I have the Ozark Trail 30 oz tumbler for only $8 at Wal-Mart. Lifetime warranty too. Ice is still in the cup overnight.

I have both and they work the same. The lockup on the lid on my yeti is better and has a more solid feeling in terms of quality

I have 3 yetis and 2 ozarks they function exactly the same. You're only paying for the name on the cup. I hear they're even made in the same factory in China.

I like Rtic as well. They don't cost as much as YETI but perform the same. I have some Ozarks as well, just not the small size. Its nice to see someone doing a normal video with these cups. Some do extreme tests and nobody would use them like that. Every day use vids like this is what we need. Great as always Aaron.

Great review as expected. Drinking temp for hot drinks is between 120 and 130 so the Ozark wins for me either way. The tinted cover is handy in a sunny outdoor setting too.

I got a yeti rambler, the small mug looking one with no handle. It is my favorite coffee cup now. I don’t use the lid with it ever. I find the lid isn’t designed right, maybe they have to make the breather hole bigger? But the liquid doesn’t want to come out until you tilt it pass a certain point then it come gushing out in your face. So there’s some kind of vacuum going on or something. So I use it like a regular coffee mug. It holds heat way longer than a regular mug without the lid. Which is good for me because I’m always doing things when drinking coffee. I’d recommend it, but if you want to use the lid get another lid or another cup. It also doesn’t fit in my 2019 Tacoma cup holders, but fits in my fords bigger cup holder.

My brother got me a spill proof lid for the yeti.... it literally only lasted 3 days, not sure where he got it but it was not up to the durability of the included lid, replaced it with the mag slide lid which addmitedly is only slightly better then the included lid for spills, but in my job it's enough of difference between needing 2 paper towel sheets and a wad. While this thing might perform almost as well as the yeti and I definetly wont knock it for the price as it looks like a really good value, the main reason I love the yeti is it first is the perfect size for the max outpouring of my Keurig and 2... it's the only cup that fits perfectly in the odd sized cup holder closest the driver in the middle by the dash in my 2007 ford focus

YETI, IMO are over charging their customers for what they offer. I switched over to Ozark last year and do not regret it at all. Equal performance for 1/3 the price? Yes, I will take that.

Can you fit the yeti 10oz in the car door pocket? I know they obviously don't fit in thee cup holder but I know the door pocket water bottle holder section is bigger on all cars etc

They are the same except you can buy three Ozark Trail cups compared to one yeti. One suggestion about the Ozark Trail when you go to buy one check the lids. Some are super tight and try to roll the gasket so get one that's right in the middle. Not too loose And not too tight

Neither! My Yeti works as advertised, but coffee tastes so much better in ceramic. I hardly use the Yeti anymore because coffee tastes terrible in it.

A little late but good review. I use the Ozark just for dollar to Dollar savings. I own a Yeti as well and it does what it is supposed to but it wasn't worth the $40 price tag compared to the Ozark. Good review subbing!

I actually got a "Yeti" style mug at Home Depot on clearance for $2.50 recently and it works awesome! Go with the cheaper one...it's just not work spending the money on Yeti.

Only difference I see the ozark says it's not dishwasher safe on the label. When I googled yeti it said those where dishwasher safe

Yeah I'm all about the Ozark. I drink my hot stuff fairly quickly anyhow, and the fact that the form factor is a little more cup holder friendly is a big factor for me. I'm not even sure that I'd take a cup I couldn't close down in my car anyhow though.

I really love your channel and try to watch all your videos, you put out great info and reviews. That being said, the couple of degrees of difference after one hour in your "warm" test is "not significant" from a scientific point of view. It would probably be very difficult for someone to take a sip from each cup and tell much difference at all. I can't justify spending the money for Yeti when Ozark gives you essentially the same (if not identical) performance at 1/3 to 1/4 the price. At this point, the only reason to buy Yeti is for the "look at me" factor.

I honestly would not be able to tell the difference between 130 degree tea and 138 degree tea. They are both to hot for me to drink. Great review, and I know someone who has both and can't tell the difference either.

i have one of each, i can concur, you are paying for the name, the ozark trail is no different that the yeti. all if my ozark trail gear is good quality stuff, my ozark trail fixed blade knife is one of the best knives ive ever owned and i have some knives that cost 10X what i paid for it.

The Ozark Trail is the clear winner, and it's not even close IMO. Performance is pretty much equal. But the Walmart tumbler is so much cheaper. Thanks for the video.

The price means nothing to me, only that it isnt fussy. i bought a yeti, artic trail, and rtic and kept the yeti. Magslider is dope and the lid is very secure. Cant say the same for the other two.

To add to that, I have an rtic soft cooler that molded underneath the plastic interior that was supposed to be sealed. Warranty wasnt honored.

The Ozark is clearly slimmer in design which affects the double layer aspect. If they had the exact dimensions they would perform the exact same. I think Ozark just tried to be a little more ergonomic and if cost them a few degrees on the hot side. Minor detail for a $14 difference. Slap a coozie on it lol.

I almost pulled trigger on a Yeti coffee type mug at Marvin's for $25 w/o lid, but was told to first check out youtube where Yeti vs Ozark Trail are compared, and like the commentator here said, Yeti won some and so did Ozark. No dog in this fight, but for some the tipping point will be Yeti's public separation from the NRA.

For the price difference and the Yeti is just keeping the liquid a few degrees warmer, the Ozark is definitely the better value. I bet they're made in the same factory in China. If you look at some of the other tumblers, they are the same exact cup with the same lid.

3:47 A little nerd talk here. The temperature of the water cannot physically increase until all of the ice has melted because of the latent heat of fusion. So, you would always get the same temp for both cups as long as ice is still present. Your drink is actually, literally, ice cold!

what I dont like about the ozark is the taper at the top. Have burned my mouth a few times because it is difficult to control the flow. Yetti better, no taper.

I don't understand your reasoning. You said that the Yeti will keep your drink hot, but that the Ozark won't. But it was only a few degrees difference for 1/3 the price. What's the matter with you ? You've been paid off by yeti.

Im not seeing over twice the performance out of the YETI . Id say Ozark wins . only 7 degrees difference after an hour and a half ? Id rather pay 6 than 20 for that kind of difference .

Neither one. The Maverick has the insulation properties of a Yeti, a price point about equal with the Ozark, and a lid infinitely better than the Ozark, and probably better than the Yeti.

Stanley bottles haven't been manufactured in the US since PMI bought them out in 2002.

@@ek7achr0me Thank you for pointing this out, I researched a bit on their website and they are sourced from many countries, but manufactured in China. I still believe they are of better value than either Yeti or Ozark, but it does impact my view of Stanley.

@@kyleduddleston4123 Late reply, But yeah, I would pick a Stanley over a Yeti or Ozark if I were camping or doing something that I had to have a hot or cold drink keep temp. Other than that I'm fine with Ozark. Yeti is overpriced out the rear and offers nothing to merit the price hike.
