It was perfect. 90 minutes felt like (literally) 20. All were 100% perfectly cast and totally on point. The scenic transition into the world of the Beauxhomme put me in my grave.
I had the privilege of seeing this on my birthday this year and let me say that I’m so grateful. it was truly magical!!!! I hope they release a full recording of this cast, it’s incredible!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad I saw this show. Some of the best voices on Broadway and a marvelous production done on sand with water, a chicken and a goat. If you go be sure to go early and catch the "pre show" that basically flows into the first number.
Saw the show in January. It was PHENOMENAL. The tech was incredible, and it's in Circle in the Square. Definitely see the show if you have the opportunity to! Also Isaac Powell was such a sweetie :)
When my drama teacher took some of the seniors to New York, this was her favorite out of the eight shows she saw. She thought it was really cool how there’s real sand that they can move out for scenes with carpet and actual water coming down during the storm.
I had the pleasure of seeing this show a week about and it was the most magnificent spectacle of Musical Theatre I have ever witnessed. Truly flawless!!!!
This was my first musical when I was six. I got to play little Ti Moune, and it's the reason I'm going to college for theater now. I really hope the soundtrack gets released, because this sounds amazing.
I hope this cast is ready for the sheer amount of Tony noms they're gonna get. I mean: Hailey is practically a gurantee for Leading Actress in a musical. It would be a travesty if Lea Salonga isn't nominated for Supporting Actress. Alex Newell might be the only person able to give Gavin Lee (an almost guaranteed Tony nom) a run for his money And (I know this is a long shot) I would absolutely DIE of happiness if by some miracle Issac Powell gets nominated for Leading Actor/supporting actor. And Michael Arden might finally get his best director Tony!

It was ingenious! The front row had their feet in the sand. Everyone in that theater feels like they're on the island and with the people before it even begins
