@Mary I suspect it was an actual question, and btw it's not true. Yes, during her first year she got to dance little Masha (Clara) and in pas de trois in the Nutcracker, but she didn't get any solos during her second or third years. At any rate, being a top student means getting good grades on the classical dance exams which is more important, especially for younger students. I've just read that this year she failed her classical dance exam. She'll have a possibility (maybe two) to try to pass it again. If she doesn't, she'll be expelled. Now, I've read this in a Russian forum, so it might not be true, but this particular forum is usually reliable as it's the one where parents of kids there discuss the school. At any rate, she is far from being the top student there.
@@MR-eh2vd You are right. I've just seen it too. This is strange because a week or so ago someone posted in the same forum I mentioned that she was staying, so I assumed she passed at the second attempt and was hoping it was true. But now she removed it. Maybe she'll post something soon. Even if she is no longer at the VBA, she could audition for another academy, maybe even come back later.

Она учится в Минске. Недавно выступала на конкурсе, кажется, в Испании. Я видела два фрагмента: па-де-де из "Талисмана" и "Пламя Парижа". Мне очень понравилось. 32 фуэте " открутила" вполне профессионально. У нее сейчас переходный возраст - сложный период для девочки и в балете, и в художественной гимнастике, и в фигурном катании.
Tantented yes but more that she and her trainers have discipline and dedication! I can't imagine how hard she must've worked to get to this level. How hard she must work every day! That's what I admire.

@Lilah Helmer no they is so wrong. How advanced a young dancer is doesn't mean they're ready for pointe. A child this young had soft bones and dancing en pointe this early can lead to permanent deformation and damage to the feet and ankle.

Why would her parents or teachers let her be on point too young if she has such a brilliant future! One would think her health would be more important. I can’t watch her even if she’s beautiful a talented knowing she should not be on point
