It doesn't matter she's the bride. That's the only thing that matters. Her sister is not doesn't matter what the sister likes or anyone else. Just the bride. Have you heard of her, She's the spotlight of any wedding ❤

One strap dresses look and feel lopsided. A compromise should have been reached - most brides pick a color and let the bridesmaids pick the dress. It even looks better in pictures to have different- but same color - dresses.

​@cdr3986 that wasn't the look this bride wanted. It is her wedding, no compromise is needed. If you don't want to wear whatever the bride wants, don't be a bridesmaid. If the bride wants you dressed as a minion, you show up dressed as a minion. There does come a point where it goes from being your day going the way you want and you becoming a bridezilla, but that is not what happened here. This bride said no to them wearing a dress the bride specifically said she didn't want. A bridezilla is someone that gets mad that your mom died and you can't make it to the wedding.

The consultant remembered she said she liked the one shoulder look, so she pulled those for her. Everyone except the older sister liked the look. It's her wedding, only one person didn't like the look, so why does she need to look at a bunch of other options? Just to delay the inevitable?

My sister was my maid of honor. She was 14 at the time. My DH’s brother’s wife signed as a witness.

Yes, but anyone who saw them get married can sign as a witness, so I'm not sure where the problem comes in?

@@juliestrickland7754 wondering because a 7 year old is not of legal age to be a witness and that one of the roles of Maid of honor along with signing legal papers, was wondering how the situation is handled not trying to make it a problem

@@melrobertson2743 it's traditional for the maid of honor to sign it, but not a legal matter, so her mother or father or the best man could sign it was well. I should have worded that differently. Apologies.

You kinda can't blame the bride after the way the older sister acted. And we only saw part of the visit. She was low key trying to bully the bride into picking the dress she wanted, even smirked at the bride when she thought she had gotten her way, and probably had been going at this for a while considering how tense everyone was as soon as they were waiting for her to come out of the dressing room. The bride had probably just had enough. And if Amber didn't want to compromise for her sister on her wedding day, she could have done just what you said and declined, or buggered off on vaca instead of bringing her negativity to the wedding. No one twisted her arm or held a gun to her to make her be on this wedding.

It might be rosacea, I had a friend who had it and makeup can easily look off in color because of it. It’s hard to cover up.

@@sarahstalcup9621 if the bridesmaids are paying for the dress, shoes, etc then they have a say. Brides used to take their wedding party into consideration when choosing dresses and not cause a hardship for the wedding party.

Truly. Their opinion counts and they should like what they are paying for.

Sometimes this show projects bridesmaid like anti the bride but the bridesmaid are paying for the dresses. So if a bridesmaid doesn't feel comfortable in the dress she just has to accept it to please the bride

I know that some don't, but I thought that most brides paid for their bridesmaid dresses.

At least one of the bridesmaids didn't like strapless as well as the bride.

Then when the other commenter says that the bride and another bridesmaid also didn't like the strapless, you say the adults were too picky and ultimately it was the bride's choice. The bride literally said she liked a one shoulder dress. That's what the consultant pulled for her. Everyone but Amber was on board with the blue one shoulder dress. And as far as the little girl having an opinion? The bride chose to give her one, her wedding, remember? And she was more mature than the adult sister. The bride was trying to find a dress she liked that would work for everyone. Amber was concerned only with what she liked and how she looked.

@@juliestrickland7754 do you not understand the difference between a child and adult? the problem with the child's dress is that she has nothing to hold up the strapless, it is not about not liking the dress. if the bride likes the strapless dress, it would be fine to add a strap for the child to hold it up.

Some people are ok with that and some people want everything to match. It's the bride's wedding and she gets to decide what she wants done. If Amber doesn't want to be in the wedding because she cant wear exactly what she wants, then she can easily excuse herself and be a guest.

She wasn't as much uncomfortable as she didn't like it. She wanted strapless and was determined to low key throw a fit and pout until she got her way. That smirk at one point when she thought the bride was going to give in would have done it for me. If she's that uncomfortable wearing a dress that fits her well and doesn't appear to be chafing her or anything ,long enough to be in the wedding amd take pictures, them why not just excuse herself and go as a guest? The other grown bridesmaid really liked the dress, too. Amber was the only one uncomfortable in it

I based my judgement on her looks, her appearance. She didn't look so young to me.

Ummm, how? She's way more mature than the older sister, who is obviously used to bullying people into getting her own way. The way she smirked at one point, shw really thought the bride was going to cave in and pick her choice. I'm glad she didn't. The child didn't act like a brat at any point during this show. She showed a few 7 year old behaviors, but she talks like teenager at the very least. And her behavior was spot on.

In this case, though, I think if the Maid of Honour wore a different dress, people would assume she was the flower girl.

I've never seen that, only the same dress in a different color.

​​@@Jerseygal30people do it a lot. A couple of decades ago, you usually saw the same dress, different color. But now it's more common to see a different dress, or same dress with some kind of detail that the others don't have. More common is that they all wear the same color, but different dresses.
