Trying to show all the Minelab Equinox 800 numbers we dig. If I didn't get the numbers on the video, I tried to get them all from him so you knew what they were.
I’m jealous of your fluffy marshmallow ground, shoot, here in NC It’s hard compacted clay in a lot of areas. You won’t be digging much with just a hand digger.
Nice job just got my nox yesterday and charged it up going out now.Good job on your plugs too many guys cut the plug out of the hole!!!I make a square plug cut three sides leaving a hinge that way it insures the grass won’t die.
This is the only Nox upload I’ve seen with the most coins found on a hunt. Great to see the Nox in the hands of someone who knows what their doing. I have just purchased one. I would greatly appreciate to know your settings if you’d be happy to share them with me. Thank you & happy hunting
Here something that's worth trying out with the Equinox. Try pumping the coil over the target if it's got a low number or iffy signal. If it's still a good or solid number then it will be something good or if the numbers have changed then it's trash. I've been doing this and it's been working out great.
Senior Divers & Detectorists You're welcome. I've just found someone who discovered the same technique ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ErWgjna-CSU.html
ty and welcome aboard! You're going to love the 800. Planning a video soon of just what we found (minus the trash) in our 1st month with it redetecting places we had already detected with our other 2 detectors!
There was a video on bottle cap identification with the Equinox, next time when those numbers come up change to 10 from multi and if the numbers change into the mid 20’s it will be a cap, I’m going to try next time.
I've got both the AT Pro and Nox 800. The pro is a good machine, great on coins and silver but never found gold the 3 years that I used it, also good in fresh water but horrible in salt water. The Nox 600 or 800 in my opinion is a better machine, found gold the second hunt out and continued to find gold after. Both machines are submersible to 10ft. Have not tried the Nox in salt water yet but they say it will not freakout like the AT Pro...Hope this helps!
They actually fall all over the place so hard to give a number depends if they are broke off, bent, etc 17-28 id say but heres the thing between them and bottle caps you will know they jump all over the place
Cut your plugs a little less angled... You are needlessly cutting through roots in some of the nicer tailored areas. I find those patches come back up pretty brown and dead with the roots cut.
Thanks for the view and info. We have been back to these places and so far no brown spots :) And even though most of the places we dig may look well manicured in the videos, they are rarely taken care of. But, taken care of or not, we treat them the same :) We always try to leave them better than we found them.
