@@oogiboogiboogioogi3771 I never realized this, for some reason i thought it was weird how in some videos NFS looks super photo realistic or has good graphics and in others it was lacking, but now that you mentioned it and other comments have, it's true, the cars in NFS are highly detailed, the overall environment and graphics aren't as good, but the cars themselves look incredibly realistic, which i guess was a good move since you look at the car a lot more than anything, but it hurt it since you look at it and see the environment and notice the difference, i hope to see them improve on the graphics of the entire game so that we can really be immersed, they did it in 2015 by using backed lighting which was constant and static, and perfectly gave off a realistic ambience and look and hid a lot of the ugly and low quality graphics, in the new games they went the route of going full day time and night time and did their best which i applaud.

Racing: NFS Progress system: NFS I love Forza, but racing is ass in Horizon games. You don't feel any stakes at all. Not to mention you're able to pick Corvette as your starting car lol, wtf is that. NFS is for me a far better game, Forza wins in overall graphics, car physics and car list.

NFS has the advantage of feeling that the cars are REALLY moving on a high a speed when they’re 300+ km/h and above, they do it better than pretty much any other game.

If you look carefully, nfs has what looks like a close map proximity effect, and a far one; whereas forza looks like there’s at least 5 different parts (some need for speeds do this too). It’s more immersive to be able to look around and see different proximity effects than everything whizzing by except for beyond the horizon, personally. They’re all good though, sometimes you don’t want the realism.

Somehow the sounds in NFS is still better in this case or more accurate/realistic to it's real life counterpart, when i think of a GTR R35 or any engine with that configuration in it, all i think about in terms of sound is a trombone, and NFS nails that sound every time, it literally sounds like the real thing, heck the new 2021 F-150 Raptor Gen 3 has the equal length exhaust now that gives off that trombone sound. It's just that characteristic sound of the V6 that is present in every single one if you configure it that way. Tho i have to say Forza is good, overall they have improved, idk if the GTR sound has improved or not but it sounds good for sure like a GTR, it's just missing a little bit extra.

I like NFS better because they don’t just give you free cars, you have to earn them…I’m a level 4 on forza 5 and man I have over 75 cars already 🤦🏽‍♂️ I feel like I beat the game in 10 minutes 💯 what I do like about forza is the range of cars it does have but it’s too easy to unlock cars…but I hate the handling on forza, love the handling on Heat…but I hate unbound lmao And NFS has way and I mean way more liveries

@@nomeka6518 It depends on the people. I'd prefer the realistic physics, which FH5 achieved. At the same time, I also want more customizations for a car, which NFS Heat achieved. I personally wouldn't drive so many cars since you know... I'm only a fan to certain cars of selection (Mostly JDM cars). Both are good in their own ways, but I'd still prefer FH5 because of the physics, and also for the Toyota brand.

graphically I think FH5 is by far better... once you look past the car models - NFS is just flat mapping and lifeless. HOWEVER - the festival system in FH is just super immersion breaking... crap for storyline. NFS is by far more engaging with plot and story progress... and the daytime vs. night time event structure is excellently done. The added challenge of law enforcement is a hallmark of the NFS series - something completely absent from forza. They are enjoyable in different ways and for different reasons.. I don't really consider them competing products, but complimentary. I'll go on a binge playing either... but i find NFS easier to get in and play a few races to actually make progress... whereas FH is better for the complete free-roamability and enormous map

FH5 has got better sounds when all cars are considered. Plus, there are 500 cars in the game, and more than 300 have been recorded. NFS isn't even close. The driving feels better in Forza, the map is more beautiful, it offers more features online, there are seasons, and all types of races you want from offroad to street race. How do people even dare compare these games. NFS needs to make some major improvements, which I hope they do, we all love NFS, after all we never forget the legendary games like most wanted

I can agree on the maps but about the cars ... it's just quantity over quality ... customization is more in-depth in NFS and off-road races are also a thing ... not a mention how painful is hearing cars in Forza or seeing them backfire compared to NFS ... also the cop chases are something that make NFS unique and get it on top of the competition + so many mods available for NFS such as Unite 3.0 ... Forza has more realistic graphics , bigger map and more content but NFS got soul

La forme de la voiture sur for za et trop fine, alors que sur nfs ils ont toujours su appliquer cette effet visuel de l'aspect de la voiture authentique de se que l'on voit dans la vie réelle. Par contre effectivement le design graphique forza est de meilleure qualité. Normal car nfs a fait de la personalisation gaming alors que forza c'est juste pour de la course.

Some sounds in both games are good Forza has the more realistic driving physics and is graphically better in all aspects the music is terrible horizon 2,3&4 had better music than the fifth installment NFS Best for its story a big improvement from the shit show called payback Vehicles customisation is better than horizon in every way Music is better to an extent better than horizon 5 at least all round great games but Forza will always be my number 1 because drifting in it takes skills to control your vehicle from spinning out as for need for speed it's heavily assisted and no real full control

Both have has different aspects. Everyone has their own taste, some prefer NFS over FH5, and vice versa. Both Games are great in one's individual POV. However, if you combine these 2 games, along with other racing games, it'll surely be a deadly racing-open-world game.

@@dyrocide1737 I think you might’ve misread my comment, I’m saying that Forza Horizon 5 is directed towards casuals who know nothing better or have poor tastes in car games. I’ve been an NFS fan for years. The franchise might not be in its best state, but I’m never letting it go.

Need for speed nails the sounds, For some reason Forza can never get the sounds right, they just sound too computerish, don't get me wrong the graphics are amazing but the sounds are just atrocious

Every party invite i get when playing nfs is a bunch of ghetto 20 year olds blasting trap music and when i get invited to parties when playing forza i have to leave instantly after hearing a 12 year old squeaking about not knowing how to drift in their ferrari 😭

NFS Rivals and Hot Pursuit 2010 Are WAAAY Enjoyable and fun than forza series cause you have in your car Weapons for defence like Turbo,Shockwave,stun mine,EMP,ESF,and spike strips also amazing jumps,drifts,Aggresive cops beautiful graphics and map which make this two games extremely fun and Better than forza

I like FH5's graphics more. It looks way more realistic and I also like the distructive environment. NFS feels like it's holding you back, keeping you from destroying things and driving onto the mountains because there are always rocks blocking you which is honestly so frustrating and stupid in my opinion. What also blows away my mind is the fact that there are gaps in the rock walls but when you try to drive through it you ram into an invisible wall.

I tried NFS Heat for the first time about 3 weeks ago, I'm addicted now, and I have to say my first impression was the opposite of yours. In my first race, I remember thinking "Wow these controls and this driving reminds me of the old school NFS games." then I took my first turn way too fast, planned on using the wall to help me turn and BOOM. Corn. Everywhere. Lots of corn. I was flying through a corn field flattening a path of corn as I slid and eventually fell off the mountain to another road, and the race ended. I couldn't believe how much freedom and destructibility it gave me in comparison to the old NFS games.

I am playing Forza Horizon 5 but and i am played almost all NFS games trough and the NFS Carbon is best all of racing games, medal of honor best war game and Far Cry 3 my favortite game ever. 😁(I talked myself out of it 😂)

After playing Forza Horiozn, you understand that need for speed has long been behind in many categories. 1) Physics 2) Tuning a car that affects its behavior 3)Road/Offroad/Rally 4)So many cars vs 150~ in NFS 5) FH4 graphics are better than in NFS, I won’t even talk about the fifth part 6) Who has not played Forza, but still thinks that NFS is the best part about racing, buy yourself Forza and you will only root for it.

Forza is a fun open world car collecting game but a terrible racing game. The opponents in FH are more robotic than any other AI in a racing game, and the physics are dogshit, you never have complete control over it and it slides around constantly like the car’s tires are made of ice.

@@Highspeedtreehugger That's what I'm talking about, the physics of the car is more realistic there, you can't drive at 300 km/h and drift in a corner, it's hard at first, but if you start to brake and gas properly, then you begin to understand the beauty of Forza Horizon. I myself have been playing Need for speed since 1999 and have been a big fan of the series, but now Forza Horizon has no competition.

@@Highspeedtreehugger Because playing racing is not about pressing the gas button 24/7, it is about working with the gas and brake pedal, the correct trajectory, timely braking and pressing the gas when exiting a turn. To begin with, I recommend AWD machines to get acquainted with the game and memorize trajectories, and then you switch to RWD and FWD drives and the game opens up to you with new colors.

@@Rainwall_TV Actually playing racing games is about holding gas 24/7. It’s called speed, it’s what makes racing games fun. A game can have a handling model that’s isn’t ass and still be challenging, and if you think otherwise, go play F-Zero. You will get your ass thoroughly kicked.

I put 300 hours into Heat and absolutely loved it but after playing Horizon 5 and having that 60fps and more realistic graphics I just can’t play Heat anymore. I wish they’d done an upgrade for Heat. I think I’d still be playing it now if they had.

También tomemos en cuenta que NFS es un juego más de carreras clandestinas que literalmente podemos personalizar los coches como se nos plazca son tuneos más ilegales y son de estática o de exhibición, en cambio forza es un juego más legal y realista y que te permite ponerle lo correcto dentro lo legal a un carro y no cosas que haces ver un carro ridículo o tercermundista 😂es como si yo le pongo un aleron a mi Tsuru, y tomas de aire. Entonces mi voto va para NFS, porque la gracia de los juegos es poder hacer cosas q no podrías en la vida real, además q la gran customización de los autos en NFS es un factor invencible, en mi opinión.
