So you mean if you make it 80k you have to pay 10percent of that. I doesn’t work like the max you have to pay is 1.5 times 14950 which is 22500 lump sum

Good question: the amount would be 667 per month and you would pay a total of 22,425 ( 14,950 x 1.5) ...80,000/12 = 6,666.67 then take 10% of 6,666.67 which gives you a monthly payment amount of 667. I hope this helps!

Thats crazy. My isa is 36k but it is if you get a job making 50k or more and if you make 50 to 75k you owe 1000 per month for 36 months. If you make 76 to 100k its like 1200 for like 22 months. And if you make over 100k its like 1600 for 18 months. Its 36k eegardless not more if you make more.

I was looking GA too and when my recruiter said the ISA would turn out to be 22500 when the program is 14950 my mind instantly went to why am i paying more of what the course cost. So i said no, it seem like it is easier to take out a loan then when you get a job pay off the entire loan in like 3 or 4 months and move on with your life.

So in terms of the content… are these lectures from instructors or third party videos like linked in learning. Also are opportunities to learn skills in hands in labs. Thank you for the great explanation. I have no problem with ISAs if I can move into my field of study professionally.

Yes the lectures are actual professors and we had daily labs.

is it true if you dont get a job of 40k minimum salary 48 months after bootcamp do you not owe anything?

You will still owe with an ISA, they will just give you more time to find a job so that you can start paying it back.

So it is a better idea to sign up for regular loan right? At least that way I can build credit. The bootcamp I am looking for has an ISA option or credit climb loan.

I am not familiar with a credit climb loan but if it has a standard payment no matter what your income is then I would go for that. Just make sure you read the fine print and its something that you can manage if there is a longer wait period between you finishing the bootcamp and finding a job. Hope this helps!

I believe the program is capped at 22k plus… in other words the more u make the more u pay but u won’t pay $833 for 48 months it’ll be less more like 27 payments of $833… not 48 months.. so in a little over 2 years you’ll be done paying that.. lol I think that’s the way it works

Yea that’s how it works! My point was about the price not the amount of time. $833 is still a lot per month regardless of the length of time 😅 thanks for pointing that out!

I just talked to an advisor earlier and the cost went up to $15995 and 1.5 times that is almost 24k. Should I ask for a scholarship? Other bootcamps can be a bit cheaper but they don't offer ISA

Yes definitely ask about a scholarship or do a google search!
