Why Ramji Shamji brother for Poha it's one of the hyped and tasteless poha in Nagpur and suryakant saoji is another hyped and tasteless saoji joint I personally feel.
@@KarlRock yeah you should definitely go there.. The Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve located in chandrapur district, and it is around 100 km from Nagpur..

We visited Nagpur in 2012 and wow what a change has happened since then. We caught an overnight train from Pune to Nagpur but nothing like that Metro they have now. Cant wait to see the rest of the videos from around this area
From one hand he is fighting against one who is spoiling name of India by scamming people in India and father, mother brother sisters of outside country. From other hand he is spreading the beauty of india, hospitality of India, which is a true India. Thank you Karl Rock from bottom of heart of all true Indian ❤️
Thank you for visiting my city❤❤. Nagpur is growing very rapidly now. I won't say it is a perfect tourist city rn but the development in last 5 years is incredible and many upcoming development projects are under construction.❤
Holy shit man I never thought you'd ever visit Nagpur , it's not much of a tourist city apart from Deeksha Bhumi which is a place of Religious significance , I was so stunned to find out that you visited Nagpur , and dared to try Saoji food , It's of course incredibly spicy , but that's how it's supposed to be , I hope you enjoyed your visit , Nagpur's developing at a huge rate , we're not the ideal place for tourism or a perfect city yet but we're getting there at a remarkably fast pace , I hope you'll visit us perhaps in another a couple of decades , the city would've probably reached the same level as New Mumbai if we grow fast and keep on growing , I'm glad you visited us , Lot's of Love from Nagpuriyans 🙌
I’ve learnt so much from your vids even went to get a DnA test and turns out I have a very strong Indian past (family from and living in New Delhi) I’ve been learning Hindi and a lot about India and I’m realising how beautiful it is. I’m from the UK and we have so many Indians, Pakistani’s and so many other cultures, they’re such wonderful people. Thank you for sharing your experiences in incredible India and inspiring me to learn more about myself and for that I’m forever grateful to you ❤
Wow this is a very beautiful city... I live in Pune and I always thought other cities would be inferior but I'm amazed at how calm Nagpur is just like Pune..
Nagpur is better than Pune for living.. have lived in Pune and have multitudes of relatives in Pune and it's safe to say, nagpur is a better place. We only need jobs here otherwise no one from Vidarbha will ever consider Pune. And yeah, Karl actually showed the worst areas of Nagpur 🤭 The city is way beautiful and pleasant athan captured here.
Great video, I love your videos and appreciate how you try to portrait all sides of India. India is so vast and an incredible mix of tradition and modern which one could spend a whole life untangling. I travelled to India a few months ago and when I came back and shared about my trip with my European friends, I realised how many blatantly wrong stereotypes most people hold about India. They were surprised to learn that many cities had metro, for example. So I realise now how important it is to show all the facets of Indian society. India truly has everything, there is always something new to see and experience. Thank you for showing Nagpur
I lived in Nagpur for 5yrs when I was in school. It's a really nice city. Futala lake is the go to hang out place. Looks like a lot has changed for good near the lake. Also good to find out that Nagpur now has Metro. Good to see you had a good time in Nagpur.
You can consider visiting Tadoba tiger reserv forest. Many celebrities from all over the world visit that place. Thank you once again for visiting my Nagpur city 🙏
I’m learning Hindi as an English speaker and would also love to visit India. However, not sure if I have the confidence to go on my own. Maybe in the future🤔 Karl’s vlogs bring the culture and life of India to my home and his vlogs also help me in my learning the Hindi language. 👍👍😊
You are welcome. Rest assured most people do understand english . For us a person visiting from other country is as good as GOD. Almost everybody will extend maximum help possible. You need to be a bit careful.
Hey Karl, I am from Nagpur. I recently moved to Germany and here I was watching you eat Tarri Poha and salivating while I ate my usual lunch here. Ramji Shyamji is absolute one of the best places to have Tarri Poha.
Hello Karl this Is Gaurav from Nagpur...I am in this video at Suryakant Saoji Bhojanalaya...14:00 to 16:00...Thanks for uploading the video without cutting my bite....🥰
I knew you're gonna feel the spice when you said "Spicy". I've tried poha with lot of Tarri and even I started sweating. Btw, kadhi samosa is another popular Nagpuri breakfast
Loved the vlog, Karl! Nagpur has the world-famous Orange Barfi made from Oranges only, using pulp, peel and juice. I hope you don't leave this area without tasting and purchasing it!! Santare ki Barfi is an absolute must !!!!
Karl as a foreigner gives so much respect to unparalleled Yug purush Dr.Ambedkar. No wonder he inspired Karl. Hats off and thanks for all your respects.
I’m from Nagpur, glad to see that you visited our city 😊 Nagpur is also the Tiger Capital of India, you should definitely go for a jungle safari to spot some stunning tigers.
Arrived in Nagpur 3 days ago and will try to visit all these places + more. Randomly stumbled upon your channel today and can’t believe my luck at finding so many details. Thank you so much and keep up the great work!! Jay Bhim
Thank you for showing the world that what nagpur is famous for i.e. Dikshabhoomi. Nagpur is basically is the land of NAAG people in ancient india. Mostly people in india only know the history after the islamic invaders came but very few know about the india before islamic invasion
Lol no.. Not Naag but Gonds.. it was founded in 1704 by Gond King Bakht Buland Shah.. before that there is no history of Nagpur. Get your facts checked.
Great video. Visited Nagpur in 2006 as England were playing a test match. It’s changed a bit since then. Had a great time, met some lovely people. Enjoyed the food , didn’t find it too hot but didn’t try the pawa 😅
@@aadtie5633 one day I would like to. I went through it by train a few years ago and noticed a cricket ground. From memory I don’t remember the ground I visited being near the railway so presumably it’s a new one
Hey Karl, love the video. Very few people actually stumble upon Nagpur and I'm very happy that you have been here. Food is amazing here (as well as spicy, lol) as you have shown. You should try the traditional Varhadi food as its from the Nagpur region of Vidharbha; as well as VishnuJi ki Rasoi, he is a Nagpur (home) grown chef and has a popular Veg restaurant. :)
Hey Karl, glad you are in Nagpur and enjoying your time , well as a cricket fan i want to say that , Nagpur has one of the loudest and responsive audience in India, whenever there's cricket match in Nagpur , the crowd enjoys like anything . Also if you ever get a chance visit theatre /plays....not just for the show , but also for audience.
Karl, you should visit Kas plateau in western Maharashtra. It is the great place to visit in September-October. Flowers of different colors bloom there. So plateau looks painted in different color every week. It is a UNESCO heritage site as well.
Hey Karl I am from Nagpur, I glad to see you here. Apart from this I would suggest you to visit Gorewada, Pench and Tadoba National Parks, Maharaj Baugh Zoo, Adasa (Old Ganesha Temple), Swaminarayan Temple (You will see beauty of architect), Fun and Food Village. Thank you.

As a person living in Nagpur for 16 years, I think you should try the biryani culture here too!! There's a place called Zillah Biryani which makes a ton of Biryani at once and its very popular among locals. Also there's tiger reserves that are very beautiful as well. Dolly Chai wala has become a viral sensation too. Glad you came out to our city!! Tons of love
Hi karl.. Loved that you chose to visit less explored areas in Maharashtra.... I would highly recommend you to visit Chikhaldara hill station in Amravati district... May 200km west to nagpur.... But it a serene and beautiful hill station in this hot vidarbha region.
Hey Karl, Welcome to Maharashtra ! You can also visit some of the historic cities like Nashik, Pune. A place called Igatpuri near Nashik is very beautiful in monsoon (June- Oct). Green hills and lot of waterfalls. It somewhat feels like NZ.
Thank you for visiting Nagpur. I have been following your channel for more than year now, however, i didnt imagine you visiting Nagpur and trying Tarri Poha and Savji Mutton. Do visit couple of tiger researves as are couple of them and you would love the dense nature. Cheers!
Im so glad and happy to see you in Nagpur Karl❤❤❤ from watching your videos and to see you come to my city this has been a great journey for me with you and i feel satisfied that I've been watching you 😂 thank you a lott
It's awesome to see Karl in Nagpur. But this seems like a late upload. Because Dikhsha Bhoomi no longer has the supporting structure on the dome since the G20 event in March 3:49
They way you reacted while having the first bite of tarri poha was awesome 😂…. Welcome to my hometown and I hope you had a great time there…. You are doing a great job sir, thank you for your videos

Trust me Karl. I just googled "karl rock in nagpur" and u uploaded the video 3 hours before. And hell yeah nagpur is one of the cleanest city in india and if anyone is fan of flavour and spicy food. He/she should visit nagpur for its food. Nagpur has its known history from 1703 . But karl. I would suggest u to go to raigadh fort and learn about chatrapati shivaji maharaj . If u havent been there. Have nice journey. Love from sewagram 🤗
@@KarlRock if u want to eat in wardha i will suggest u some places. U will get authentic maharashtrian veg meal. 1. Tigaonkar zunka bhakar- go here for lunch. 11.30 am - 10 pm. How u shud order - 1 zunka bhakar 1 puran poli(kind of sweet). Or order a special thali with puran poli . Not evryone likes it. But yeah its authentic maharashtrian food since ages. If u want u can add anything from menu .And no non veg food is indias authentic food remember this. No one used to eat meat in india . I guess u know this. 2 . Shahi momos and cafe - order paneer kurkure momos ... It has a cafe and a tapri. Tapri opens at 5 pm. And cafe opens at 11.30 am 3. Hotel Kohinoor - biryani for dinner 😛. I dont think u will spent an entire day in sewagram. And ofcourse there are othe staple food available here like sewagram wada, samosa, idli, dosa, chole bhature, pav bhaji, wadapao chinese and manymore. But i would suggest u those three things. Google every location in map. U will find them. All the best. If u have visited sewagram already then its my bad. But no worries. Please do visit Maharashtra's very own chatrapati shivaji maharaj's raigadh fort in raigadh. People will love to see ur video of raigadh. U will come to know about the independence moment in india from the year 1630. If the guide will take u thru the history .
Hey, Karl even some of the Nagpurians say Medium Spicy. When you said a lot Spicy in the video I knew you wouldn't love. 🥹 Anyway, thanks for coming to Nagpur. Next time medium spicy, please.

Hi karl, hope you enjoy tour of Nagpur. Next time if you plan to revisit Nagpur, please come with your family and you can explore beauty of surrounding places like- Tadoba National Park(100 km from nagpur) Pench National Park (distance 60 km). Chikaldara
Good to see you in Nagpur, Karl! It isn't a very big city, a very peaceful and calm though, and that is the reason almost every Nagpuri loves this city. See you in Bangalore Open Air 🤘🏼
Yes over decades Nagpur was Congress stronghold. From babasaheb to gandhi nehru every one has important presence in nagpur. Nagpur is place where every religion has place. Even the rss is secular here.
You can used nagpur metro for anywhere you go ..people don't used auto normally in nagpur people used metro train for convince and very less cost than auto rickshaw 😊😊😊😊
Dr Ambedkar is not a inspiration for all people of India, His constitution discriminates people from so called Upper castes even today, He is revered by people who got quotas, jobs and freebies due to him, but he snatched those same rights from other castes. Dr Ambedkar shifted rights from one caste(brahmins) to another(dalits), he made the same system which favored people by their birth (caste based reservation) which he fought against throughout his life.
@@sanskarraut2014 why " just to people like you"?what did he do to make you think like that.Caste always always existed in india since hundreds of years..
Agree with u he is not inspiration for upper caste(especially Brahmin) because he is the only person in our history who destroyed the Brahmins hegemony and converted people back to their original religion i.e Buddhism. Now that people because of reservation(affirmative action)were able to hold some better position in many fields and that is what people like you are not able to digest and so you blame Reservation and Babasaheb Ambedkar for it. You people want reparations from Britishers what about us when are you people going to give us reparation.
He was fighting privileges of castes by birth right? so why he created same system for dalits? it is a hypocrisy, why you criticize ancestors of brahmins then? it becomes comepletely justified when dalits enjoy all state privileges by birth into certain caste, but you will cry about brahmins privileges? and leave the brahmins they are just 16% of general category? why your ambedkar snatched our right to equality ? he got scholarships from king to study further, why he made childrens of same king a second class citizen in this nation? are you aware of the fact that during 1820s in many schools from across south india to east india, Shudras students outnumbered brahmins students in number, well before ambedkar was born? why he lied to the world that shudras were denied education? you justifying this second class treatment against general category on basis of what brahmins (16% of general cat) did is totally shameful, child born into our families becomes entitled to this state sponsored discrimination, why should non brahmin general category (84% of gen cat) suffer? @@tps8323

I would like to express my sincerest gratitude towards Mr. Karl for sharing nostalgic journey through my hometown of Nagpur.Your comprehensive coverage of the city's significant landmarks triggered a wave of pleasant memories from my childhood years.Your detailed explanations and engaging storytelling style, I felt transported back to those cherished times spent exploring every corner of this vibrant metropolis. I spend my 22 years in Nagpur,i used to stay in Dharampeth area, beautiful people, beautiful language Marathi. Every week we friends used to visit Ambhajari lake,or seminary hills,or maharaja baugh. Long drive for us was koradi, Ramtek, etc. Tiger Reserve Tadoba is famouse across globe. Even in summer at 47-48 degrees we use to roam on Nagpur roads without any protection, just have a lemon water or lassi that's it for our protection. Thank you, Mr. Karl, for capturing the essence of Nagpur and allowing me to reminisce fondly on these treasured moments. Your dedication to preserving local history has made a lasting impact on countless viewers, including myself, and truly deserves recognition and appreciation.
This is a great video you almost visited 30% of the nagpur city, waiting for your more videos. For more part of the nagpur do visit dragon palace, khindsi lake, gorewada, tadoba, swami narayan temple, motha tajbag, pench, kekdanala, buddha bhoomi, guru dawra, churches, diamond crossing (one and only in asian) and many more.
Thank you Karl for beautifully capturing Deekshabhoomi and telling everyone about Dr. Ambedkar. As always your respect for indian food is amazing. You are so kind. ❤
