This show is so amazing. It brings back so many happy childhood memories of going to the city to see it. Last time I went was November 2018. This year sucks! Can't wait to get in the festive spirit. We need it this year.

There are 2 Latino gals in it this year. My friend was a rocket in the 90's. You have to be a certain height and have long legs. Years of dance experience. Nothing to do with race. They get paid $hit. 10 to an apartment and spend their own money to audition several times before they land a spot.
Open auditions if you’re of the correct height. It all comes down to who has the talent, the finesse, etc. they are not racist. They have a rockette who has one hand.
Today, December 6, 2023, my son's school took him for perfect attendance; he returned extremely delighted; this is a fantastic experience for children and adults alike.
with the auditions there’s around 800 girls, and about 10 of those are black/poc.. 76-80 girls get in and around 5 of them are poc! it’s the same percentage basically so we can’t give the company hate for poc not auditioning…
I saw two African Americans just to the left of center in multiple routines, dancing next to each other. Maybe you were looking at legs instead of faces?? 😺💕🐾
