF. -He increases the damage ceiling of your team since your crit damage is increased overall. -he himself resists cc debuffs when he gets his FUA -his ultimate counts as a debuff for acheron slashed dream and dr ratio trace and talent buff -can be used with trend light cone for acheron without losing much shield -pretty good break that can be paired with boothill and acheron Cons: -knight of purity palace is likely his best 4pc which means that you lose a lot of value when grinding to the lightning set which not many characters use -loses a debuff without his signature light cone(unless you use trend but its trash if the enemy has burn res) -does less dmg without his signature -loses a lot of team dmg(less comparative to fuxuan without lc) without his lc Fuxuan: -provides crit rate to your characters which leads to a more consistent clear. -is quantum which is cracked with sparkle mono quantum with either seele or qq -does non negligible damage in mono quantum sparkle teams -literally prevents you from getting cc for the whole team -she does not die unless ur doing conundrum 5 but to be fair its evil -you can farm relics and get messenger and blade relics simultaneously meaning grinding is very efficient cons -theres not really anything that would increase her hp other than her lc -loses a lot of energy regen without her signature -e1 is a significant team damage increase

I already own Fu Xuan so I'm just going to pull for Aventurine. The main idea being I'd have a second sustain for another team instead of everyone fighting over my Fu Xuan. Also I am dabbling in PF so he's going to be really nice for that. The one problem I have is I want to pair him with Ratio and unfortunately I can't hand over Pela or SW for debuffing for him since my Acheron team uses them both. Oh well. I feel like I have enough damage units atm anyway so I think Aventurine is the second smartest thing for my account. Next to getting cracked harmony units. (rip me skipping mei,houhou, and sparkle.)

Fu Xuan is also good for mutliwave since the passive healing between them, and thought the Eidolon gives protection from one shots. I think damage blocking / mitigation > healing.

Aventurine is fun af to play a preservation unit with strong shields that stacks and with aoe follow up attacks and he's drippy with cool looking animations skipping on him would be insane

Huohuo e1 is pretty under rated. Team up with RM speed buff.

i think 4 sustains is gonna be my end game goal fu xuan for crit healing aventurine for crit shielding huo huo for DoT healing and insert future sustain for DoT shielding but its not something im really prioritising though since i have gepard and fu xuan already

You should pull for ruan mei and welt. If the enemies are dead or never get to attack then why do you need sustain.

If fu xuan is in 2.2 I will probably be skipping aventurine. Only if there's a character I don't want/need revealed to be in 2.2 I'd go for him, but I'm satisfied with my gepard for now, while I need better sustain options for my mono quantum team

Luocha’s buff stripping is so niche since some boss’ buff cannot be removed

I'm rolling for Aventurine cuz Gepard isn't good enough for me. The fact that his skill lets me get shield is huge, as a problem with Geppy for me is that I ult to get shield, boss makes one attack and most of the shield is gone and some characters are already taking damage. That would be fine for Aventurine but by time Gepard gets his energy to have another shield, my team is already dead.

I wanted Aventurine because he seems like an almost strictly better Gepard who I run all over the place, but I also wanted Acheron really badly because she's got the coolest ult in the game and... I just want her, OK? I missed my 50/50 at 84 pulls and then went to 79 pulls before getting her, so as a f2p I'm dead broke and will probably miss out on Aventurine. If the 4 stars on his banner are good I might still drop what Jade I do have into it in the vain hope of getting lucky and nabbing him, at least I'll build some pity.

It also dun really see the luocha hate as only hate. I also see this as gacha addicts wanting their voices of the game validating their gamba picks/spending picks. There should be no reason to hate a CC because of his views on a character.

Lmao, I've got nothing to worry about in regards to this. I have Luocha, Fu Xuan and I'm getting Aventurine too, have guaranteed and 99 pulls saved for him. No I do not have any limited damage dealers. Is it a problem? Yes, definitely, it's a *big* problem. Am I gonna stop pulling for sustainers? Not until they stop making them look so damn good.

Yeah I feel like Luocha is kinda a bait character now. They waited a while to re release him but I feel like his time in the sun has past. He’s good at what he does and is a very comfortable character that can fit anywhere, but the trend we are seeing now with 5* characters is that start to cross paths. Fu Xuan is a good example since she is a preservation unit, with Harmony aspects (increase in crit rate). I would guess that soon they will release another abundance unit that will provide extra things buffs on top of healing. Im personally not pulling for him with the view that by 2.4 he’ll simply be powercrept

at this point luocha's arguably bis for blade but only arguably bc a lot of people will argue lynx is better bc she can increase blade's max hp and aggro so he gets hit more in all honesty i agree that lynx is probably better i do see why people argue luocha is better but personally i want blade to get hit more so i get more follow ups which is also why i want jingliu bc she can contribute to that as well ofc luocha does heal more than lynx and is skill point positive but if blade is the only one getting hit and is being healed by his follow up attack then it doesn't matter that lynx's heals aren't as strong plus blade doesn't use a lot if skill points even with jingliu she doesn't need them while in her state plus e1 bronya also doesn't enough skill points to matter (bringing up bronya bc she's bis for blade) so you can get away with using a skill point negative sustain here so even here luocha isn't always the go-to sustain depending on the player's preference and thoughts plus the team they have set up btw this video convinced me that aventurine is going to be the best sustain to pull for so far (for me at least) he's just as if not more comfy based on that breakdown of his kit than gepard tbh (huohuo will always be my favorite healer tho)
