Should You Wear Cowboy Boots Everyday 

No one comments on runners, but when I wear my cowboy boots, someone will comment about them. I just nod and say thanks. Wear your cowboy boots everyday!

My entire footwear are sneakers. That’s what most typical New Yorkers have but when my wife and I took a trip down to Texas, she introduce me to a place call Cavender’s and I was skeptical about wearing cowboy boots but I picked up 3 pairs anyway and I am happy to say that not only do I look damn good in them but they’re more comfortable than any pair sneakers I own with insoles. I’m going to change my entire footwear to cowboy boots.

I got injured in the military and wound up with a broken back. They fixed it with stainless and titanium implants. I'm still walking and riding horses, but it's not a pain free deal. Cowboy boots with a heel certainly help with low back pain in my case. Flat shoes like tennis shoes just kill me. Consequently, I no longer own anything but boots. Besides, I'm a cowboy, so, yea...no Crocs or weird shit for me. ;)

I'm not getting any younger. Used to wear Roper boots with the low heel to conform with work attire. Now I wear traditional cowboy boots with the higher heal. Helps reduce/eliminate back/hip pain due to fatigue if I'm on my feet for half a day. Good quality calf length socks make a big difference.

I've gathered boots since 21 years old and grew up on Tremors (Kevin Bacon), Clint's movies and parts of Back to the Future, and other Western-based movies so the want for them was always there but I never could afford them. Since 21 yr old, I gathered probably around 8 or 9 pairs and gave some away due to them being too big or small. I now have a pair of Lucchese Classics that are a normal light-brown tanned color in which ever since I was a child, 3 things in a cowboy boot I wanted and I got all 3 in this one. I've got a pair of Innovations that were a pair bought for me that fit me perfectly, a pair of Justin's that fit perfectly in which look and feel brand new. Got a pair of Tony Lama's that are about half a size too small (learning and getting better at what fits my feet per brand and style) and lastly a pair of yard boots that I also have done many towns walks before I really got a good setup going. Also had other western-style work boots I've thrown out because they were no good quality steel-toe boots and the one soft toe was a pain to break in the instep (seen a video long after and regretted throwing those away, also tried soaking them with water but didn't walk around town with them on so the leather could stretch a bit).

I wear my Black Cherry Lucchese Size 9D every day. So darn comfortable.

I must agree with you buddy, cowboy boots give you tons of confidence and a sense of elegance; I am a fairly tall guy (6 feet), and cowboy boots with a western heel make me feel well dressed even when wearing a T-shirt and a ball cap. Wear them every day.... Monday thru Sunday !!!!! Love J toes and snip toes !!!!

Worn western boots most of my life. It’s harder to find affordable ones that fit these days for my size 12.5 AAA width feet! Had a pair of nokomis boots that fit perfectly and got them resoled 5 times before the cobbler said he couldn’t resole them anymore.

In my opinion cowboy boots are way more comfy than any runners and sneakers. The only time I wear runners is when lifting at the gym, but apart from that I’m in my boots( Justin bay apaches)

I have a 2 pairs of ariat cowboy boots and a pair thurogood heritage and woverine. Cowboy boots don't have near the amount of support that traditional 6inch work boots have and it shows in my case. I used to wear cowboy boots ever day for 6 years until my feel and back started to kill Me, that's when I got lace up work boots and that immediately fixed the pain. Now I only wear cowboy boots when I have to dress up or am in the woods for leg protection

i work at 2 shops, i have a black pair of ariat sierras for my resturaunt and some cheap rockys i originally got for construction. good look, good feel, and i cant seem to kill them.

I always wear Cowboy or engineer biker boots, either USA made or Mexican. My USA made boots CAROLINA, ACME, DURANGO, Mexican boots include POTTAWATOMIE and SIETE LEGUAS. And a pair of Spanish JOHHNY BULLS. and a pair of Italian BUCKAROOs.................and the older ones have lasted me more than 25 years. Lookin to buy another pair of Potawattomies now.

Haven't worn athletic shoes in over 20 years. I rotate Ariat ropers, Double H, and Tony's. Super comfortable but I only wear them on my days off. Doc Marten's 1460's for work and all around grunge and super comfy. Birkenstock's at home and for when I'm feeling hippy and Hawaiian. Don't need any thing else.

Haven't worn cowboy boots in 40 years. I wear a size 13 shoe, and so I bought a size 13 boot. I'm not sure about the fit, my foot stays in the boot alright, but my heal lifts every time I walk, sort of like wearing sandals. Seems roomy, and comfortable, I can stand on concrete all day, and there awesome. When I was young I remember the old folks telling me to wear my boots for about 2 weeks, and then get them wet, because when they get wet and dry for the first time the leather shrinks closer to the foot. Is that true, or is that an old wise tale?

I have bad feet so I switch between shoes through the day. In my house I wear my hey dude shoes, if I'm in town or running around everywhere I wear my boots, and if I'm working out or any other sport activity i wear my tenny runners.

A well fitting boot is the best most healthiest footwear and look the bollocks ... it pains me to see everyone wearing jeans and when you look at their feet they are wearing sneakers/trainers!! .... I’m from London and I wear my boots every single day ... ( I don’t even own a single pair of sneakers) .... my boots take me everywhere....

Honestly I wear my boots everyday and they scuffed and may look weird to city fold but I don’t give a damn. Them boots better than any sneaker I ever worn and they look great. I got flat feet and my ropers support my feet amazingly.I ain’t wearing sneakers unless I absolutely have to.

I wear a different pair every day, I rotate them. I also wear some with the rubber soles that are cushioning about every other day. Tennis shoes are too soft soled and you can feel every rock and pebble. It seems that men like to see a pair of nice boots on the ladies too. So ladies, rock them cowgirl boots! Just make sure they are the real deal, not the cheap fashion boots.

For me, I have boots for good and for work. For work 2 pairs of Justin ropers and one pair of R toe's Dan posts that I kinda demoted to work boots. I work in a warehouse, so I don't want to mess up a nice pair. For good I have: Laredo Gray/black wing tips, Black Santa fe bullhide, Black Dan Post J toes, and Gray vintage Tony Lamas. If I'm not wearing boots, I'm in Asics runners(kind of another thing I like) or Nike Sport Slides Sandals in really warm weather.

I'm conflicted about walking through water and mud in my boots, on the one hand they're made for that but on the other I really don't want them to get dirty. And for rain? I try to avoid wearing them.

I don’t mind it I’m comfortable with my boot tall heel and tall shaft. I first worn tennis shoe I hated them do to them always tearing and throwing them away.
