I am a woman in my 60s. This is the best anime I've ever seen, and it's shocking at first, but don't give up and keep watching until the end. I'm amazed at the well-thought-out story and foreshadowing. This year, 10 years since the first episode, we are finally reaching the final episode, but this is the first anime I have waited for 10 years. Please enjoy this anime full of surprises and foreshadowing until the end 😊(I am using the translation function🙏)
It really is. Some people think anime is kid stuff and such. The medium has little to do with who something is meant to be watched for. We as people love great stories and they exist in all mediums.
My mom and I are too! She asks me constantly about when the new episode of Spy x Family is coming out in dub xD She doesn’t watch sub since she can’t follow the subtitles that well, but I can proudly say she is my anime buddy ☺️✨
I made my Dad watch it. Bless his heart. He didn’t understand what was going on or when we were in a flashback or not and who each character really was, but god damn it he sat down with me and watched every episode. Thats a true Dad right there, indulging in your kids interests not because you enjoy it, but because it makes them happy

This is my first (real) Anime, it got recommended to me many, many times and it did NOT disappoint after finally watching! It's safe to say, I'm frkn ADDICTED.
The best thing about watching Attack on Titan with a newbie is they get to experience it for the first time and their reactions. All while your brain is imploding seeing all the set ups, subtle story moments you had no idea would amount to anything. Simply a masterpiece
Love how Austin now just smiles realizing what some of these snapshots and what each of these scenes this EP actually meant for the entirety of this show. Its just so wholesome
I'm 51 and have been watching anime since the late 70s. I never get tired of it. Though I wish I had parents or even friends that were interested in watching it, I really do find it to be a most powerful medium of storytelling. I don't like all of it and I tend to really only enjoy dramas, but there really is nothing quite like anime and I'll never stop watching it as long as it's available. It's cool your mom was so open to it. I don't really know anyone in my life who is except me. ♥ AoT was ....... an experience and after 10 years just .... it will be so strange to be without it.
I would have showed this show to my mom 100%! She always loved stuff like this but she never watched anime. Too bad that she died few years ago, and I never got to show her this :(

I had been talking about aot to my mom and brother for years. They said it felt too dramatic. We watched it together and now it’s their favorite show ever. Loving this new series ☺️ hope you guys cherish these moments together
Beware when she reaches S3, there's a solid chance she might not be able to pause without watching at least 5 episodes in a row. That was the case with my mom, can't handle suspense (and I easily got to understand where that side of my genes came from 😂)... She even spoiled the ending for herself

My mother doesn't like animation stuff and she said that shie is incapable of catching feelings from anime so I showed her the translation of the lyrics of season 1 ending and season 4 ending and she loved them. The next step is watching it. I told myself that wouldn't watching it again. However, if i get my mum to watch it, the tears are worthy.💪🏻

This show always makes me cry. I still remember watching the first episode like 7-8 years ago & I just finished the last season a couple months ago. Absolutely amazing! Generational anime for sure!

I heard hollywood mandated (in the early days) that the good guys always have to win, and the good and bad have to be obvious. Attack on titan does a good job of blurring those lines.
