Just relax folks, this is simply a tribute to a man who had a huge impact on our world. Like many people who were thrust into stardom he was both perfect and completely flawed. But he was a man and he had an impact on the world. RIP Sid.
My childhood hero ! I had a mom that didn't flip out over my music taste . She bought me the albums . You would think she had bought me gold ! THANKS MOM FOR LETTING ME BE ME !
Good mum. The Ramones, Joy Division, Blondie and Souxsie and the Banshees were the best bands to come out of the punk era. Both in terms of commercial success and how they influenced culture. I feel very melancholic about Sid Vicious because he didn't have much of a life! Complete waste! He was a junkie and not particularly deep thinking but that could have all changed. I believe his mum overdosed him because he wouldn't have survived prison
Hey hey, my my Rock and roll can never die There's more to the picture Than meets the eye. Hey hey, my my. Out of the blue and into the black They give you this, but you pay for that And once you're gone, you can never come back When you're out of the blue and into the black. The king is gone but he's not forgotten This is the story of a Johnny Rotten It's better to burn out than it is to rust The king is gone but he's not forgotten. My my, hey hey Rock and roll is here to stay It's better to burn out Than to fade away My my, hey hey. Hey hey, my my Rock and roll can never die There's more to the picture Than meets the eye. Hey hey, my my.
He was great wasn't he?! Will never forget coming home after 20 a side football on the park, jumpers for goal-posts lol, & saw "Pretty Vacant" on TOTP, Wow who are these guys? Playing bass naked from waist up, padlocked - in a word ... Presence -- Sid
I had never heard this song before up until a few days ago and I absolutely love it and I can't stop playing it . It is amazing what a talented man. It's a shame the good guys go too soon . RIP sid vicious
During the Intro (0:51 ) the singer and bassist says: "Für die mit den langen Haaren!" which is german for: "For those with the long hair!" (Neil Young) :-) The singer and bassist was Zimbl from the german punkband "The Bates". Zimbl died in 2006 because of alcogol abuse at the age of 41. Here is the original live video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W0cb0WHYJQY.html
Canción de Neil Young and Crazy Horse. Disco Rust never Sleeps. Hay van curiosidades: This song was written during the time when Neil Young and Jeff Blackburn were in a band called The Ducks in 1977. Blackburn was credited as a co-writer of the song. Neil Young mentions artists from the '50s, '60s and '70s: Danny and the Juniors, Elvis Presley, The Sex Pistols and its lead singer Johnny Rotten, to show that "rock and roll will never die". Kurt Cobain's suicide note contained a line from this song: "It's better to burn out than to fade away".
Yeah Sid Pirate I know how you feel... Your kind of like Sid Vicious... but yet your not Vicious, your PIRATE... SID PIRATE! Take care... myself...me... EYE... lol...
Hey all. to answer all the questions about if this is Sid Vicious. No this is not sid vicious singing, as far as i could find out, this recording is from The Bates live in Göttingen 1992 and sid died 1979. im pretty sure most of you old fans allready knew this but just stating it so people will know. and if you want to have proof, search for "The Bates - Out Of The Blue (Hey Hey, My My) Live Göttingen 1992". the sound is all identical to this video. Have a good day all. But even if sid didnt make the actual song, he was still an awesome and crazy dude. RIP
The Bates. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W0cb0WHYJQY.html
Но разве что у Янга по тексту "my, my, hey, hey".
I’m 52 I remember when Sid and Nancy movie came out. My gf at the time had me watch it and from that day on ( 1986) I was hooked to the Sex Pistols. Sid of course being my favorite. I think we all can relate to Sid Vicious in our own way. RIP SID!
I love this boy. I love everything about him,I am in love with him. I saw a video about Nancy spungen , in the video you can see how she grew up, and i feel sorry for this girl. And it was not just the deugs that made her agressive , the doctors think she was schizofren. Yeah, but anyway , I love Sidney....
