Fun fact if you wanna try this with berry flavors, if you squish berries ex:strawberry,blueberry,cherry ect. and mix them with a little water and microwave them for 15-30 seconds the juices will extract a little and you get extreme flavor. I use this method for making rabbit treats and I think it would be cool for snowcone flavoring.

Schlatt was right, as always. Something silly and funny would be goat yoga with your goats, but wear an insane amount of protection because of Oatmeal.

I am a keeper at a wolf sanctuary. All of our animals are also rescued from the pet trade. I so appreciate the way you speak about not showing them as pets! We have to be incredibly careful as well, even in just the language we use around them, because I get DAILY comments about "oh they're just big puppies!". When I was a keeper at WRR in San Antonio we had this same issue with the capuchins. You're doing awesome work. I'm so happy to see your amazing education.

I gotta admit, after rescuing a cat for the first time, I could not fucking do what you guys do. Seeing the state that he was in hurt my heart and made my stomach turn. I could not bear to see the condition those poor little dudes were in. The worst part? I'm falling for that rescue cat. Every time he rubs against me, or sits in my lap, I just melt. I couldn't do that with every single animal I rescued. You're a much stronger person than I. Also, I'm not surprised this video has something to do with Jaylor Schwift. He loves him some monkeys.

I didn’t realize marmosets are so small. They’re adorable❤ Also thank you for mentioning how bad the pet trade is. Wild animals are👏not👏pets👏. If you are not a rescue stick to domesticated animals. There are some exceptions like chinchilla and other rodents that can’t be domesticated. but you need to be an experienced pet owner and do a lot of research to take good care of them. If it is an animal that hasn’t been breed to be a pet for a very long time, it is likely just stolen from the wild to be sold.

Kind of wild to see a video about marmosets, these lil guys are pretty common where I live! Here we call them saguis and they can be found in pretty much any place with a reasonably sized wooded area (I live close to one that has at least a family of 7 or 8 of them), and unfortunatly there's a growing population in urban places as well. They are adorable to see in nature, usually they get a bit curious so they will jump down a couple of branches to get a good look at you. I was always told to avoid interactions and haven't heard of anyone keeping them as pets, thank you for helping them and fighting against their trafficking!

Thank you for talking about that link because I have absolutely seen that kind of stuff online but had no idea what to do, especially because I live in the UK and the stuff I've seen has been outside of here. In barely related ideas, I've long thought about mandatory classes for people who get pets. Like stricter laws against wild animals being kept as pets, but also that once you are registered as a pet owner you are required to go to however many classes regarding the animal you now have in your home. How to read a cat's body language, how to break up a dog fight, here are the things they can/can't eat, this is what you should look for when choosing pet food, what bedding should you use for hamsters, etc. Things that I feel like people should absolutely know before getting an animal but surprisingly a lot of people don't google it. An animal is your responsibility and if you want to have it in your house then you better be doing your gd best to make sure that animal is happy and healthy. That is your full time job now. People owning wild animals are not doing it because they love the animal and have the ability to care for them adequately. They don't always know if they have specific requirements. They just want the animal as an accessory, an extension of themselves. They want to be "that person with the marmosets" and not want the full time job that comes with them. Monkeys are cute and I love watching them, but almost everyone on the planet is delusional if they think they could look after them, especially as one person in a home. It genuinely hurts my heart that people are so unwilling to see the intelligence and sentience of non-human animals as important or necessary to respect and look after. No animal deserves to suffer because some arrogant and stubborn human thinks they deserve a special pet. Sorry this got a bit ranty but this pisses me off to no extent. Also I've messed up my shoulder and I've taken my strong nighttime painkillers and I think they've kicked in now. Here's a fun fact I have learnt about myself: I'm so fucking annoying that even on the strongest painkillers my doctors are willing to prescribe me, I still have good spelling and grammar because I am a language nerd who used to do proofreading. I just lose that part of my brain that tells me to not spill my entire life online when no one has asked for it. Okay night night please look after your animals and also animals that aren't yours because we are all interconnected in the web of life and it's important to remember that.
