I think Shrek killed Thanos because lord lord farquaad gave Shrek that deed to make all creatures leave his swamp but Thanos refused to leave and Shrek wasn’t gonna deal with it. :} Lol
Losing Donkey, Shaggy, and Master Chief really hit him hard. What’s worse is he has to hide his sadness with his anger. He’s hiding his layers in this scene and it’s heartbreaking

That’s what I was thinking. Tobey would most certainly be concerned with the safety of Shrek’s loved ones, even putting saving Shrek’s personal life over his own. After all, they’ve always been best bros.
Not counting the millions of dollars that the filmmakers put into the movie, of course. I mean, you may have had a point if they hadn't already used the original as the source of everything.
