Always remember that what ultimately matters is that BSG fix the memory leak issue that's been plaguing poor Tarky for too long. Leaking RAM usage in the high 20gbs on large maps like Streets is insane, so as I said before it's not our job to get workstation/server level amount of RAM for just one game, but BSG's job to finally fix the memory leak and other performance issues. Until then I'm not going back to playing live Tarkov. Thanks for taking the time to make the video either way Pyur, appreciate that. 🙂
No, I don’t think 32 vs 64 matters. What does matter is having an X3D chip, those are insane for tarkov. I’m seeing the 5800x3d and 7800x3d get 30-50% more FPS than 13/14900k…
Dude I just upgraded my whole pc except for my graphics card (I have a 3060, saving up money for a new card.) but I got the 7800x3d and I'm getting like 30 more frames on all maps.(like 115 fps in 1440p) It runs so much smoother than my i5 9600k ever did lmao
my pc would BSOD all the time during loading into streets. some troubleshooting later, i bought 64gb, never happened again. and before someone says it was faulty hardware: it happened to me on two different computers. a workaround was to increase the pagefile.. during loading into the raid you could see in the task manager how tarkov just ate all al lthe ram, and when it reached the 32gb, it would crash. performancewise it didnt make a difference
I recently switched from 32gb 3600mhz with a i7 12700k to 32gb 6000mhz cl30 and 7800x3d. There are no stutters and frametime is insane and fps got a boost by maybe like 20-40 fps in tarkov offline. everything just feels more responsive which is night and day and fps boost in all games ive tried.
Depends on VRAM! When I had RTX3080 with 10GB VRAM I used a lot of RAM and I upgraded to 64GB. But than I upgraded to RTX3090 with 24GB VRAM and RAM usage went down. For example I use 22GB of VRAM on woods and 26GB of RAM.
I'm completely shocked. My setup ryzen 7 5800x3d Rx 6700 xt 12 gb gddr 6, 40 gb ram 3200, having low temperatures on the cpu and gpu I get on streets 110-60 frames and even lower if I use long-range sights and AFMF 2 does not help at all when playing in 1080 and only medium textures. And at the location of the lighthouse ass fps in the area of 40 with long-range aiming. Literally a year ago everything was great
On streets at 1440p with the textures on high with 32Gigs of ram the ram usage is above 90%, I don't know if it affects performance but the system runs out of ram resources. On other maps or if lower the textures to medium, the ram usage goes below 70%.
Just for Tarkov its not worth it. But given I don't reset my computer for weeks on end and have tons of windows open while gaming it feels worth it, its a tiny amount of money spent on a hw upgrade compared to buying a new cpu mb etc, its like 75$ usd here.
yeah streets is insane right now, i have hope they will get it working better in future updates. Lighthouse used to run like crap too when it first came out but they managed to get it working well.
Playing PVE once last week the game started chugging the other day and I had to restart it because it was taking up 29 of my 32gb ram. Not a reason run out and upgrade because generally it's not an issue. Also imagine for PVP it's even less of an issue. Anyways my next PC will def have 64gb. Hopefully the 9800x3d and the 15900k come out soon so I can get on that.
in tarkov, RAM speed doesn't matter for X3Ds Does RAM Speed Matter for 7800X3D After AGESA 1007b? \\ 5200 CL46 vs 6400 CL30 vs 8000 CL36: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ac7CogESDeY.html Does RAM Speed Matter For The Ryzen 7000X3D Series? yepp.. this confirms it my hunch. i pulled out 32 gigs just for giggles to see whether it even feels less, bc my win was using only 5g out of 64 lol. tarkov didnt mind either, and that was pre .14 patch even. it maybe had some affect on streets or when i got swarmed by scavs but other than that same ocasional laggy feel. im still on 5600x and 3070, runing about the same.ish settings as you. cannot decide between 5800x3d or going full am5 since i have almost 2 computers to sell now lmao - fix ur shht Nikita
5800x3d is a good upgrade and the 96mb of L3 does good, but i would say go am5 because the clock speeds are higher and you get that sweet ddr5. Im saying this as a 5800x3d owner with 64gb of ram.
5700X3D is best bang for the buck and still in the elite category. 7800X3D is top dawg for now, seems like 9800X3D release is imminent though according to leaks.
3090, i9-10900k, 64gb of ram, no matter how high or low or varied my settings are, ingame, nvidia control panel, it doesnt matter. im always between 70-80 unless its streets. then its like 50-60
Unrelated to the ram, can we see another video of the legion go play online? Ive been looking at them for other games but this would be a seller for myself
What should I change/improve to get decent 60 fps at least in every map?. I run Streets on 50 but it is too unstable its unplayable, havent gone to lighthouse yet, reserve works like streets sometimes. My Specs: PCU Ryzen 7 3700 x RAM 16 gb (8x2 dual) GPU GTX 1660 Super MBU TUF Gaming X570 Plus I run on low settings, LOD 1000 mts. Detail level 2.5 Great video, thanks!❤
Hola amigo ,Will there be differences between PCI 3.0 and 4.0? I have a 3070 on a b550 pci 3.0 x16 motherboard, will I have to change the board to one with pci 4.0 for tarkov or will there not be a big difference? thanks pyur!!
hola, there will be ALMOST no difference, maybe a few % at most in actual performance. Here's an X470 video from a while ago: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n1CT0AlGwLg.html
@@pyurologie what would you recommend for 1080p I don’t wanna do 1440 but I want the best 1080p option..or am I better off just getting a card that can do 1440 and it will be better with 1080
after wasting money on buying all the top gear over the years, realized how much you don't need to spend to get the best performance. I still have all my top gear, but like to do a lot more content on the best balanced hardware setups
Litteraly performances in this game are just fucking weird, i recently i bought the pve and was playing well until the last patch, at a point that my 4090 and my 7950X was performing really good and since the last patch when i go in pve , my processor is used at nearly 10% and my 4090 at 40%, its make non sence. The percentage of use it's not good and i can see that in game, i have around 70fps in dorms. For some reasons, yesterday i just got the most weird shit... I was clearly below 80fps and i open rivaturner for seeking what's going on and look at my memory usage and saw 30000mb on 32000mb used ...
