Plague knight has bad mobility? Not if you're using bomb jump properly. Obviously you can use it for approaches, but since you can get two bomb jumps without touching the ground, he's really good at air camping, escaping danger, chasing down opponents on bigger stages, etc. I don't think hes top tier but putting him at the bottom is underestimating his mobility
@@Boney_PaladinFor real, the first thing I did while playing Showdown (I played it first lmao) was trying to get more than one bomb jump, and yeah the amount of air stalling you can do with plague is pretty funny
@@Boney_Paladinkinda shoes how complex his movement is when compared to other character He is easily the fastest char in the game as well as the most manuverable if you know what you are doing
Treasure Knight in Showdown makes me sad that he didn't win the vote to get his own story with gameplay one of the problems that each of the other stories has is that once you get all the upgrades you kind of have no more use for money while treasure knights would have made collecting money more important.

6:18 black knight has a garunteed punish with fireing his charged projectile. The fact black knight was put in e tier is so wild. His side hop has nearly a whole second of invincibility, can be a recovery tool, has a hitbox on the shovel, and can reflect. Genuinely one of the best moves in the game. He also has a hidden tech with combing his arc peojectile with the charge shot to make it a super projectile that goes through other characters projectiles or projectile destroying attacks.
"When Baz parries he's the only character in the game who has a guaranteed punish" is a WILD statement 😭😭 I couldn't even make him parry combo with a wall when I tested it
Trash list, shovel knight is extremely strong. his attacks come out very fast and they let him pogo up over the opponent and off of their attacks, which combined with the lunge lets him control the spacing around the enemy. If the shovel knight is playing well enough you can't approach him with characters like king knight because he can counter every move without much end lag, and if you stay back with a zoner you have to deal with the projectile and lunge, whilst shovel knight can delete projectiles with his shovel or pogo over them. Even spacing him out doesn't work because he can jump and attack on reaction to pogo off of horizontal lunges and projectiles.
Goldarmor is terrible but ive spent waaaaay too long practicing them and they actually are like pretty fucking neat in neutral. like only neutral but in neutral they are so neat. you can hold strikes to give a weird fucked up timing, the triple stab can be angled up and down for wierding out the opponent and its overall just really neat. takes like so much practice to use semi effectively tho. also baz like really sucks in my opinion. you can basically always parry the whip cause the animation is really easy to react to in my opinion
I don’t agree with Tinker Knight mainly because when you are throwing a wrench you can only throw one and not do anything except move around until it comes back you. You also could easily dodge his moves and simply charge in for an attack. Another problem is when you are flying as Tinker Knight you throw you wrench like how shovel knight use his purple weapon (I forgot what it is called). But the problem is it hard to hit your enemies with it. So I believe Tinker Knight should be lower in my opinion.
Lots of wrong calls there. Shovel knight can never be worse than King Knight. And I think it’s obvious who the best, in fact quite unbalanced, character is. The fact that you put her into second tier shows how wrong you are. Being able to fly and shoot fireballs every which direction beats Treasure Knight, or any other character, sorry!
No. While the Enchantress is really strong, I'd argue Treasure Knight is even better. While the Enchantress has a nuanced projectile game and a fairly good get-off-me tool with her diagonal charges, Treasure Knight's obscene mobility mix-ups, anti-air potential(which beats Enchantress if she gets close, btw), and ways to attack the opponent make him the best character in the game. I agree on Shovel Knight being better than King Knight, no doubt about that.
I've been playing this days to the Story Mode of Shovel Knight Showdown, and let me tell you, you're goddamn right. Treasure Knight is so powerful my friend and I started calling him "The True God of the Order of No Quarter". Everytime we faced against a Treasure Knight CPU, a continue would be taken away from us.

I played this game both with bots and my friend and from my experience Specter knight is the best character. He's insanely fast when attacking from the air. And while I agree some characters may have a better moveset on paper like Normal Reize you still have to account parry button which is extremely easy to pull off on Specter because of his hitbox size. He also doesn't have any downsides in his abilities. Long story short, my friend beated me every time with this character even tho he had less experience than me and absolutely cheesed hard mode bots while I had to try to go for tricky plays on the others
I have the feeling you dont play this as much as smash bros. I have beaten story as all characters so I feel like you have a lot of them unfair placements (except treasure knight)
