Great tractor and mower - in Ireland, we called it a "cutting bar". I grew up with tractors and mowers very like those; this was great to see. Very scenic countryside too. Thanks for the video.
The M-F 50 is looking strong ! & that no. 32- 7ft sickle bar was cutting like butter ! Thanks for the video , I always enjoy watching your M-F 50's working😉.
We have a international sickle bar mower. Used to mow attached the drawbar of a H or M Farmall. It works great. Used it for over a decade. However I lucked out and bought a Gov Surplus Ex highway dept Tractor. Cost Me $750 for A 301 A john Deere 3 cyl gas. It has a canopy. And the most handy thing. A mid mount pto driven sickle bar mower. That has hyd lift. It will mow in the vertical position and down to about 33 degrees below horizontal. I dont have to keep looking back. I can shake any rats nest or clogged mess off the cutter bar. Power steering its a real joy to mow with it. That lookes like Orchard grass to me.
Man, you really got to watch those sickle bar mowers when you put the sickle bar down, because of the blade and pittman arm slide down, you can lose a finger or 2.. I know I almost had that happen. Your tractor and mower seem to be working well. By the way, I'm a new subscriber. Thanks for the video.
