I think Kyle is just angry at everything right now. His team his lack of performance and I think the wall contact just sent him over the edge whether ricky's fault or not. Gragson I could see landing where ever Briscoe doesn't, if not at RFK though. Berry I could see landing at Kaulig in the #16 if that ride is still around if funding stays with him. 2 charters go to FRM and 2 to Trackhouse. #solved

If Dale Jr. is ever going cup racing this looks like the ideal situation. He and Tony are friends so make a deal for everything charters, buildings etc. Buy it ASAP, when the charter deal with Nascar happens sell 1 or 2 of the charters after the price goes back up to recoup some of the money. You then have a 2 or 3 car team with a lower cost than you could get any other way.

For those of us who are old school NASCAR fans, we see that the sport is in a tough spot. Attendance is down, sponsors are getting harder to find (and keep), and the on track product is lacking. Couple that with an auto industry in transition, the love affair with the automobile in decline among younger generations, and the sanctioning body being out of touch with the fan base. My uncle said in the early 90’s that the multi car team and leaving the traditional tracks primarily in the south was the beginning of the end. I thought he was wrong. After all, the sport was booming in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Now I think he was right. This is not the NASCAR I fell in love with. I attended my first race in 1979 and had been a diehard fan up until the Car of Tomorrow was introduced. I started losing interest then. Now, it’s about unwatchable for me. Once NASCAR goes hybrid and then fully electric, the diehard fans will be gone. Way to go France family. Your arrogance and greed have destroyed everything Big Bill envisioned.

I may be sniffing paint, but I still think Stewart gives Earnhardt Jr a discount on the charters. He already took some of JR Motorsports drivers. Seems something that Stewart would do. He just has a different personality and seems like something he'd do just to help someone that likes racing.

2:45 my biggest take on why he shouldn’t be punished because it was premeditated is because NASCAR had plenty of time to take that information and de-escalate it before it happened. It just doesn’t sit right with me that 1: This is what the fans want to see 2: NASCAR will use it as promotional footage for the sport 3: NASCAR had plenty of time to talk Stenhouse down, he didn’t exactly hide anything. Only positive is that whatever NASCAR fines him, he’ll probably make that up from the attention he’s getting from it. Similar to Josh Williams.

If I was ford, I would try my best to get Gragson in another ford team like FRM because of their smaller stable of younger talent. He's been showing what he is capable of and Ford would really fumble the bag if they let him go to a different manufacturer. Honestly I could see FRM picking up 2 charters and both Briscoe and Gragson go there.

If SHR sells out, what if JRM purchases two charters and keeps Berry and Gragson.

Me personally, I think Haas sells two charters: one to Trackhouse for SVG, and one to 23XI for Gragson. They then merge with Front Row, bringing Berry and Briscoe over to join Gilliland and Custer, who will take over for McDowell. Custers’ Xfinity seat is filled by Preece, and Zane Smith takes over SVG’s Xfinity seat for the time being.

Nascar needs to back the f off. This is the most exciting thing that has happened all year.

If SHR sells does ford try to get Penske or RFK back into xfinity or just throw everything at the 15 and AM racing.

I think 20-30M is still a very strong number for a charter for the seller (mostly only discounted because of the available supply like you said) but also a very good value for the buyer at very minimal risk. Let's face it, a deal is getting done, and worst case for this deal is NASCAR doesn't make them permanent, but keeps the current charter system. The deal will almost certainly guarantee the charters for another 6-10 years. That means the buyer now is buying a charter with a 6-10 year lifespan. At 30M that's a heck of a value compared to the 40M paid last year for what could have been only a 1 year charter when they really didn't have any idea where this deal was headed. I think the charter price going forward will rely heavily on how many are up for grabs each year and how many years are left on the new agreement.

It's "Boys Have At It" In My Book. NASCAR, Just Let The Drivers Do Their Own "Policing" And Only Get Involved In The Truly Malicious Actions. As Far As SHR...Smoke Has Moved To NHRA And Gene Haas Is Doing His F1 Stuff, So If They Choose To Sell, Its No Huge News Flash To Me!

As an F1 fan in addition to NASCAR, I think if SHR sells all 4 or even just one of of its charters, there should be in theory more money for Haas to spend when it comes to the F1 side of things which could improve their on track performance. Then again the sale of the charters may not have any effect on the F1 team & the F1 team will continue to be terrible. Haas in my view should be a lot better than what they are currently given the fact that they represent a growing market in the US for F1 & a competitive American F1 team would sustain that growth. Instead Gene Haas insists on providing very little to no investment in the F1 team & has gone as far as siding with the other teams in rejecting a bid for having a 2nd American team on the grid in Andretti that likely would have been competitive right away had they been allowed to join.

Kurt Busch can work with him and get his squared away kid is a playoff caliber driver just needs a good car and direction. Maybe Jr can buy a charter and take his buddy Josh Berry he can get him into the playoffs and build something for a future in cup racing off him for the future.

Ford could easily keep all 4 SHR drivers if they want to. The 34 is open, the 21 is probably open, and RFK & FRM both want to add a charter. I doubt Custer returns to cup next year, especially if SHR folds.

Just curious, but did they have the heat races this weekend ? I looked for them on fs1 but then heard they were on fs2 even though some of the racing was on fs1. But then again Sometimes the race is on fox or nbc or USA but next years 600 is going to be on Amazon or is it Netflix ? I’m still waiting for them to sell a chunk to nasa channel or the comedy channel.

If Trackhouse buys 1 charter, surely it would be for Smith, not SVG. Smith will already have a full year of Cup experience. Why would they pay Spire to field a car for him if they're just going to demote him to xfinity? SVG needs another year to develop with a larger Cup schedule before going full time in 2026. That will also give Trackhouse time to build the team up to field that many competitive cars. That's also why the Kaulig-Trackhouse merger wouldn't make much sense. They would have too many drivers. I don't think Kaulig would want to fire Hemric to free up a spot for Trackhouse's drivers.

I think the future of Berry is less worrying considering it is SHR. Not exactly the strongest team in the garage

Smoke is so invested in, and enjoying, this NHRA stuff that I definitely see at least the S leaving SHR. Plus, let's be honest, Smoke and Nascar haven't gotten along the last 5 or so years. But I wonder if Haas hangs in there and gets another partner. Andretti keeps popping up for both Nascar and F1. Haas obviously has relations already existing in both. Of course Andretti is assumed to be helping fund Spire from the shadows right now. But definitely seems like Haas might be a good opportunity for them to continue to expand.

Not only would this be the best time for JRM to buy a charter when prices are at their lowest. And nobody is talking about the 15 car. Could Berry, Custer, or Harrison land there? Who else could land a full time ride there. I have a feeling that’s going to happen where the 15 goes full time.

The only penalty i see necessary are kyle busch getting an express trip to the hauler for intentially wrecking a guy And those pit crew memebers chokcing each other out and tackling people getting a 1 week suspension Theres no place for those kinds of actions on pit road

I'm a Kyle Busch fan. I can see were both party are, it looks like he may of been squezzed up the fence but also looks like the 34 really helped that.
